I lead a really busy lifestyle at the moment, between 2 jobs and university, so I really need a reliable, good quality watch, but also like to have one which is comfortable, feminine and stylish. One of my jobs involves a lot of heavy lifting and I have broken a few bracelets and watches in the past due to catching on something or general wear and tear, so durability is also a big consideration. On top of all that, it has to be affordable!! As you can imagine, its not easy to get all of that in one watch! I often shop in Argos for my watches as I find them affordable and they have an alright choice, so I looked there but could not find anything I really liked, so I looked online instead and found this one on eBay for a little over £13 including P&P. I was happy with that price and I was also very happy with the initial look of it when it arrived. On trying it on, I also found that it was really comfortable - the strap is adjustable so you can wear it how you like. So first impressions overall were very good! At one of my jobs, my uniform is all black so I love the splash of colour, and a lot of people have commented on the style, in particular the dimantes around the face. I tend not to wear it at my other job as although it fulfilled all the other categories I was looking for, it doesn't feel robust enough for continuous heavy lifiting. Overall a really nice watch, great look and good value for money!
A few months back I was needing a new watch for some time, but hadn't got around to looking around for one. I came across an Avon catalogue and decided upon this one. What first drew me to the watch was the colour, as I'd never owned a red watch before and quite liked the look of it. It was also different to the watches I normally wear as they all had small faces, whereas this one has a bigger face. The watch was priced at £25 but as I was buying quite a few products from Avon it was reduced to £15. It's currently on sale at £20 on the Avon catalogue which is still a good price, and cheaper than buying it from Morgan on Amazon where it is priced at £33.44. The watch comes in a black box which has the Morgan logo on, inside it you will find the watch with a morgan label attached to it. The watch has a red adjustable strap, which is PU. (I'll admit I didn't actually know what PU is). But the watch strap is quite a shiny red and looks better than the dooyoo picture above. It's an analogue watch with a stainless steel case back. The face of the watch includes the Morgan label along with a red heart with a nice glitter detailing at the bottom and two little silver hearts on each side. The outer edge of the face of the watch includes silver diamante's, which I think gives the watch a nice added detail. This watches face does not include the numbers on the watch but the time is easily gathered. Although I was unsure whether or not to buy this watch due to the quite girly design and large face, I do quite like it. It looks quite nice on my wrist and is comfortable to wear. The watch strap is easily wiped if it gets dirty as well and marks can easily be cleaned from it. I've also dropped my watch accidently and found that the diamante's around the clock face did not come loose or fall off. However my only problem with the watch is that the watch strap feels it will get worn out quite quickly as the material of the watch strap easily gains quite a few creases and folds. Although the strap of the watch is not meant to tear as quickly as other ones, I do feel that the quality of it may decrease over time with more wear - especially if I compare it to my previous watches. At the price I bought it though, I do find it to be a good buy and think it would also make a good gift for teenagers and young adults. Overall I give it 4/5 stars and I am happy with my purchase, but I don't consider it to be one of my favourite watches and I do think there are better designed ones out there.. as this one goes though.. it's quite cute and nice.
