A bright fun watch suitable for everyone

I bought this watch to wear for work as I had ruined a few of my nice watches so I didn't want anything too big or too expensive. I like different coloured watches rather than metal an these Breo sports watches looked just the sort I go for. One of my work colleagues had got one of these Breo watches in the lime green and I thought it looked very bright and stylish. I bought mine from Amazon for £5.50 and chose the light blue one but they also came in lots of other colours including bright pink, green, dark blue, black and white so you could choose one to go with almost any outfit. The recommended retail price is £10.00 but you can get them from Amazon and other online websites for around a fiver. They come in different sizes, small, medium and large and I chose the small size for me as my wrists are surprisingly small compared to the rest of my body! This is plenty big enough for me and I could actually have gone even smaller if they did a smaller size as it does move round a little bit on my wrist but you do need to be able to get it over your hand as it is all in one piece and does not have a fastener. The large measures 18cm, the medium 17cm and the small 16cm. The main thing that I liked about these watches is that they are very small and discreet and are thin in design with a small rectangular digital LCD display which displays the time. They are made of a rubber like material which is called tourmaline which is pliable enough to get over your hand but it doesn't stretch out of shape. It is very light and you cant really feel that you have got it on. It comes complete with an instruction leaflet which explains how to set the time and replace the battery. There are some tiny buttons underneath the watch which you need to press with a pin or needle to set the time and date. These are quite small and I wouldn't be able to do this without my glasses on but it is simple enough to do. You can set the clock to 12 or 24 hour time, I personally have it on the 24 time but this is just down to my personal choice. It is water resistant up to 10 metres but unless I forget I have it on when I am washing up this isn't really relevant for me. I am not really sure why it is referred to as a sports watch as it has no stopwatch but maybe it is down to the fact that you can get it wet and also it won't scratch you or others if you are wearing it for a contact sport. I have worn this watch a lot since I bought it around four months ago both for work and at home. I find it is very comfortable to wear and has not lost any time. I think that this is a fun everyday watch in a neat design which can be worn by anyone and at around a fiver a time they are very affordable and you could have several different colours to match your outfit or your mood.

        Good little watch

I got this watch when i first started going running, it cost me just over £8 which i thought was a great price. Mine is black but it comes in a variety of colours. I got this watch because taking my phone running wasnt really a possibility and i found that my wrist would sweat with any other style of watch. The strap gives just enough strech to put the watch on and take it off, and doesnt slide around while wearing it. Please make sure you check the sizing before you buy as i ordered a medium and had to send it back for a small. If i had to have one complaint about the watch it would have to be the size of the numbers, however this is more of a personal problem. I found the numbers quite hard to read but this is because i dont run with my glasses on! i cant imagine anyone with normal eyesight would have a problem with it.

Very disappointing but was very cheap.

I bought this watch on a whim. I liked the bright lime green colour and thought it would look cool with some matching shoes that I have. It does. The watch comes in several bright colours and also black. Personally I felt the style of the watch merited an out-there colour. Lime green was perfect! The watch strap is a continuous soft rubber band that slips over the wrist easily. There is some give in the rubber so it is perfectly comfortable to slip it on. The watch comes in three sizes, small, medium and large. They are quite a generous 'cut' if that is the right word. I am not that slim but needed the small size to stop the watch moving around too much while I was wearing it. The face has the time in digital numbers. It is quite unusual because rather than the numbers being all in one line, the hours are on the top and the minutes underneath. You can choose whether to use a twelve or twenty four hour clock, which s a nice touch. This watch was only 10.99 so I probably should not have pecked very much but it don even last a year before it started losing time drastically and need up in the bin.

loses time, not ideal for a watch then!

I bought a Breo watch about a year or so ago onboard a Ryanair flight. I'd forgotten to put one of my watches on, and I'm totally lost without a watch. I know that nowadays most people probably just use their phone to see what time it is, and I do this to a certain extent too, however I can't do this at work and the trip was a work related trip. I picked this up for just £10.00, which I thought was pretty reasonable. The Breo Roam watch came in black, white and a few neon colours such as lime green, cerise pink, a light blue and a dark blue. I chose the black as it will go with everything and it isn't too in your face, especially as I was going to be wearing it for work. It's an extremely slim and lightweight watch in a soft touch rubber, it's like a bangle style watch and it just slips over your wrist, the rubber does have a little bit of give in it so that it goes over your wrist easily enough. It's available in 3 sizes; small - 16cm, medium - 17cm, and large - 18cm. I chose the medium which seems an ok fit, maybe just slightly on the big side though as it moves around quite a bit when it's on my wrist. The watch is a digital watch with the digital lcd display in a small rectangular display set into the rubber. The display has the hour at the top, a 'breo' logo in the middle which constantly flashes, and the minutes at the bottom. You can set the watch to display the time in either the 12 or 24 hour clock. It's easy enough to adjust the time with buttons underneath the watch face that you just depress with a pin or something similar. Talking about the time - this watch seems to actually lose time, I don't wear it that often as I don't think that it's the nicest watch that I own, however on the occasions when I have worn it I've always had to rest the time first as it's lost time between wears. It claims to have an extended 2 year battery life on the battery encased in the watch, and I've had my watch for only just less than a year. So I don't know if I've got a watch with a duff battery, or if it's a fault with the watch itself. It came with a 12 month guarantee and so maybe I should have returned it, but I couldn't be bothered for just a tenner! It looks quite sporty and cool, and I do quite like the look of it when paired with a casual outfit, however when I wear it now I'm always slightly dubious that it's telling me the correct time, and I must compare it with my phone at least half a dozen times a day, which then kinda defects the purpose of wearing a watch to tell the time!

An affordable and good time keeping LCD watch

Every Christmas I participate in Secret Santa, which is organised by a colleague at my work place. Last year I opened up my gift to discover a Breo Roam Sports Watch, which I must admit is not really something I would have chosen to purchase, particularly as I'm not keen on their appearance as they look rather childlike. However, rather than waste my gift I decided to try it out with this review discussing my experience. The watch was securely presented inside opaque plastic packaging, which displayed a small amount of product information on both the front and reverse. I was interested to learn that the watch is made from a material named Tourmaline, which is something I've never heard of before. I learned that it is a natural occurring mineral, which is widely used as a semi-precious gemstone and offers a number of beneficial health properties such as detoxifying the body and improving sleep and relaxation. I must admit that I found all of these claims rather ambitious and believed them to be a marketing ploy. However, after researching the material online I discovered that the information provided seems to be the case and that tourmaline was initially discovered in Sri Lanka in 1703. I discovered that Breo Roam Sports Watches were awarded the Good Design Award in 2008 due to their design, comfort and engineering standards, so I was intrigued to put the watch to the test and form my own opinion. Whilst the watch is available in a choice of 25 colours mine is sky blue and in the medium size, which fits wrists up to 17 cm. Other sizes available are small, which is suitable for a 16 cm wrist and large for an 18 cm wrist. Whilst I would describe the design as innovative, it is not something I would wear for all occasions, particularly due to its very casual appearance. The watch is extremely slim with the strap offering a width of 5 mm with the LCD display case measuring 17 mm x 100 mm. On removing the watch from the packaging I was a little disappointed with its soft and rubbery texture, as it reminded me of an extremely thick elastic band although less flexible. However, it was easily stretched to fit over my hand with it springing back into place as it fitted snugly around my wrist. I liked the fact that whilst the watch is comfortable and perfectly fits, it is not tight, as there is a slight gap all the way around, so on those occasions when my wrist expands due to heat, the watch is still very comfortable to wear. I was surprised at its light weight of just 10g, which is far less than any of the other watches that I own. It seemed very strange to own an LCD watch, particularly as I consider them to be very eighties, but as the display is very small, I feel it is very discreet although some consumers may find it a little difficult to read. The watch operates with a SR626SW battery with one already having been fitted and a replacement accompanying my watch. I haven't needed to replace the battery as of yet with the small accompanying leaflet advising that it generally lasts twelve months. Unfortunately, the instruction leaflet displays extremely tiny text and whilst I do not wear glasses I struggled a little when reading the instructions on how to set the time. Consequently, it was necessary to use a magnifying glass so I feel Breo should seriously consider printing the instructions in a larger size. It felt quite alien to me to have to set the time, particularly as I'm used to simply turning a winder to enable the hands to move around. However, the directions were easy to follow with the reverse of the watch providing the relevant buttons in order to carry out this process. In addition to setting the time you are also available to set the month although I do not feel this to be necessary. I've worn the watch on a good number of occasions and in different conditions, such as gardening, walking and when having one of my very few and far between workouts at the gym! I had anticipated the strap to begin showing signs of wear and tear, such as small cracks, but as of yet, this has not occurred, so I am of the opinion that it has been made to a high quality. Whilst the watch is water resistant up to 10m I cannot admit to having tried this out. However, there is a warning contained on the instruction leaflet that hot showers will damage the strap and I do not intend taking a cold shower to see if it continues to function! As I have never been fond of LCD watches I was a little apprehensive as to whether it would keep its time, but I cannot speak of any problems. I favour the fact that the watch does not adhere itself to my wrist when I get hot, which is the case with the charity rubber wrist bands that I used to wear. Despite my initial negative feelings about the watch I was pleasantly surprised how comfortable it is to wear and that it seems to be shock resistant, as despite having a few knocks it remains in perfect working order with no scratches on the plastic face. Unfortunately, the claims of detoxifying the body and improving sleep are areas where I noticed no difference. However, after being reliant on sleeping tablets for almost two years, I would advise that I have not needed to take one for the past month although I think this may have something to do with our wonderful relaxing holiday as opposed to the material used to make the watch. As previously stated, I wouldn't have purchased this for myself although it is clearly very popular, as it seemed to be all the rage a couple of years ago. I'm unsure of the market audience despite the fact that it is branded as a sports watch, as I cannot imagine it will be suitable for all sports enthusiasts due to the fact that it does not contain a stop watch function. However, I'm confident that most children would love the design and the choice of bright colours and as the watches sell for around £5 they are very affordable and can be found from retailers such as Amazon. The watch carries a 12 month guarantee. Due to the reasons discussed above I feel a four star rating to be appropriate.

            Advantages

            Disadvantages

            Great value!

INTRODUCTION I personally am not someone who likes wearing a bulky watch particularly when travelling or playing sport. I was at a gadget convention a number of years ago, when I first came across the Breo brand or watches, wristbands and headphones. They were reasonably priced - 2 for £20 I believe, so I took the plunge and bought a sports watch! DESIGN The watches come in a number of sizes S,M,L and as a guide, small is suitable for children, and medium and large will suit both men and women of different sizes. I found that I was somewhere in between medium and large, but chose large, as I did not want it too tight. The watches are made of rubber and have a very simple perforation at the edges and a small LCD display where you simply get the time. They are available in over 22 different colours as well as some limited edition ones also. Mine is in a lime green colour, which does get dirty easily but can be cleaned with a damp cloth. When you open the packaging, and finally manage to get the watch out, you find the operating instructions for setting the date and time. This is extremely simple, but very fiddly and frustrating. The buttons are miniscule and basically I just pressed the buttons in different combinations until I managed to set the time. You can use a paper clip, or as they recommend a pen, but not one with a very pointy nib or a pin incase you push too far! The watches are not expandable or do not open up, so you have to slide it over your hand and onto your wrist. You need to be careful as people have said they can snap easily. So far this hasn't happened to me, but I take extreme care when putting it on and taking it off. Breo recommend that you roll it off, so no pressure is put on it. PROBLEMS Apart from the fact that they could break easily, the only problem I have experienced is that they seem to run behind time sometimes. After about a week of usage, I realised that my watch which was set based on the BBC Breakfast time display, was now about three minutes behind. You have to then just push it on using the controls mentioned above; it can be a bit of a nuisance though! SUMMARY The watch is great for people who want something which is subtle and more like a wrist band. It is lightweight which is excellent for sport, or teenagers who do not want an expensive, adult looking watch. Despite the problem above, I would recommend it!

a great watch for comfort and sport.

A Breo watch is a little rubber bangle with a small digital display. They are one of the most comfortable watches you could find as you simple pull it over your hand, no latches or things to do up. And their material means they won't rub or catch on anything. They also come in a few different sizes, so you should be able to find one that's perfect for your wrist. The sizes are 16cm (small), 17cm (medium), and 18cm (large). They come in a number of different sizes, and they come in a range of colours to match any style, a friend told me you can even get ones that glow in the dark! The screen is a very simple LCD style, so the numbers are very clear and it's easy to see the time. The watch is in a 12 hour format and you set the watch by using small black buttons on the back of the watch, which can be a little fiddly, I find that I have to use a pen to help set it because they're so small. The style of the watch also means it's great if you're a sporty person, as they can be worn whilst running or exercise, or even when you go swimming. Perfect! As most other watches would have to be taken off. You can get one of these watches from Amazon for about £10.00, which isn't a bad for the comfort and ability to wear at all times.

Fun watch ideal for the summer

I purchased my Breo Roam watch about 3 months ago, and so far I have been very pleased with it, so pleased in fact that this morning I have ordered one for my wife. My watch is the breo Roam sports watch, and I chose the limited edition Neon version. The roam does come in a total of 25 different colours, so there is certainly a colour for everybody out there! My neon one, is a little dull and drab compared to the bright yellow, green, pink etc ones that are available. The Neon is a kind of off white, transparent colour, and does look a little plain, but once it is in a dark area it instantly lights up in a fantastic fluorescent bright green colour, which is very catching indeed. The breo Roam watches are VERY simple in design. They are a basically a single rubber band with a small digital display inserted into the rubber band. This rubber band is flexible enough to stretch over the hand, then retract a little so that it fits well over the wrist. The sizes available are: 16cm - small 17cm - medium 18cm - large It is important to get the right size for the wrist, and to consider the fact that it does need to squeeze over the hand and wrist without causing discomfort, and without breaking the rubber band completely. Breo have a comprehensive website which illustrates their whole range of watches in all the available colours, as well as other products which they offer such as flip-flops, wallets, bags and headphones. Their website can be found at www.breo.com. I did find that the website was useful for having a good look at the range of watches available, but they do tend to be a lot cheaper on Amazon. The watch I ordered this morning for my wife was £15 on Breo, but on amazon, it was just £9:99 for the 16cm pink breo venture which is a bargain, considering the 17cm one is priced at £14:99! My roam neon watch arrived nicely packaged within a cardboard envelope, and inside the envelope was a little plastic Breo container with the watch inside it. Along with the watch, there was a little instruction manual, and a 12 month guarantee, although the guarantee is very vague as it states that it does not cover the glass, the strap or the battery! It also states that exposure to cold conditions can cause the watch to gain or lose time! I paid £7:99 for my Roam Breo from Amazon, and this includes free post and packaging, so for this price you really cannot go wrong. I have read a lot of reviews on dooyoo and ciao, stating that these watches lose time - as much as 10 minutes a week!! From my experience my watch has not lost any time within the last 3 months, although I have not exposed it to extreme cold or warm conditions, and I only wear it at weekends, as I cannot wear watches at work. I have found it is brilliant for use at the gym, as it is so light, and I really forget that I am even wearing it, after all It weighs in at just 10 grams!! The watch is also water resistant up to 10 meters, meaning that I wear it when in the pool at the gym too. The display is quite small, but big enough to read, and it just has 2 screen options, one with the time, and one with the date. To alter the date or time there are 2 very small buttons on the back of the watch face. They are very small indeed, and a little awkward to get too, but it is not something that needs doing very often. The instructions warn that using a sharp pin to press the buttons in will damage the watch (oops! I should have read that earlier!), instead they recommend using a ball point pen. The battery can be replaced by unscrewing 2 small screws on the back of the watch face, and replacing the battery with another SR626SW battery, although this is something that I have not had to do yet, but it is good to know that it is something that I can do myself, without having to pay someone to do it. Overall the Breo roam is a very basic and simple little watch. It sits comfortably on the wrist and provides no irritation. Mine has kept very good time over the last 3 months, and for £7:99 I already feel that I have had more than money's worth. The colour range is fantastic, and they look pretty trendy in my opinion. I find that mine is ideal for use at the gym, and I expect it be great for summer holidays too, as long as the temperature is not too hot. Thanks for reading. © L500589 2012

                Advantages

                Disadvantages

OK, but probably wouldn't buy again.

I bought the black version of this watch for my boyfriend in duty free when I was coming back from holiday. I'd bought the Venture watch for myself on the way out and loved it, but he wanted a digital rather than analogue. When we opened it, it turned out that the watch we had was faulty and we couldn't set the time - I email Breo customer service who were brilliant and send me a pre-paid postage label to return it and sent us a replacement within just a few days. This worked fine. We were initially impressed with the watch, it's great for when he's out running or swimming on holiday as they're waterproof. However, it was quite a tight fit (even the XL size I got him) and difficult to get on and off. It's been sat in a drawer for a few months as he hasn't needed it, when he want to put it on last night the time was completely wrong and had to be reset - heaven knows why! It's a great price and I suppose you get what you pay for, they're not expensive watches and we shouldn't expect them to last too long, but I would have hoped for more than a few months without a reset!

                Advantages

                Disadvantages

                Not recommended

This watch was bought because it was recommended in a sports magazine and I wanted a watch to wear running/swimming/cycling etc. This watch is ok for that kind of thing as it is really small so doesn't annoy me when doing such activities. However it is highly flawed... Firstly, I can't really wear it for swimming as it is not really waterproof (mine has water in the screen). Secondly, I can hardly read the display in bright sunlight and as it has no light I can't see it in the light either. The numbers are also quite small so they can't be seen with a quick glance (I almost crashed my bike!). It is also not really rugged enough for outdoor sports as the strap is quite flimsy (***mine snapped!***). It has no features (no alarm, stop-clock etc) so I can't time the runs that I go on. It is really hard to change the time on the watch if it goes wrong (you need a pin). The rubber material also irritates my skin The packaging had some stuff on it about tourmaline being precious and good for you which I personally find hard to believe. Despite this I did give it to a girl to wear when she was really grumpy one day and it cheered her up so maybe it does work... Buy this watch if you need a little watch to use in the gym (where you don't have to look where you're going) or you have a grumpy girlfriend. Otherwise I can't really see why anyone would want one. I'd recommend one of those casio's - still under a tenner but miles better.

                Advantages

                Disadvantages

Looks good but terrible in every other way - not worth £10!

Breo are a relatively new brand and their merchandise is mostly of the sporty/fashionable genre. I bought one of these watches a while back and haven't really used it since, after it completely lost track of time a few weeks in. The watch is available in many colours - all very vivid and attractive as well as white and black. There were even some neon colours when I bought mine including ones that glowed in the dark. The watch has a small digital display in which (on a 12 hour scale) the hour is shown above with the minute below. There is nothing even flashing to indicate seconds. You'll also see a Breo logo on the screen between these two numbers. The watch comes in a few sizes as they are meant to simply slip onto your wrist through your hands. If you have big hands, no matter what the size, it's quite difficult to even get the watch on and you feel like you're breaking it. Even by stretching the strap so much, surely you are damaging it in some way. The strap is made of a kind of rubbery material and it does stretch. It sits loosely on your wrist, which is ideal for sports or other activities where you don't want a really tight fit. It lets the skin breathe underneath. You set the watch by using tiny buttons on the back, which are very hard to access and I usually have to use a pen, which then marks the buttons. This is because the buttons are very small and circular so not even a nail can get in there. With the amount of times I had to set the watch, this was getting ridiculous. This was all due to the terrible time keeping of the watch. As far as I remember, the watch lost time and was very behind any other clock. The whole point of any watch at the end of the day is to accurately provide the time. The watch will set you back £10 - £10 that is not worth it! Overall I wouldn't recommend the watch as it simply doesn't tell the time accurately and does have a few other flaws. The only real good thing about the watch is that it looks good from a distance and in pictures online - don't let this fool you into wasting £10. Thanks for reading

                  Advantages

                  Disadvantages

                  Practical

Quite clear from the image above what a Breo watch is. But, I will give you a very quick and brief explanation. Basically, a Breo watch is one made out of rubber. They come in all different shapes sizes and colours which i will go into more detail later in my review. They have a digital LCD screen which is useful but extremely lazy which kind of matches the change in generation. But say no more.... Breo watches are actually very comfy. If you get the right size, you will forget they are even on your wrist. They fit like a bracelet with no buckle etc , they can be pulled on. Very practical. Also, if you are an athletic person or a gymnast or even a swimmer these watches can be worn and still work through thick and thin. The good thing about the material is that even if you do sweat doing exercise, these watches don't smell, they can be wiped easily and quickly without damaging them. You can buy a Breo watch from Amazon for around £10.00 which is not bad at all. There are a few negatives though, I have been told that if worn day in day out, the straps can start to split. Bit this is understandable as they are worn through everything. Also the time seems to change itself quite often. But on the other hand, the time is very easy to set. Just be careful and confirm the time with something or someone else just to make sure! You can get male female and children's Breo watches. They come in 16, 17 or 18cm but I recommend getting one a little bit big because it would be very uncomfortable if it rubbed your skin. The colours these come in are fantastic. Pink, purple, blue, green, white, black, yellow, orange and more! I think these are a great invention and even though they may have a slight negative side, they are £10.00 or even less and you can't really complain at that! Thanks for reading. Holly

                    Advantages

                    Disadvantages

The first watch I've owned in years, time-keeping might not be great but it's a cute watch anyway!

My daughter bought me a Breo Sports Watch for my birthday last month, not to sound ungrateful but I don't wear a watch so I was a bit surprised when I opened my present. Since she bought it with her own money though I've made a real effort to be seem wearing it, mine is a vibrant purple colour which I have to admit looks fab with whatever I wear it with. A Breo Sports Watch, you can't have not seen one. Whether worn by the trendy kids around town, or even spotted on a celeb in an expensive magazine - they were just about everywhere in 2010 and can still be spotted all over the place this year. It's such a basic idea; a lightweight rubber strap with a simple LCD display which is built into the strap itself. I have the ladies version which is 17" but there are two other sizing options available, a 16" childs watch or an 18" strap for the blokey types. Mine is quite loose and sits on my wrist like one of those rubber charity bangles, I have quite slim wrists (unfortunately the same cannot be said for the rest of my body!) so the effect is good although I'd imagine 'chunky' men would have problems with a strap which is only an inch longer than mine. Setting the time is easily done, which is very handy as this watch keeps the worst time ever. Every single day I've had to alter the time as it (bizarrely) loses or gains ten minutes within each twenty-four hour cycle. This isn't as irritating for me as it could be for other people as really I'm the type of person who doesn't particularly need (or want) to know the precise time down to the second, but if you have a busier schedule than me you could well find yourself late for meetings and appointments if you were to rely on the time displayed on the watch. The fact that this watch is rubber makes it very comfortable to wear, admittedly the material can make my wrist a bit sweaty in very warm weather - but, hey, this is England so therefore my wrist doesn't get sweaty too often! I like the fact that the watch face itself is also lightweight so it doesn't cause the watch to spin around on my wrist as I move my arms around, the fact also seems securely fitted inside the rubber strap so I doubt there will be any problems with it coming loose or falling out completely unless I wear it to death - which I doubt I will! I was talking to a friend about my watch yesterday and apparently these Breo watches are prone to splitting on the strap, this hasn't happened to me but I suppose at six weeks old it's early days yet. I was going to mention (until my friend piped up!) that there looks to be little danger of splitting or ripping of the rubber as the watch does appear to be very well constructed, but anyway at under a tenner this is very much a fashion accessory watch (rather than a mega-bucks Gucci one) so if it doesn't stand the test of time you shouldn't be too disappointed. Breo watches are available in a range of colours including green, pink, white and lots more so you should find one to match your style, they also have a couple of different designs to choose from so if you like the thought of a rubbery watch take a look at what they have to offer.

                      Disadvantages

                      don't waste your money!

I got my Breo watch for Christmas and my family also bought my boyfriend one. I know it's a little bit dull having matching watches but we both just loved the design. I was bought a hot pink one and Kevin was bought a blue one. Slightly stereotypical, right? Nevertheless we were thrilled with our gifts and thought that they would be the perfect complement to our active life style. In 2008 The Breo roam was awarded the Good Design award. Breo claim that the sports roam is designed to the highest engineering standards and is a statement of design and quality. Unfortunately for us the Breos did not live up to their promises and we were bitterly disappointed with the poor quality. *Price and availability* The cheapest I have seen the roam watch for is £5.00 from play.com with free delivery but the watch is widely available in shops and online. It is cheap but if you carry on reading you'll see why I think this is a waste of money. There are many 'roam' style watches around and I think even Primark had one of similar style for around £3.00. *Design* The watch comes in three sizes; 16, 17 and 18cm sizes, aimed for children, women and men. I have quite slim wrists and the 17 cm is a little too big, I could probably wear the children's size better; there a little clasp to fasten it so I would not have to squeeze my wrist through the gap. I didn't need to open the clasp for mine and can just slip my wrist in and out. My boyfriend has the 18 cm design. The watches come in 25 different bold and exciting colours and add a little bit of flair to your wrists. The watch face is a very small LCD screen about 10mm x 7mm and set in stretchy silicone band. The whole watch only weighs 9.1 grams so it is perfect for wearing while playing sport or working. The watch is also water resistant for up to ten meters making it extremely versatile. In order to change the date or time there are two very small buttons on the side: 'a' and 'm,' these need pushing in order to set it. The instructions that come with the watch are very helpful but I still struggled! It requires a really sharp pencil or needle to push the button in. This is just an unfortunate consequence of having such a small watch and the designers wanting the watch more streamlined looking; like a bangle. It does take some pressing and the buttons are quite stiff and don't want to be compressed. The movement behind the watch is quartz and you can also set the day and month as an option to view on the screen instead on the time. However flicking from the two involves the use of those very small buttons on the side. You can also just have the screen showing it counting down the seconds if you press the side button again. The Roam watch is made with a material called Tourmaline. Tourmaline is a natural mineral and is believed to be linked to beneficial health effects such as increased concentration, natural detoxification of the body, improved sleep, relaxation and meditation, improved vitality and mood. Wow all this from a funky watch? I have not found the watch has helped much with relaxation or mood because the damn thing cannot keep the right time. How can I be relaxed when all of a sudden the watch sets its self back to 12:00! *My Experiences* My Breo looked fantastic and after overcoming the obstacles of setting the time; I found the watch really comfortable to wear. It was nice having a loose fitting, light watch that looked really stylish. However after a few days of wearing it, it started re-setting itself and the time kept reverting back to 12:00. I got so frustrated with it constantly not working and having to set the time again that I decided to take it back. My second watch lasted me two months before I have given up on it. I looked at my watch one day and thought I was 10 minutes late for work. On checking the time on my phone I realised my watch was fast and so set it back to the right time. A week later I found that it had moved too quickly again and was about 3 minutes fast. Unhappy that my second watch was playing up I asked the retailer why this had happened and apparently this can happen if the watch gets too hot. Bear in mind that I only wear the watch in the UK, have normal body temperature and always take it off for showering, despite it being water resistant; I couldn't understand how I was making it too hot! I asked for a refund and ended up with a store voucher which was better than having a broken watch! My boyfriends watch experienced none of the mechanical faults mine did but after a couple of months the band snapped when he was rock climbing. Whether this was a design fault or he had got it snagged I do not know; but I do know that he won't be replacing it. *Overall* They are cheap, cool looking watches. But what is the point of a watch that can't tell the time! We were both disappointed with our watches. They are really poor quality and badly made and even though they are fairly cheap they are a complete waste of money. I would not recommend this product at all.

I love the design and colors, bought 6 of them. NONE of them ever keeps the right time, they just show whatever the time they want, shocking to call them 'Watch'. I now use them as brace rubber band. What a waste of money. Don't bother with it
