I have had this vacuum for the past six years and it has always done a good job, considering its size.
It was purchased from R & R Electricals in Hove, East Sussex, I got it for £40. I wanted something compact but could do a good job in a small space.
It was easy to assemble once I got it home - this involved attaching the extension and telescopic tubes to the main unit. The instructions provided by the manufacturer were easy to follow.
It is solidly made of hard plastic. The unit body it a dark blue colour and the rest black. Over the years some marks have appeared on the body from general wear and tear but nothing too noticeable.
The power cable is long enough and retracts neatly into the base of the unit. The base also contains two attachment tools: A dusting brush and crevice nozzle. One which has bristles on and is useful for cleaning skirting boards.
The main vacuum nozzle has retractable bristles on which is useful for hard floors and brushing up carpet pile.
It is very easy to slot in new hoover bags and there is an indicator on the unit which reminds you when the bag needs changing. There is a filter that needs cleaning every couple of months.
At 1500w suction is pretty good and the unit is not overly loud. I can still hear the phone ring when I have it on. I have a cat and, although this vacuum does not specify good for pet hair removal, it does a good job at removing fur from carpets.
The vacuum weighs 5.2 kg, so not particulary heavy to lift and easy to move about (two small wheels in base). There is a large handle on the top of the unit which makes it easy to pick up and move.
The dimensions are 42 cm X 28.5cm X 28cm (LxWxH)
I use it in a two bedroom flat so not only is it easy to move around but also does not take up much storage space.
