As my wife threatened to punch me in the mouth for using her reasonably new Samsumg vaccuum cleaner to clean the inside of my car, I knew I had to find an alternative. I've never been impressed by those poxy little vacs that run from the 12V cigarette lighter socket; they seem to blow the dust around more than suck it up! As my car is parked on a driveway, if I use a vacuum outside on the car, it tends to get a bit dirty and gritty, hence my wife's attitude to me using her hoover! So after the prospect of physical violence had died down, I took a trip into town looking for a new unit to use just on the car. The first cleaner I laid eyes on in Tesco was the Daewoo. It seemed sucha good product for the unbeleivably low price of £30 that I didn't bother to look further a field. When I got it home, we tried it around the house first and were both amazed at its suction strength. At one point I wildly swung the nozzle round in excitement and almost pulled the curtains down! The only concern I have is the sturdiness of the construction - it has taken a few knocks and looks a little worse for wear but when you consider I'm not really using it in its intended environment I can't complain. All in all, a crakcing piece of kit that would be ideally suited to the small home/appartment owner.
After living in halls of residence for two years I’ve just moved into a flat with my boyfriend and made the horrifying discovery that carpets don’t clean themselves. What could we do to rid ourselves of the menance of fluff , crumbs and those little bits of round paper that always fall on the floor out of your hole punch gadget? In a moment of divine inspiration, the answer came to us. A hoover! But how could we afford to buy such an item after already paying a scandalous amount in rent and damage deposit and fees to the housing agency? Thankfully the Daewoo came to our rescue. For a mere £30 you too can have a baby hoover which is light, easily portable and has the suction power of a hungry elephant’s trunk. It’s so powerful it nearly manages to drag the carpet up the hose with the rest of the dirt! Like I said, I’m really not the kind of person who normally goes into raptures about domestic appliances but I have to say I was very impressed by this baby. If you too only have a small living space and an even smaller budget, I’d definitely recommend this. And if you buy it from Tesco’s like we did, you’ll get lots of extra Clubcard points!
