The National Geographic Channel is a subscription television network that features documentaries produced by the National Geographic Society. It features some programming similar to that on the Discovery Channel such as nature, science, and history documentaries.
MUTV is an English subscription based television channel, operated by Manchester United F.C. Similar to the YES Network of the New York Yankees in the United States, the channel offers Manchester United fans exclusive interviews with players and staff, full matches, including all Premier League games (broadcast generally at midnight of the day the match was played), live reserve and academy games and 'classic' matches plus footballing news and other themed programming. Trouble is a television station in the UK and Republic of Ireland, owned by Virgin Media Television. It fully replaced The Children's Channel from 4 April 1998, prior to the start of Sky Digital. Trouble has a key demographic of young adults and teenagers, aged between 15-24. The channel shows a lot of American and Australian imports, with only a small margin of programs being British. The channel has had success in recent times, with acquisitions such as My Wife and Kids, One On One, Grounded for Life, Summerland, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, That '70s Show to name a few. It also shows some dramas such as Life As We Know It and The Secret Life of Us.
TV Travel Shop was a British television channel that sold holidays. It launched in 1998, primarily on satellite and cable. In 2000, the channel launched on ONdigital, using capacity from ONrequest 2 (later ITV Select 2), and broadcast 6am-12pm weekdays, and 6am-10am weekends, free to air on channel 44. Its hours were extended in January 2002 to be broadcast from 6am-6pm daily. However, after the fall of ITV Digital, TV Travel Shop made a deal with multiplex operator, SDN, to carry the channel 24 hours a day using the newly freed up capacity. It moved to channel 17 at the launch of Freeview.
