After booking a flight with Hoodaki with a stop over and inclusive hotel room the agents insisted we had all necessary documents, on arrival in Shanghai we found that we didn't and on return found that the agent had contacted us 2 days after we left the UK to organize the hotel. Had to then pay for another hotel. Very disappointing.
I have booked 2 adults and 1 infant last Friday, 7th Sept., and paid the Full amount the same day.(Well the agent took all my card details and agent assured me everything is secured, nothing to worry about) Since everything is all set, I have informed my relatives about the holiday and our plans for Christmas as well as booking me and my husband's annual leave for the busy month of December.
I have been in contact with one of the agents, Rodney, and asked him plenty of times to send me our e-tickets and receipt. He kept on telling me e-tickets are on its way and that I have to wait until last night (Monday, 10 Sept. 2012) and until this morning (11 Sept. 2012). Nothing came until he emailed me this morning, saying our booked flights have been AMMENDED! How can that be possible? That is ridiculous!!! A flight, once it has been booked and paid for, is confirmed. Not unless, the PASSENGERS decided to rebook the flight, which obviously we did not!
I kept on phoning hoodaki as well as insisting that I wanted to speak to their Manager. Finally I was able to speak to the manager after 3-5 hours of waiting! Manager said, upon checking the details, NO FLIGHTS WERE BOOKED/CONFIRMED!!! Meaning, since Friday, I was waiting for NOTHING and completely wasted my time!
Manager came with a resolution that he will give me the original itinerary as discussed but there will be a price DIFFERENCE OF £80 on top of the price agreed. We don't mind the price difference, but with all the hassle and stress of arguing with different agents and the days that were all wasted because all the while no flights have been booked/confirmed as well as the agent, Rodney, who was dealing with our booking, kept on assuring us, that everything is fine and there's nothing to worry about - which was a COMPLETE LIE!
DO NOT EVEN TRY BOOKING WITH HOODAKI. Very rude agent, useless resolution and VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!
THEY WILL come up with a cheap fare, the first time you ring them, but after how many days of chasing for them to send e-tickets and receipt, they will charge you with a different price! COMPLETE LIES!!!

HiI've never been more motivated to write a bad review. This company has absolulely overpowering strong arm sales tactics. They lured me in with the promise of cheap fares and as soon as they had our deposit then turned. I'm now at a point where I am paying far more than I ever intended and I'm told if I don't then I will lose the deposit they already have. It's really upsetting. I wish I had stayed with my normal travel agent. At least I could trust them. My level of trust with Hoodaki - absolutely zero.
I booked tickets through Hoodaki back in January and I've waited until we've come back before writing a review to make sure everything was okay. I read loads of bad reviews before booking and was a bit put off but the price offered was so much cheaper and they were also registered with ATOL so we decided to use them. First of all i spoke to someone called James on the webchat facility online. I must say it did take ages to be connected but once i was he gave me details of flights available on my requested dates. The price he gave was slightly higher than what came up on the website but only by about £20 and it was still far cheaper than anywhere else. We paid £595 for our tickets (Went to Pakistan) where as everywhere else was in the region of £700-£1000 with it being half term. After we had the webchat i told him that we would think about the price and he said to contact him by phone the following day to confirm. We did this and after my hubby had confirmed all of the details we booked with him. We received the e-tickets within 48 hours. We didn't travel until the end of March but when we did there were no issues at all. We came back on 18th April and again everything went smoothly. As soon as we booked, I could track our tickets on the Etihad website (This was the airline we used) and James booked in our meal preferences which also showed. The only thing that I would say is that he told us he had requested our seats but this wasn't done. However, this wasn't a problem as the people at each airport did this for us and made sure we were all sat together (4 of us). All in all, 5 out of 5 and would defo use again. No complaints from us :)
We've had booked our Flights to Thailand for Christmas and New year Period through Hoodaki.com. Rodney had been very helpfull with all our needs from start to end.We hope to continue booking through Hoodaki in the future for all our travel plans.Once again, Many Thanks..
I was worried after seeing these reviews, as I had booked a flight with them(6 persons to Philippines). They did an excent job searching and finding the flights, for a reasonable price. But then went total quiet after I paid the deposit. I had to chase them to pay the balance and again to get the etickets. And by then was very nervious. But the etickets were indeed valid and the everything was totally ok (just got back from the fights). Would I use them again - a cautious yes, or in fact a solid yes now I know they are genuine. They could be amazing if they would just do better and more responsive follow up after you have paid.
worst customer service I have ever experienced. They show false information on their website. If you try to book the ticket they would tell you that cheap ticket is no longer available though even after one day of my call it was showing cheap ticket on their website.Dont trust them.There is no option for 0 star, else I would given it to them.
I would give hooaki NO stars if it would allow me to. This was the worst travel experience of my life, or should I say "lack of travel". We arrived at Heathrow after 24 hours travelling to check in to a flight to Katmandu, only to be informed by the airline that we were not on this flight or any other and that we had booked our tickets through a non registered travel agent based in India and the flight was full, so there we were in Heathrow all packed and no flight. We were never reimburst. Need I say more!
Have just booked a flight to Sydney with Hoodaki on line. Good service, especially the live chat. This is better than a phone-line, which is cost intensive. Sales agent was well informed and gave me good advice. Agent also offered alternative airlines, routings etc, all at diferent prices.E-Ticket arrived immediately after payment received. Great prices and great staff. Will definitely use again.
WHAT A GREAT DEAL!Online search not that great, but you can chat to a member of staff using a message service on the website, its not instant, but lets you do some complicated things and compare some options.Flights held and booking completed by phone and email.Read some really harsh reviews of the company but I have got a great deal and would be very happy to use again or recommend.
To start of with, those searching for cheap airline tickets may come across Hoodaki.com, Wise miser and Benz travels.
Be assured that, they are one and the same company.
However let me get straight to the point. While the prices may be cheap, so is the customer service.
Staff can be abrupt and unhelpful at times. For example, unfortunately I have had to book a flight with them. Once they have received your money, as far as they are concerned you are no longer 'useful'.
I specifically requested the agent to book me seats. Surprise surprise, this was not done. As a consequence I may have to sit right at the end of the aircraft. Talk about infuriating. When I called back to ask them, they made a feeble excuse.
In summary, these sites may be good for prices, but they are horrid for customer service.
It is about time that the UK public stood up against bad service.
