“ Manufacturer: Hasbro / Age: 18 months+ / Type: Race Track „
*Where & How Much* Jake got this for Christmas so I have researched its price and availability. It is currently priced at £17.99 at Argos, with a regular price of £21.99 *Putting It Together* This was very easy, although I did not do it myself. It took my other half just a few minutes to clip the tracks onto the base. A monkey could do it. *What Does It Do?* Essentially it is three brightly coloured tracks, stacked up in a tower, obviously each one higher than the last. There is a red start button which immediately ejects the rubbery squeezable cars from the starting block. It simultaneously makes a 'cool racing sound' honking horns, that sort of thing. So it is a simple racing track, albeit very short. *My Thoughts* This toy is suitable for aged 18+ months. Jake is just a little shy of that and I am quite comfortable for him to play with this attended. I add the attended because there are a couple of 'bit's I am not happy with. The starting blocks on each tower tip up to eject the cars but also come off with just a little tug, which Jake keeps doing. Other than that there are no small parts. The cars are rubbery and squeezy and pose no danger. It is a very repetitive 'game' with really only one feature. Cars on the starting blocks, ready, steady go... red car wins. Jake uses these cars on their own and with other toys. Overall, I don't think this is something that will hold his attention for long and certainly for the time being is something that she requires help with. It would definitely be more suitable for 18+ months as recommended. I do think it is expensive for such limited use and would not recommend this as the most entertaining toy!!
