It took me ages to decide which TV to buy. I looked in the magazines and I finally decided on the Samsung 55ES8000.
Setting the TV up was a pretty simple process, even though I bought the Blu-Ray and sound system to match. It is worth taking the time to customise the set up of the TV, in terms of brightness, if you have a quick look on Google there are some recommended settings that the TV 'Geeks' use that makes the picture and sound even better,
Once set up, the TV looks absolutely stunning - it looks good even when it's turned off! :)
To say there are so many features packed into the TV, using it is actually very simple - I'm not the 'techy-ist' person in the world but I can find my way through the menus without any problems.
The 3D picture is AWESOME! I didn't buy the TV for the 3D feature originally but as sad as it sounds, the missus watches Coronation Street in 3D all the time!
Are there any bad things?
Because the TV is so slim the speakers aren't very good in my opinion so I would recommend that you plum for a surround sound system too but I would say that's about it.
On the whole, a fantastic TV!!!
