I replaced all my mismatched phones in the house with Freestyle 310s. They look good, have small base stations and large buttons, making them easy to use. Setup was easy enough, although it was a pain having to individually program the phonebook on each handset - I'd have thought it should be possible to sync this across all the handsets using the same base station. Call quality is excellent, and range is perfectly acceptable, although it doesn't go as far as I would expect. If I take a handset running from a downstairs base upstairs for example, call quality becomes patchy quite quickly. Caller display feature is useful and works perfectly for me, and the call list is very useful for seeing when you've missed calls, and who from. I've had a slight issue where one handset reset itself randomly, losing all its setup and phonebook data, and another handset which did, for a time, appear to lose its connection to the base station periodically. However, with eight of them in the house, I've had no other problems, and they're a very easy to use and well built cordless phone. It was a painless process to expand the number of handsets too.
I purchased these phones after having so many cheap digital ones. I wanted to invest into some good digital Landline phone's. I chose this product on the basis that they looked nice, they had caller ID, colour display and they looked easy to use. I purchased them from Home Essentials at £45.00. At first I did enjoy using this produvt and found them relly easy to use. I loved the features. But I cant seem to get caller diaply to work. I can also send text messages to a mobile phone or anothre landline using these phones. The range is brillaint too - I have nebre had a problem. The disadvantages are that recenyley the volume on the phone has diminshed, even though the volume's at the highest I still find it hard hearing the persom on the other end - alspo the phone keep turning off and not chargin sufficiently. The phone's were really good, after 1yrs us I would expect them to remain at the same quality - but sadly not.
