=== Reason why I purchased === I was searching the internet when I noticed that Arnold Schwarzenegger had an autobiography coming out, 'Total Recall'. While I was pre-ordering the book, Amazon had suggestions underneath that I may be interested in. As it happens, I was. It was Pumping Iron, a classic film/documentary from 1977 and I had seen the reviews were extremely good, so I ordered that also. === Plot === It gives you a rare insight into the life of a young Arnold Schwarzenegger before he became a regular household name. Arnold has the camera crew following him throughout his immense workout regime, his humours photo-shoots, his life when he is not at the gym and of-course, the Mr.Universe and Mr.Olympia contests. Directors George Butler and Robert Fiore capture the world of competitive body-building on film, but it is Arnold who makes it all seem like such a noble effort. With his natural charm and his single-minded determination, it is easy to see why he became such a star. === Cast === Of-course the film is not just about Arnold. You can expect to see the likes of Lou Ferrigno, Mike Katz, Franco Columbu, Ed Corney, Ken Waller, Serge Nubret and Frank Zane. === Reasons you should purchase === Whether you are an aspiring body-builder or just want to see what made Arnold Schwarzenegger a big hit, you will not be disappointed with this astonishing footage. You get a chance to see that Arnold was always determined to move, from Austria, to America and be a body-builder and once he sets his mind on something, he doesn't let go until he has it. === Price === I bought my copy of Pumping Iron from Amazon for £4.27 and I believe that HMV have it advertised for £7.00.
