I recently bought this for my boyfriend for this years Christmas. A little early I know, but I wanted to get things bought and out of the way. Well maybe I should have waited as he now has his present early.

I bought this from 24studio.co.uk for £74.99 it was supposed to be £99, you will probably be able to buy this cheaper elsewhere, but at studio you do not have to pay straight away, it is more like a catalogue. I did also find that they had pretty quick delivery on this compared to some items, it took just a week from me putting the order in, to it been delivered to the door.

As this was a present for my other half, I let him open the box and fit the speaker up. It did only come in two parts. The big long tower, and then the base. I think he had to screw that in, which must be easy as my other half managed it.

The speaker is ready to use, once the base is attached. All you need to do is to plug it in and its all ready to go. There is an on/off switch at the back, which is good to use, otherwise your tower will just stay on standby all the time.

When you want to play music on this tower it really is simple. You just attach your ipod or iphone to the top of the tower, which has a hole in with a implement that is just like your phone charger, that will keep the phone or ipod also stood upright. This also does work as a charger, as it charges my phone up while the music is still playing.

The speaker is quite basic and does not allow you to play discs on this, it is just for phones and ipods. The top of the speaker is where the only buttons are. You do not have a great selection of buttons to chose from, you have your skip forward and skip back, and then your play/pause button. Also your power on button. But this is all you have. The tower also comes with a remote, which to be fair has more buttons on it that I have found you can even use. It is still just as basic as the buttons on the tower. But at least you do not have to go to the tower each time you want to skip a song. The remote comes with the battery included, but when it does need replacing, its like one that you get in scales, so you can not just buy a replacement from a normal shop.
The quality of sound of the speaker is excellent. On a low volume or a high volume it does not spoil the music in any way, and it does go to quite a high volume too. So you can blast the music out to annoy the neighbours, or just relax and chill listening to your music on a lower level. With great sound either way.

This tower was ideal for me and my partner, as we do not really own any discs, all our music is played on the phone or through the computer. So it was an ideal buy for me, and I did find it more cheaper than a normal Hi-Fi. Mind you some people like a listen to the radio, which this does not have on either. But like I say if you just want to play music through your phone or ipod then I would highly recommend this, as I think it is just brilliant.
