I like the Palmolive range of liquid hand soaps and prefer it to using hand soap bars as it is less messy and a hygienic way to wash ones hand in either the bathroom or the kitchen.
I have tried a wide variety of the soaps that Palmolive have on offer and find them all to be really good at cleansing the hands without drying out the skin.
Presently I have the Aquarium hand soap in my bathroom and love the fish and sea scene which makes the bottle really nice to look at. I often also use the Naturals range and like the Milk and Honey as it has a lovely gentle fragrance and is soft to the skin but a good cleanser.
My hands always feel clean and soft after use of any of the Palmolive ranges.
In the kitchen I use the anti bacterial kitchen hand wash which is also an anti odour soap and I find that my hands are clean and odour free after using this even when I have been chopping veg etc.
The Palmolive range is quite extensive and it is nice to try out different fragrances and the pump bottles that the soap comes in always looks nice in bathroom and kitchen.
The soap lasts for a reasonable time and they are not too expensive to buy. I often find them on offer for a pound in local supermarkets and at the very most I have paid around one pound sixty five.
I would recommend the entire range as there is something to suit everyone and it is a good quality brand with a good range of different products.
There are so many choices when buying hand wash liquid soaps it is hard to choose which one to buy, I buy the bar soap but much prefer the liquid kind as I think it is far less messy than the bars and it does not mess the basins in the bathroom. My wife also prefers the liquid kind too. It is more convenient to use the liquid and I like to keep one in my kitchen as well as my bathroom and so I use quite a lot because I have more than one toilet in my home and I have a lot of grandchildren too and so the cheaper it cost the more money I can save.
This liquid comes in a 300ml transparent plastic bottle and has a pump dispenser, it is easy to push down and place a small amount onto the hands, it is not runny as it is a good texture it is a rich and a very smooth liquid and the quality is very good with this one, it is easy to lather on the hands when a little water is added and it is easy to rinse from the hands to leave them feeling soft and smooth, I would say this one is for all the family.
The one I am reviewing today is the Anti Bacterial one, it has a nice fresh smell but not a clinical one as I thought it would have and it smells quite nice it is a nice blue coloured liquid, I would say like a gel liquid with this one and it is not cheap looking, although I do not always go for the look of a bottle but my wife sometimes likes one that looks nicer. I bought it recently from Tesco for around £1.60 and it is worth the price tag for my liking.
Palmolive are a very well known brand and have been around for many years and I can see why because the quality is very good, this soap comes in a variety of different fragrances and colours and so if you like to match colours to your bathroom, then this soap would be nice to try as the range is quite widely available.
I have tried quite a few of the fragrances and always been happy with them all and I do not have a favourite one but I like the Anti Bacterial one because it removes 99.9% of bacteria from the hands and so it very hygienic for all the family. It is good for my grandchildren because they are always touching things and have dirty hands and children are always placing their fingers in their mouths and so this one removes those germs nicely.
This liquid is a thick consistency and it is not messy when pumped from the dispenser which is easy to press down to release the liquid, only a small amount on the hands is enough to lather and clean them.
I recommend this soap as I think it is suitable for all the family and it lasts a long time and works for all my family members and I think it is worth the price tag and good value for the money.
I rate 5 stars for this one.
Washing the hands is essential for us all to do on a regular basis, especially after using the toilet and it is nice to have a nice bar of soap or liquid soap at hand to use on the bathroom sink.
The one i usually buy is the Floral one as I love the smell and it comes in a 300ml transparent plastic bottle with a pump dispenser to easily just press down and use on the hands and it does not make a mess after use as soap does on the sink.
It has a nice flowery kind of fragrance in my opinion and it smells beautiful and it has a very good lather and rinses off very easily. It looks nice on the sink and in my opinion I love it there more than soap as soap tends to leave scum on the sink top and I just do not like that effect, I prefer it nice and clean and so the bottle type is much better for my liking.
This is a very well known brand and it has been around for many years and there are many nice fragrances of the liquid soap to choose from and I have tried a lot of them but I usually buy this one as I just love the smell.
It is quite a thick liquid and is not runny and it stays on the hands and the texture is nice and soft and it leaves the hands soft too and not too dry.
I bought my last one from Sainsbury's for £1 as it was on special offer at the time but usually they are priced around £1.69, so when I saw the offer I bought 2 as it made sense as it was almost half price and one can be stored until needed. I also buy the lower brands as I find some of them very good quality but when I see this one on offer it is always my first choice.
It does last a long time as only a little is needed at a time and a little does go a long way.
My grandson is just learning to wash his hands and he is only 16 months old and he loves it when I press the pump and it goes onto his hands and he can rub them together, it is always good to teach young children to wash their hands regular from a very small age and these products are ideal for that purpose.
I recommend this product as it is very good quality and has a lovely fragrance.
I give it 5 stars.
Thank you for reading my review.
As a man I typically just pick up and use whichever soap or hand wash my better half has chosen to buy but I do now have a bit of a favourite in the shape of Palmolive Liquid Hand Soap.
I do prefer a dispenser type hand wash because if I have been in the garden or messing about with the car then my good lady wife cannot moan at me for leaving the bar of soap dirty after washing my hands.
This particular Palmolive hand soap comes in a few varieties but my wife tends to buy the anti-bacterial version and it has a nice scent, cleans very well even if hands are very dirty and it does not dry out the skin so for me it is a very good hand soap.
My wife informs me that she buys this hand soap in 300ml bottles for £1.05 from Superdrug, which seems reasonable to me but then the last time I went shopping for soap it was bars of carbolic for about tuppence each so what do I know!
If given a choice or in the unlikely event of being asked my opinion on hand soaps this is always the one that would spring to mind!
As I have mentioned in many of my previous reviews on various soaps, I prefer a liquid anti-bacterial soap to a bar or block of soap.
One of the Liquid soaps I used to use regularly was Palmolive Liquid Hand Soap, I used this regularly until it became hard to find and I replaced it with a different brand.
This liquid hand soap was almost always on offer at 99p per bottle at my local chemist and it smelled lovely and left my hands feeling very clean and soft. I was quite upset when my chemist stopped stocking it and looked for it in other places but to no avail.
The bottles contained 300ml of liquid soap and I always found them to be very long lasting as only a tiny drop was needed to gain a good thick lather that cleaned very well.
There were and I guess still are many varieties of the Palmolive hand soaps and my two favourites were milk and honey and the one simply called original.
The milk and honey had a very sweet smell whereas the original had a sort of hospital clean smell about it, I always found something mildly satisfying about the scent of the original one.
I have once again come across a store selling these but at £1.39 each I will not be buying them for now as I have moved on to another brand I am very happy with and I am only paying 94p a bottle right now.
This is a soap I would recommend to people especially if you can find them on offer as I did for a long time!
I have to say first of all that Dooyoo has put the wrong picture in. There is supposed to be a picture of Palmolive Liquid Hand Soap - Nourishing with Almond Milk.
I first tried this liquid hand wash at a friends house and was struck by the sweet smell which stays on your hands long after you've washed them. I have tried the Palmolive Milk and Honey hand wash and liked that so thought I would buy this and try it for myself.
Palmolive do a large range of liquid hand washes. This one is from the Palmolive Naturals range which includes the milk and honey and also the shea butter. There is also a hypoallergenic liquid soap, aromatherapy range, anti-bacterial range, floral and the aquarium range which has floating sea life creatures and is aimed at children
The hand wash comes in a 300ml bottle and cost me £1.59 from Sainsbury's but once again I bought mine on a buy one get one free offer so worked out at good value at around 80p a bottle.
The hand wash comes in a clear plastic bottle with a large white pump dispenser. The large push down dispenser makes it easy to dispense the soap. On the front of the bottle is a picture of almonds. The bottle states that this is a soap-free formula and it contains mild cleansers and skin conditioners. The Almond milk is said to hydrate the skin and leave it soft.
The soap is a lovely pearly white and fairly thick consistency. It is easy to dispense the soap but a small thin trail of soap tends to leak from the dispenser once you have moved your hand away. This is slightly annoying as it makes the bottle a little messy.
Once I rub the hand wash in my wet hands the sweet smell of almonds is quite obvious. Now I like the smell but I can imagine some people may find this a little too sweet and perhaps sickly.
The hand wash feels quite luxurious to use and my hands feel softer and moisturised after washing. Even half an hour later I can still smell the scent on my hands.
This is another good hand wash from Palmolive. It is good for dry or sensitive skin especially as it has a soap-free formula. It leaves my hands feeling clean, soft and smelling sweet which is what I look for in a liquid hand wash
