Walkers Path to the Hills Shortbread selection comes in an amazing beautiful presentation big tin box with different shapes of shortbread in a variety of lovely shapes. I find this a suitable present for everyone you can think off. Every year I buy a box of Scottish shortbread and I send it across the sea to my parents. I know this probably very common in UK but in other parts of Europe this is something compactly new and it is a very posh present. The box itself because is made of aluminium I believe, is reusable and long lasting after the shortbread has finished. It can be used for anything you want to store from you make-up, tools or even other type of cookies. I keep a box in my house for years to store small items and is still not rusted over the 3 years of use. The shortbread itself it tastes sweet, soft and butter. When I first tried it I expected it to have the constancy of a biscuit, rather hard that is but I was pleasantly surprised to fid it really soft and it just crumbles easily when you bite from it. What I like the most of this box besides the wonderful shortbread that comes with it is also the lovely romantic landscape in the Highlands and the tartan patter surrounding it. Price wise it cost £6.20 for 240 g. It is easily available in supermarkets but if you find troubles finding it like I do sometimes I buy it off the internet directly from the company www.walkersshortbread.com. The service is always excellent but the delivery costs can be too pricey for one small box they charge £ 5.75 but it worth buying more in this case as they have a selection of more tins I have never seen available in any supermarkets.
