      nice change

We love these crinkle cut crisp made by Seabrook. We love strong and spicy food in our house so these crisps were definitely worth a try. I have not seen these crisps available in a multi -pack so I have been buying individual bags. The flavour we tried most recently was mustard flavour. The bag is orange in colour and has the words HOT and Spicy written across the top of the pack. Under that is the usual Seabrook name and the fact that these crisps are Crinkle cut. Each bag contains 53.7g of crisps. There is a nice box on the back of the pack that says 'Why choose Seabrook crisps?' The answers being: They are made from selected ingredients. They are cooked in pure sunflower oil. They are gluten and MSG free. They are suitable for vegetarians and they are lovingly cooked on Yorkshire. Seabrook have been making these crisps for 60 years. The crisps themselves are delicious. They have lovely crinkle edges. This seems to retain more of the flavour. They are very crunchy. The mustard flavour does make them very different to the other normal flavour of crisps. The mustard taste is very nice. They taste like English mustard. They are very strong in taste and the mustard is quite hot. They make your tongue tingle a bit with the heat of the mustard. They really make a nice change and if you like hot things you will enjoy these. The only downside to these crisps is that they do leave a slightly greasy taste in the mouth. They are available in many different flavours. I find these crisps in our local newsagents and they cost 50p a bag. The bags are larger than standard bags of crisps. I look forward to trying the other flavours in the Hot and Spicy range which include Chili, Peking ribs and Japanese horseradish!
