      A lovely fresh cake

Morrisons Chocolate Fresh Cream Sponge - If you like chocolate you will love this..

This cake is freshly made in store for you and can be ordered, and freshly made upon request for a customer.

The cake itself is based on a chocolate sponge cake which is sliced into two halves. On the base, melted chocolate buttons are mixed with thick creamy custard and to make a chocolate custard and then smeared onto the sponge cake base. This is then left. Freshly whipped cream is then piped onto the sponge and choc custard and then the chocolate sponge lid is placed on the top. The whole thing is then lightly dusted in a white coat of icing sugar.

The cake is always displayed in Morrisons 'Cake Shop' area and comes in a clear package. There is a label on the front displaying what the item is.

This cake would serve around 4 people with a large slice of cake.

Normally this cake has a two day shelf life. I.e. if it is made on the Monday it would have to be ate before 12 midnight on the following day , in this case bein Tuesday.

      The cake costs around 1.20.

Overall a lovely fresh cake which could be used for every occasion.

ps this cake also comes in large size for around 2.99
