      Good value and quality bread.

I love bread and I only like the best quality type and although I have tried lots of the lower brands to see if I like them, I always come back to the branded ones as I think they taste much better and are much fresher. This bread is delicious and the texture is perfect, it is nice and soft and it is very easy to swallow, unlike some of the lower brands that tend to be quite bland in taste, but this one is just perfect. It comes in a bright yellow plastic bag wrapper with a pull off tab to open and inside there are nice thick slices of white bread and they are just the right size to toast or just use for sandwiches. When toasted it does what it says on the bag, it toasts on the outside and stays soft and fluffy in the middle, and although some products do not do what it says it does but with this one they have got it just right. I bought this bread for only £1 for 800g of good quality bread, it is a little thicker than the usual thickness of thick bread and it can easily be used in a toaster if the slots are large enough, as some toasters only have small slots and so it can then be used under a grill just as perfectly. Each slice contains only 119 calories, 1.9g sugars, 1.0g fat, 0.2g saturates and 0.6g of salt. There are around 16 slices in each bag, which is a good amount considering the size of the slices. For only £1 I think it is extremely good value for money and for a quality loaf and the manufacturer being Kingsmill I think it is an excellent bargain price. The softness when used in a sandwich makes it taste so much better and I freeze bread and this loaf is just as fresh when I take it out of the freezer, although it is not perfectly fresh as the day I bought it, it is just as good tasting and I highly recommend it for anyone to try it and if you are on a budget, the price is a bargain. I sometimes make bread and butter pudding as I love to use any left over bread and use it to make this dish and the next time I have any left over I am going to make one with this loaf as I am going to continue to buy it for the excellent price. I give it 5 stars. Thank you for reading my review.
