I picked up a pack of these yesterday from Martins newsagents at 1.00 for a pack of 4.
I'd never seen them before and do like to give new things a try. They don't say new on them and I haven't noticed them in supermarkets but maybe they just weren't being promoted right in my face. I have looked on line and see the four major supermarkets do stock them priced
between £1.00 and £1.50.
They were already on here waiting to be reviewed.
I'm sure some of you will have heard of the honey monster that promotes sugar puffs. Well these are the honey monsters monster puffs cereal bars.
A cereal and milk bar that you can have on the go or as a treat.
They have just poured the milk and sugar puffs into a foil pack and allowed to set into a rectangle shape then iced yoghurt flavoured lined pattern on the top.
Not quite but it is sugar puffs and milk.
If you don't know what sugar puffs are they are sugar coated puffed wheat with a honey taste.
The packs are small rectangle shaped and each bar is wrapped in a foil type wrapper. Each wrapper has a different picture or image on it. Either saying Monster puffs or the honey monster himself or a image of just his eyes or hand lol.
These taste very similar to the rice krispie cereal bars you can get but not as chewy.
You can taste the sugar puffs from the sweetness of honey and sugar content, but also can tell they add a few other ingredients into them.
Each 20g bar is 84 calories and they do keep you feeling full for a while unlike chocolate which leaves you wanting for more.
There is also 2.3g of fat but doesn't state sugar content which I'm guessing will be high.
My son seemed to like these but it won't be something I buy often.
They do smell like a bowl of cereal upon opening the pack too.
I am rating these just 4 stars as unsure about the sugar content.
