“ Brand: Cadbury's / Type: Cereal Bars „
What are brunch breaks?
Brunch Breaks are similar to Cadbury's popular and tasty Brunch Bars. they are made from crunchy baked wholegrain slices, containing granola, hazelnuts and raisins, then dipped and drizzled in Cadbury milk chocolate. They are aprox 10cm long, 3.5cm wide and 0.8cm thick. There seems to be less chocolate on them than brunch bars but i find they contain enough to keep it breakfasty rather than a chocolate snack.
I bought a pack of 6 from B&M Bargains on offer for 79p usually 99p but i have noticed them for sale in supermarkets for around £1.99.
Each bar contains 110 Calories (6% of your daily allowance), 6.8g Sugar (8%), Fat 5.1g (7%), Saturates 2.2g (11%) and Salt Trace of (1%).
These are really tasty cereal bars. They are thinner and a lot more crunchier than brunch bars, which I find more chewy. They did keep me going until my mid lunch snack and are also a great treat to dunk into your tea or coffee. I wouldn't eat these everyday, but as part of a balanced diet with cereals, toast or fruit. They come individually wrapped so they are great to grab and go. I would buy these again especially if they are so cheap. My only issues is thats there wasn't many raisins and the hazelnut doesn't taste strong, I believe this is due to the large granola nuggets. I think these bars aren't the healthiest but they are ok if eaten with a balanced diet.
