Bacon And Eggs.... But Without All The Fat!!!

I love munchy stuff like this so got a pack of these Egg And Bacon Bites when they was on special offer in Tesco last week. I think they was about 99p and that's good value because Bowyers is a good brand. You get 12 mini scotch egg type things. The difference is that these have got mashed egg inside them instead of a whole one, the egg has been mixed with little pieces of bacon and that gives them a yummy taste and texture. The sausage meat is delish, it's a bit peppery with a lovely meaty taste. There's a good bit of filling inside each Bite, it doesn't completely fill them up but at least when you shake them you can't hear the ball of filling rattling round like you can with some of the cheaper ones. They're a bit dry to eat but all these are and actually I think these aren't AS dry as other brands. I usually put a bit of bbq sauce on the side to dip them in because this sort of thing makes me cough sometimes because of how dry they are when you eat them. I love the flavour of the bacon and egg, there isn't a massive amount of bacon in the filling but the flavour is quite strong and that gives them a yummy smokey taste that makes these Bites taste completely different to other brands. They have put just the right amount of sausage meat on the Bites and the breadcrumbs are wicked too because they are quite thin on the Bites but have got a nice moist texture..... not like some I got from Morrisons the other week where I felt like I was going to choke because of how dry the breadcrumbs was! These are brill quality and I think they're wicked to keep in the fridge for a snack, they'd go good as party food as well but I reckon that might work out expensive because you only get 12 in a pack and I think the full price will be getting on for £2.00 so a dear way to buy them. Recommended.... delish and meaty with a proper nice flavour!!!
