Chocolate Chip Cookie must be the nicest Biscuits out there, apart from some Chocolate ones. They are just so sweet and crumbly, and just the ideal kind of Biscuit for me. We have had Supermarket own brand Chocolate Chip Cookies lots of times, as we don't just stick to the brand named one, and I have to say they are good biscuits. These cost 52p for the 300g pack. The pack looks alright. It is a nice enough blue colour with the writing in white and a picture of a few Biscuits on the pack. Never counted how many you get in a pack, but would say it is around the 17 mark. Not bad for the price anyway. These are a decent size. They are circular like how Cookies are. The are a golden brown colour and have a good enough smattering of Chocolate Chips through them. The Chips are quite small, and sit on top of the Cookie and also through them as well. They are sweet and that bit crumbly but with a crunchy texture to them as well. Each Cookie has 54 calories, and it is easy to eat half the packet, as they are so nice. A recommended Chocolate Chip Cookie. Yes, perhaps not quite as rich, or that as a brand named one, but good all the same, and although a couple of more Chocolate Chips wouldn't have hurt, these are nice how they are.

Biscuits are my downfall. I can eat a whole packet and although I like Chocolate Bars, I am not that fussed about eating loads of Chocolate, but give me little Chocolate Biscuits or Cookies anyday and I will eat them all! I like the Maryland Cookies and sometimes I also buy the larger more fancy premium brand Cookies, but I thought i'd try these ones. After all theya re that bit cheaper and could end up saving a bit of money for me, which is always good. These cost 52p for the pack, which I think was 300g. The pack looked alright. It is blue and there is a few pictures of the Chocolate Chip Cookies on the front. It looks bright enough and stands out next to the red packaging of the other brands in Asda. You get a fair amount in the pack. Didn't count them before I decided to tuck in, but would say you get about 16 in here at a rought guess. These are the normal round shape. They aren't too thick but thick enough. Just the same thickness as all the other ones i've tried. They are a golden brown colour and there was a decent smattering of little Chocolate chips through these. I wouldn't have said no to the odd few more in here, but they were nice enough how they were. The Chocolate was Milky enough, but you knew it wsn't made from Cadbury's or a brand named Milky taste. The Chips were a slight bit bitter, but in a nice way and the Cookie tasted a bit salted but a nice crumbly Biscuit. Each biscuit has 48 calories. I thought these were nice. They were a bit cheaper than the brand name, and the quality seemed just nearly as good. I will be buying these again.

a must for any cookie lover

Chocolate chip cookies are a big favourite in our house, I am currently trying to buy more of the supermarkets own brand products rather than then name brand so Asda Chocolate Chip Cookies is the product i'm reviewing. The packaging is different to the one shown above Asda must have changed it recently. It is a bright purple with the Asda name and obviously the product name chocolate chip cookies, it also says they are classic crunchy munchers, crammed with chocolate. The package also shows the ingrediants, nutritional value, storage instructions, allergy advice and the asda product gurantee with the customer service number and website address. The pack weighs 250g and contains 24 biscuits. The cost 54p which I think is great value. The cookie is average size with a smooth bottom and rough top same as with similar products. When you bite into the cookie it is lovely and crunchy, slightly crumbly in texture, the cookie itself is very creamy, smooth tasting, fairly sweet and is packed with plain chocolate chips. The chocolate chips balance out the sweetness of the biscuit as they are not overly sweet or sickly. They are also great for dunking in your coffee as they don't fall apart. Overall i'm extremely impressed with the quality and taste of this product and is definatley a must for my biscuit tin.
