A fantastic phone which rivals the mighty iPhone

Being an avid iPhone owner since the dawn of apple, i never looked anywhere else when it came to upgrading my phone, however i found myself browsing the array of different phones after owning the iPhone 4. In the space of a year my iPhone required replacement over 10 times and I'd had enough. So browsing the aisles I found HTC to be a reliable brand and this was there latest and most eye-catching phone so I signed up and got it, ever since I have been pleasantly surprised and pleased.
It has everything you could ask for as a phone, great messaging, e-mail, internet, an amazing camera and the addition of the android apps available, making the transition from the iPhone that bit easier.

      Appearance
Its a sturdy brick phone with a large bright screen which features a new type of glass to aid in scratch resistancy- not a single scratch yet (: Its 4.7 inch screen is big enough to get the most from this phone but not too big to make it uncomfortable to hold or slip into my jeans pocket (just about) unlike its cousin the Galaxy Note, which is far too big. In a cool grey colour, it doesnt scream look at me but stays classy and smart enough to be appealing. Overall, a very attractive phone for people of all stereotypes.

      Performance
Just as it has been advertised, its performance is one of the best I have seen for an android phone, fast and effective at all angles. For messaging and e-mail, it surpases the iPhone for me as i find it faster and easier to edit and send messages in any format, its multiple screens also allows for quick look/updates on my messages at a glance. App wise it's on par with other androids and even the iPhone as the play store allows you easy download of a various assortment of games and helpful apps. This download is fast and can be done at a click of a button, not all this fuss of connecting to iTunes. Although you don't have to constantly sync the phone to your iTunes account, i found that i missed the music side of the iPhone as downloading music onto this phone is a little tedious- play store have created an app which easier (aka more like iTunes) connection, Doubletwist.
The touch screen is very well made too- still as responsive and fast as when i bought it. Basically it's performance is up there with the best makes of phone and really enhance the overall experience.

      Camera
Not much needs to be said about the camera as it is great- simply great. Capturing fantastic pictures fast and at the click of a button is what this phone excells in- no rubbish quaility iPhone snaps here- pictures that rival those captured on my own proffesional camera- overall a great addition to this already fantastic phone.

Basically I've been converted, an iPhone lover has been transformed by this phone and Im not going back (:
      A great phone. Simple
