Would only recommend if your desperate for a phone

I will personally review the HTC Mteor here for you. The HTC Mteor is a windows based mobile phone and does support 3G unlike other similar models or competitors.
The Mteor has a joypad which works well and allows you to navigate the mobile comfortably and with good responses too.

The Mteor is thinner and slightly taller than other windows smart phones and comes in at 112 x 49 x 15 mm and 120g.
      It boasts the following:

      2G Network GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900
      3G Network UMTS 2100
      Dimensions: 112.4 x 49 x 14.8 mm
      Weight: 120 g

Size is great and fits in pockets nicely although because there is no cover over the buttons it is so easy for the buttons to be accidently pressed whilst in the pocket.
      Type TFT, 65K colors
      Size 240 x 320 pixels, 2.2 inches, 34 x 45 mm
      - 5-way navigation button

Display is nice and bright and of a good size
Alert types Vibration; Downloadable polyphonic, MP3 ringtones, composer

I found that the battery life was rubbish on this phone and a full charge would only allow a maximum of 24 hours standby and if used probably a maximum of 2 hours. It also lacks a front facing camera so no good for video calling and connecting it to the internet was a total nightmare - Even my network provider couldn't get it to connect for me. It also doesn't have Wi-Fi which is a very big down side.

Anyway, If you can get this phone cheap then it's worth a try but I wouldn't recommend paying loads for.
