Would only recommend if your desperate for a phone

I will personally review the HTC Mteor here for you. The HTC Mteor is a windows based mobile phone and does support 3G unlike other similar models or competitors. The Mteor has a joypad which works well and allows you to navigate the mobile comfortably and with good responses too. The Mteor is thinner and slightly taller than other windows smart phones and comes in at 112 x 49 x 15 mm and 120g. It boasts the following: GENERAL 2G Network GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900 3G Network UMTS 2100 SIZE Dimensions: 112.4 x 49 x 14.8 mm Weight: 120 g Size is great and fits in pockets nicely although because there is no cover over the buttons it is so easy for the buttons to be accidently pressed whilst in the pocket. DISPLAY Type TFT, 65K colors Size 240 x 320 pixels, 2.2 inches, 34 x 45 mm - 5-way navigation button Display is nice and bright and of a good size SOUND Alert types Vibration; Downloadable polyphonic, MP3 ringtones, composer Speakerphone: Yes Sound is good and has a good volume on it - The speakerphone also works well MEMORY Phonebook holds Practically unlimited entries and fields, Photocall Call records Practically unlimited Internal 64 MB RAM, 128 MB ROM Card slot microSD The phonebook on this phone allows you to hold practically unlimited entries and allows you to store the following: First Name: Last Name: Work Phone: Mobile Phone: Home Phone: Custom Ring Tone: Picture: Email: IM: Work 2 Phone: Home 2 Phone: Company Phone: Categories: Pager: Car Phone: Work Fax: Home Fax: Assistant Phone: Radio Phone: Email 2 Email 3: IM 2: IM 3: Web Page: Company: Department: Job Title: Office Location: Street: City: State / Province: Zip / Postcode: Country / Region: Home Address: Street: City: State / Province: Zip / Postcode: Country / Region: Other Address: Street: City: State / Province: Zip / Postcode: Country / Region: Notes: Nickname: Birthday: Anniversary: Manager: Government ID: Account Name: Customer ID: Spouse: Children: Assistant: As you can see from all the above - This is one of the best contacts list I have ever had on any of my phones although there are some sections which I wouldn't use and don't know what benefit they have like the Government ID section etc. DATA GPRS Class 10 (4 1/3 2 slots), 32 - 48 kbps EDGE Class 10, 236.8 kbps 3G: Yes, 384 kbps Bluetooth: Yes Infrared port: Yes USB: Yes CAMERA Primary 1.3 MP, 1280x1024 pixels Video: Yes FEATURES OS Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 Smartphone CPU Samsung 2442 300 MHz processor Messaging SMS, MMS, Email, Instant Messaging Browser WAP 2.0/xHTML, HTML (PocketIE) Games: Yes Java: Yes, MIDP 2.0 - MP3/AAC player - T9 - Organizer I found that the battery life was rubbish on this phone and a full charge would only allow a maximum of 24 hours standby and if used probably a maximum of 2 hours. It also lacks a front facing camera so no good for video calling and connecting it to the internet was a total nightmare - Even my network provider couldn't get it to connect for me. It also doesn't have Wi-Fi which is a very big down side. Anyway, If you can get this phone cheap then it's worth a try but I wouldn't recommend paying loads for.
