I bought this phone in July 2012 and by April the jack no longer worked, I took it for repair, and the jack broke again within 1 day. I took it to repair again and the jack was fine but the WiFi no longer worked. I took it back again and I was given a new phone.. the first time I plugged in the HTC earphones (during a flight) the jack on the new phone broke too.I really like this phone but it has spend more time being repaired than in my hands. I think they may have to do a recall on this phone due to problems with the jack connection.
I have had this phone for several months now, and well it is amazing! It runs the latest Android( ice cream sandwich 4.0)- which is very smooth and good. It has access to Play store, which is as good if not better than apples famous app store. The phones 3D allows you to see videos, pics and play games in stunning 3d, which is clear and does not hurt eyes. The camera takes quickly very fine and good quality pictures, with great clarity and good colour richment. The phone has a fast processor which allows you to have incredibly fast gaming, app swithcing and more. The phones also has many other amazing and good features. The screen is quality and a good size, the sound is very impressive and the dedicated photo button gives the phone picture taking expericene. I would highly recommed this phones, especially for its price since it is cheaper and better than the iphones- and since it is a HTC it has great social netowrking intigration! After having my HTC Evo 3D - on T-Mobile for a few weeks, I feel that it is good that I write a review about this phone. My phone runs on the Android operating system, which is full of unique features and applications or 'apps' - these apps are really easy to download on this phone. In less than a few clicks; you can get the app. So much simpler that my T-Mobile Pulse mini! In addition; what I really like about having a HTC is the free customer service, which is something that is unique and that it is really easy to get in touch with them, in comparison to Apple and other operators. In addition; HTC sense and HTC hotspots are really good, as I can use my mobile phones unlimited Internet, on my computer, using it's wireless hot-spot - rather than USB tethering. However, the real thing that makes this phone unique is the three camera (two on the back on the handset and one 'USB style' camera on the front'. The 2D picture is great; but the 3D picture is more of a gimmick that a real 3D picture. The worst thing of this phone, is it's battery life, which is around 2-3 hours of full use or a day. I plug it in at work- to recharge during the day. In addition, it does cut out (the screen) momentarily, when making calls, but only for around 2-3 seconds. However, it is a good phone at a good price and a worthy buy.
