      sturdy hiking boots by Trespass

I am not a big outdoorsy person but on my holiday I was going on a tour which involved some hiking. I had never dreamed of the day I would buy hiking boots but when I got into the Trespass store I was actually quite excited about buying them. They were a lot better looking than I thought they would be and they had a good range of styles. I know hiking boots can be extortionate in price but I was shocked at the sale prices in this store and had my eye on a purple tinted pair that looked right for me.

These boots are a dark charcoal colour but they have purple thread and lining as well as hints of it all over the shoe. On the front of the shoe they have the Trespass logo on a thick rubber badge and up the shoe there are the laces and clips going right up. These have a very thick rubber sole with a lot of grips on them and are fully lined inside. These are a tough looking boot and have suede accents as well as strong laces. Overall, they look girly but at the same time like a real hiking boot and I like that balance.

So, when buying these I tried them on, I was given some Trespass socks to try on with these as it is recommended you wear good thick socks or these will rub. I noticed a big difference wearing the hiking socks as they almost cushion your foot out so that the shoes feel comfortable on. With these socks on, the boots feel great and once tied on properly, they stay in place perfectly and give a lot of support which is just what I wanted, a great snug fit but still with some movement.

Lacing these up can be quite complex but once done you shouldn't have to do it again unless washing the laces. These have charcoal and purple laces and each lace has a black plastic ring to hold it in place and if you want to fasten right up to the top of the tongue then you can on the little side hooks. Once these shoes are on, they are very comfortable, so much so that you sometimes forget you are wearing them. I have worn these for a lot of outdoor hiking activities and each time feel nothing but comfort.

When wearing these, I have used them on most outdoor surfaces and with such a deep grove sole, the boots grip so well to most surfaces causing a very secure boot to hike in. These grip onto gravel, mud, grass and just give that bit more confidence that you will not slip./ The soles do not wear easily which shows how good the quality of the sole is as these do keep well. The shoes are so easy to clean with it being a sort of rubber like sole as you just wipe them and they keep perfect.

These boots are water resistant and breathable and even when wearing these in hot climates I didn't feel like my feet were too hot. I would highly recommend these to any keen hiker or even just anyone who want some quality boots for walking around in. These are a good brand and they feel great on, perfect fit and comfortable and they grip on well to walking surfaces. I find these easy to wear and they do a great job, I really couldn't expect anymore from a hiking boot.

These boots are available online or in Trespass stores and the charcoal/purple colour, also known as Flint are currently on sale for £24.99 in sizes 36 through to 41.
