“ Brand: Iron Fist / Type: Flats „
Being a very big shoe lover and an even bigger fan of Iron Fish shoe's I like to buy the majority of the heels they have for sale, but sometime's a girl just needs a rest.
These zombie stomper flats are perfect for changing over from your zombie stomper heels on a night out, they still go with your outfit and you still look and feel fantastic as well as giving your feet a well earned rest,
These and other iron fist flats are moderately priced depending where you buy them from they can be anything between £30-£50, these are beautiful shoe's, they're not hard on your feet so won't or shouldn't give you blisters at all, perfect for the different quirky look to your outfit and certainly make your feet stand out if your wearing black with them.
Out of all the Iron Fist flats range these would be my recommended pair!
About Iron Fist:
Started in 2001 by two friends in San Diego, perfect for people who like something a little different which is kind of like me, I hate anything that conforms to looking like a shop dummy. It has a mixture of street art, tattoo and punk it's definitely what I would call different.
Zombie Stomper Flats:
Where originality goes you cannot get more original than a ravenous zombie baring it's teeth stuck onto a rather adorable pair of pumps complete with cute bow on the side to give it a cool almost girly look. In terms of comfort these are the best shoes I have ever had they fit like gloves and I've never once had blisters. I loved them so much I even went and bought a second pair with a different pattern.
They range from about £25 to £30 which for a pump can seem a bit pricey but to me I find that they a good value for money and worth every penny. They are great quality and the material is soft but strong and as of yet the pattern hasn't faded or gone dull in colour and the bow is still intact, they have also lasted quite long as well as I bought them last year and they are still going strong.
Although I have to admit I will be purchasing a new pair this year, you know, to keep up with the trends.
I am a shoe lover, to the point where I have more shoes that I could ever really need, yet I still keep on buying more! I have a whole different choice and range of shoes, made by many different companies and designers, including Iron Fist.
One of my Iron Fist pairs of shoes is the Zombie Stomper Flats. These are the same sort of shoes as a dolly shoe, with a rounded toe end. They are printed with a cool, green zombie face print, which has been designed as Iron Fists version of a cartoon zombie. There is also bits of purple on the shoes, and a little bow on the head of the "zombie". I think the bow is quite a cute little touch, but I didn't actually realise it was there for a little while, it was my partner who pointed it out one day.
I do not usually wear flat shoes unless they are trainers, so I was a bit dubious to buy this pair, but I had not long come out of knee surgery and needed some flats to add to my collection. I found that these shoes are actually really comfortable and easy to walk in. I have found many dolly shoes to be quite a pain to wear, due to rubbing on the sides of my feet and the back of my heel, but these have never caused me a problem, even when wearing them on barefeet.
I have had no problems with them slipping or rubbing, never had any pinching problems and they stay perfectly in place on my feet, so there is no slipping around and causing problems. I think this shoes a sign of a well made, quality shoe. I also think they quality is shown in the way that these shoes are made, the design is proper made into the shape of the shoe, and not an after thought to go on to a random shoe that they could find. The inner sole of the shoes is slightly squishy, so your feet are comfortable inside the shoes, even when walking a long way, but firm enough to give you a good amount of support.
The under sole is made from a nice tough material, and is quite thick, so you do not feel like you are just walking on bare feet, like I have found from some cheaper flat shoes over the years. I have also found these shoes to be easy to clean. They just wipe over with a slightly damp cloth, and this brings them back to their natural beauty. Never have I seen a scuff on these, and I am not the most elegant or gentle of walkers.
Iron Fist are not known to be cheap to buy, and these shoes will cost you around £40 if you buy them from Iron Fist directly, or from Schuh stores ( or their website ) but there is a few other places that sell them for better prices. You may be able to find a pair on eBay for a good price, but I actually bought mine from Amazon for £27, which is a great saving, and makes these shoes even better value for the money.
I have owned my pair for over a year now, and they still look like they are brand new, except for the marks on the under sole which shows a slight sign of wear. I do wear these quite a lot, so I am pleased with the way they still look. If you like the design of the pattern on these shoes, but you are not too keen on wearing flats, I have seen these as high heels, and I believe they are still available for sale.
I give these shoes a 5 out of 5 and I totally recommend them to everyone.
Ok, so I will confess now, I am a big fan of iron fist shoes- with a rather large collection of them.
I bought these shoes, along with the rest of my iron fist collection for a few reasons:
1. They are completely unique- I have not seen shoes like these anywhere else and I have never seen anyone else walking around in these shoes at the same time as me. So, if you want something to wear shoes that you are very unlikely to see anyone else in, these are the ones for you!
2. The zombie stomper flats are in a vivid, lime green colour, with zombie teeth and brain with a cute bow at the side. They are perfect for jazzing up an otherwise dull and plain outfit.
3. I also own the zombie stomper platformed heels. Having the flat version as well allows me to carry them around in my bag in case my feet cant cope with being in heels anymore- handy on a night out, without having to compromise the individuality of your outfit.
4. Comfort- these shoes are very comfortable and didnt need any wearing in.
5. Easy to clean- the finish of the shoe is a kind of shiny vinyl, they are easily wipe clean so the pattern isn't ruined.
However, I would not say these shoes are cheap- They originially retailed at around £25, which I think is quite a lot of money for a pair of flat shoes. However, they were in the sales at around £15 at the end of 2010 and into the beginning of this year, which I think is more reasonable.
Overall, I love these shoes- I love the brand. They are fantastic for making a statement and brightening up your outfit, even it is in a slightly morbid, zombie kind of way
I'm really not a heels girl when it comes to shoes. I should be, as I'm a mere 5'1 tall, but I find it impossible to walk in heels and keep my balance at the same time. Due to this, I live in flat shoes every day of my life (really, I *must* learn to walk in heels) and this means that I require a wonderful array of flat shoes to keep my feets looking super swell and swish. Really, it does. It's a girl thing. When I came across these 'Iron Fist Zombie Stomper Flats' it was love at first sight. What sort of horror movie loving girl would I be if I turned down the opportunity to wear zombies on my feet? Pfft! It's time to turn up the scare factor and grab yourself a pair of flats that are to die for. These are for all you ladies out there that love a bit of gorey glamour!
The Iron Fist brand was born from a love of art, music, street culture and all things alternative by two friends in America. Since its beginning in 2001, Iron Fist had grown in size and popularity with all those out there that love something a little different, alternative and edgy. The Iron Fist company has gone from selling merchandise out of the back of a car to now being sold worldwide in all kinds of independant and chain stores, boutiques, online and in their own flagship stores. Iron Fist produces a range of clothing, shoes and accessories for men, women and children alike. If you dare to be that little bit different, check them out at www.ironfistclothing.com.
These 'Iron Fist Zombie Stomper Flats' can be purchased through Iron Fist direct, or from a selection of shoe stores and online webstores. Selected high street shoe stores here in the UK stock a small selection of Iron Fist shoes, the largest and most wide spread being Schuh. I purchased my 'Iron Fist Zombie Stomper Flats' from a physical Schuh high street store, but these flats are also available through their online store too!
As far as awesome branded flats go, these are an absolute steal! These 'Iron Fist Zombie Stomper Flats' are priced with an RRP of £24.99 but are currently slashed in price in Schuh stores and retailing at £14.99. Definitely a bargain that is hard to resist!
These 'Iron Fist Zombie Stomper Flats' are definitely one of a kind, and I can hand on heart say I've never seen anything like them out there on the shoe market. The shoes are based on a zombie theme, featuring a wonderfully frightful bright and attention seeking colour scheme and a design that could kill! These shoes are designed to make up the face of a zombie, with the bright green and black colours of the shoe detailing the dehydrated, aged skin of th zombie. The crooked white jagged teeth adorning the toe of the shoe look superb and really bring a much needed contrast against the green background. The outer side of the shoes features a bulging white eyeball with a black staring pupil at its center. A small and black bow is to be found stitched towards the back of the shoe sides, adding a touch of femininity to these shoes. The inner side of these 'Iron Fist Zombie Stomper Flats' is again mostly green and black in pattern, but also features a gorey pink brain print. After all, what sort of zombie shoes would they be without braaaaaaaainnns?
The colour scheme used on these 'Iron Fist Zombie Stomper Flats' is one that brings me great joy. A wonderfully lurid, almost neon lime green colour makes up the majority of the shoe design, causing the eye to instantly be drawn to them. Deep black markings throughout the shoe break up the green a little, and the bright white of the teeth adorning the front of the shoe and the eyeball at the side of the shoe makes the design all the more eye catching. The inner sides of the shoe feature a wonderfully gorey and bright brain pink colour which adds to the over all horribly glamorous, eye catching effect of the shoes colour scheme.
The upper section of these shoes is made from a faux leather type material. The man-made upper is soft to the touch and easily squished meaning that from the moment your precious toes slip into these pumps they will remain blister free! The softness of the material used on these shoes means they mould to your feet much quicker than other shoes and are instantaniously comfortable to wear.
The sole to these 'Iron Fist Zombie Stomper Flats' is made from a slimline rubber type material. The sole isn't generously thick, but is substantial enough to avoid feeling every lump and bump beneath the feet as you walk. The upper part of the shoe is stitched right through to the bottom of the sole with a matching lurid green thread which shows up brightly vivid against the black rubber of the sole. I can't believe that these 'Iron Fist Zombie Stomper Flats' will last forever, as I believe the sole will wear out over time, however I do think they are worth every penny of their bargain price and deserve to be well loved through wear right through to their demise!
The inner sole of these 'Iron Fist Zombie Stomper Flats' carries the outer design theme right through to the complete inner of the shoe. The green and black swirling zombie flesh design is printed throughout the entire inside of the shoe, with the Iron Fist label being stitched into the inner sole. For me, the inner sole is pretty basic and adds no sort of extra comfort to the wearing of the shoe. The printed inner sole is flat with no cushioning, but this does not detract away from the overall look and feel during wear of the shoe. It would have been nice to feel a slight bit of under foot cushioning, but for £15 I really shouldn't be asking for such luxury from a designer label shoe that hasn't cost me the earth!
In my opinion these 'Iron Fist Zombie Stomper Flats' are not only a superb bargain, but a superbly eye-catching and interesting pair of shoes. It's not often you come across a super awesome design in a high street store, and these 'Iron Fist Zombie Stomper Flats' speak to every inch of my horror movie loving soul. There's something about their lurid green and gorey brain pink colouring that draws the eye straight to them, and they are more than willing to act as a conversation starter. I can guarentee that you will recieve a hell of a lot of compliments, questions and smiles from passers by when wearing these flats. For anyone out there that enjoys being different, loves alternative fashion or simple has a soft spot for everything zombie - these 'Iron Fist Zombie Stomper Flats' are for you! Add a bit of super charged, vibrant gore to your daily glamour and stand out in a crowd. As for all the horrified parents out there - I'm pretty sure your super scene, emo, freak of a child would love to recieve these in their stocking this Christmas in place of a satsuma and a handful of unshelled nuts! Now go on, purchase these gorgeous horror flats and feet your inner (or outer) zombie! Mmmmm, braaaaaaaaainnns.
