Rude service, wobbly tables, poor, poor food and expensive to boot. The tomato sauce on one dish starter dish looked and tasted like some nasty industrial glutenous gloop. The spaghetti bolognese was obviously loaded with salt. All this and they charge over the top for it, even for measly bread and slap 10% on top for the terrible service. This venue should really get it's act together, I've worked nearby for 2 years and I wouldn't touch it any more. This is not a rant, it's just that there are so so so many other places nearby that are much much better and for less.
I hestitate to recommend this, unless it becomes so busy I can no longer wander in on a week night and find a seat! A small italian-run restaurant in Soho, it serves proper italian food in a relaxed (albeit a little cramped!) setting. Not a place for those who want muzak-supplied conformity, the food is plentiful and cheap, and tasty with it. Wine is reasonable as well, and booking not necessary. Makes a change from the surrounding processed pasta places, a genuine family run enterprise.
