      Wont be going here again!

One thing we are are not short of here in Weston Super Mare is places to get fish and chips and at good prices. This little place (a bit like a shack) has been here years and situated almost opposite Weston Pier and overlooking the seafront so gets a fair bit of trade.

Not so long back me nd my mate fancied a quick bite to eat and me knowing that the other local place that did fish and chips had skin on the fish which Im not keen on decided to get food from here. I dont know what made me get food from here to be honest as i had eaten here before and wasnt keen.

Basically this place is what it is..... a takeaway. There are some wooden benches next to it but there are plenty of places to go sit along the sea front.

The menu isnt extensive. Mainly its fish and chips at £3.80 and most other things with chips such as sausage and chicken nuggets is abour £2.90. As far as I can see there are no kiddies options sauces cost 20p and a can of pop about 80p a can and teas and coffees a pound each.

The problem with this place is nothing is ready cooked so on average you find yourself waiting about 15 minutes and when food does come its served in large yellow style foam box and its fresh and very very hot.

The last time I ate here I had the fish and chips of course. I have no idea what the fish was but it was large, nicely battered and I watched the lady batter it (not literally of course lol) and the chips.... well they were awful..frozen and dry to the taste. My mate had gone to the other takeaway to get her fish and chips and her chips were proper and she ended up sharing them with me!

Like I said this isnt the first time I been caught out here and I have had chips and sausage from here way about aabout 3 years ago and it wasnt until I tucked into my latest meal I realised that or I wouldnt have bothered!

Basically the food isnt very nice and the service is really slow. Prices are decent and that will always pull the crowds in. There is always one or two staff in there which arnt very pleasant really and dont even look up at you and for me this is the worst chippy on the sea front and one to avoid unless you want Asda Smart Price Chips!

Not for me we have far better!
