Ok, this is a quick one, so no mucking about at the back there. Who would go: (a) You want a cheap all you can eat blow out (b) You are with a large group of people, generally from work, and this is the only place you can go cos there is always some irritating w****r who doesn't like garlic (c) You are a 15 year old girl with a group of other 15 year old girls out for some-ones birthday. (d) You like quite bland meat. (e) You are going to the nearby Tyne theatre afterwards. What you would see when you got there: The theme of the place is Tex/Mex, there are cowboy-related objects on the wall like whips, leather chaps and such like. (Hang on, this is all a bit "hard-core" for the 15 year-old girls?....) You can get a la carte stuff from the menu like steaks, and other meat related produce, but everyone is really here for the all-you-can-eat. The price varies depending on what time you arrive, but from memory is about £5? What you would eat: There is the usual meat-produce that you can keep under warm-lights such as sausages, burgers and chilli. Chicken wings put in a not-unexpected appearence, as does a vegi-chilli for the laydees. There is plenty salad for when you are tired of picking meat fibres from between your teeth. Why go? The place often has families, children etc. so BE WARNED! This can obviously be a good thing as well if you happen to own/be a child. The ambience is relaxed, its not a posh noshery, more of a filling station. I can think of other, much better all-you-can-eats in Newcastle such as Charlies or King Lau's on Stowell street , but these are Chinese and so if you fit into category (b) above you may prefer this place.
