A great pub with exquisite food and cosy interior

I really like the three tuns in bransgore, dorset. Im not a regular as its a little to far for me but when I do go which is several times a year I am always welcomed with beautiful drinks, great food and a comforting homely country pub interior. The three tuns is based only a couple of minutes drive from the start of burley, new forest national park and by sitting just outside of the forest is a great place to have a lunch before a long walk in the there. You wont get any wild ponies roaming through the garden at this pub as its slightly outside the boundary of the forest but its totally countrified and with a thatched roof, you cant beat the oldy worldy feel. The food is a little pricier than other pub/restaurants but is exquisite and is well worth a visit, being award winning in fact and in my opinion five star quality. Starters range from £5-£8, Mains £13-£30 and desserts are a set price at £6. As I say a bit more than the average country pub but food that cant be competed with in any shape or form. We have great evenings at this pub on bonfire night, with a huge bonfire roaring in the garden, bbq serving beautiful burgers and hotdogs, drink, and some extra stalls such as popcorn, glowsticks and candyfloss. Well worth going to and one of the best firework events on a more intimate level about. It even has its own barn which can be privately hired for events, which again is beautiful. A great country pub with history, exquisite food and freindly and dogs are welcome which is a bonus as well as adequate water for them and biscuits to!
