      Pretty good all round

Hi just a quick overview of Sealeys. This company started as a one man band selling Trolley Jacks from the back of his car. He is now a major importer and wholesaler of power tools with three large warehouses located in my home town of Bury St Edmunds. I have been using Power Products for some time now after trying to find a cheaper alternative to Snap-On or Mac-Tools. I have found that the price is much cheaper than competitors and although the tools are not as heavy duty they are still strong enough and reliable. Sealey also offer a Lifetime Warranty on most hand tools and 3-5 years on most other items. The only problem with Sealey's is they do not sell directly, or have vans visiting workshops with tools, you actually have to find a distributor to buy from. I can't help but think this is nothing but a dis-advantage to the company. Sealey's have a huge product range ranging from toolboxes, welders and supplies, and hand tools to brooms. Other products in their range include Air compressors, transmission jacks, and tyre changing tools and equipment. The only suggestion i would make is to try an avoid the Siegen range in their catalogue, this is a company i believe they bought out and the products are far inferior and liable break. In all honesty i couldn't think of anything you might need in a workshop or garage that isn't included in the Sealey range. Any authorised Sealey dealer should have a catalogue in stock to give you free of charge. These are well worth a flick through and if anything you want isn't in stock Sealey's should be able to deliver it next day. Overall the quality, reliability and warranty on these tools is on par with most competitors with the price being much cheaper. However their decision only to sell to trade is an inconveniance, but i guess this is what they have to do to keep the prices down. Mostly very impressed with Sealey's for a little known about company that most definately should be better known.
