I have a pink version of this and i absolutely love it. I wanted a player which had an FM function on it as i was struggling to find an mp3 which had FM ( doesnt seem to be very common in players). Its been really reliable,a lways get good FM signal and it holds loads of songs/album.
Its really small so fits in pockets very easily and it has touchscreen type buttons which is great.
It has other functions like voice recording which im yet to use but i thought could be very handy. I also love the fact that this player has a USB connection that comes out of it and its a simple plug into the computer to recharge and download music - which makes life much easiers as your not faffing around with extra cables.
This was very much 'plug and go' and like the reliabilty of samsung products
Having not had a MP3 player before, I did a little research on the net and on the 'Which' website as to what was the best MP3 player for your money.
'Which' rated this player as a 'best buy' the other Month and was the highest scoring of all the units they tested!
First impressions on taking it out of the very neat looking perspex case it comes in were mixed..it seemed a bit to plasticy and lightweight to me, but for the money I suppose you can't complain!
I placed the set up disc with the program that you need to transfer music from your pc to the unit in my PC and within 5 mins it had loaded and scanned my PC for music files. Transfering tracks is just dragging tracks from the left pain to the right...simple!
The amount of options available on the MP3 player is incredible given its size and price! I was only expecting like a basic sound with no options for conroling the bass and treble..as it turns out its got countless options to tailer the sound to your own personal liking! Personally I prefer to use the 'user EQ' where you can adjust each frequency channel by sliding up and down.
Sound is brilliant! 10 times better than on my Nokia phone.
Controls are small and touch sensitive...takes some getting used to but with a bit of practise its fine!
I have heard that a better quality sound may be produced by changing the supplied headphones to a premiem set.
