Over the last year I must have used over 30 mp3 players through my family, but I have to say this had me very impressed, not only does it look physically attractive to the eye and feel light in the hand it is also stuffed with amazing features.
First of all it has something called Dnse 3.0 software which basically upscales the sound quality of your music, which you can instantly recognise sounds clearer and more amplified.
The 2.4" screen did not leave me disapointed when watching a film instead I felt impressed by its high resolution picture.
What I personally found most impressive is the TTS system(text to sound) which is useful if you get an email that is in a different language then the system will translate it into an mp3 file in which you can listen to it in english.
I also liked the rhythmiser as it added to the music experience and the leds changed with the mood or genre of music.
My cousin has dropped this like three times and it still works so you can count it as strong and sterdy.
Amazing. Incredible grapics in video player. Easy to use and could be used by all. Great sound can really fault its feild. Incredible value for money. Recommend to all of my freinds and want many people to enjoy this unfaultable device.
samsungs YP-Q1 mp3 player is ok. it has a few minor bug of wich needed to be fixed before shipping, the guide buttons that are all touch senseative, wich add's to the players style but with these buttons i found that they can get annoying and they are so sensetive it unreal. apart from that the YP-Q1 has a brilliantly clear 2.4" display. wich is very usefull for waching all videos. the sound quality on this player is extremely clear with DNSe and an audio upscaller, the YP-Q1 also features a built in am-fm radio, 3 games and a voice recorder. the YP-Q1 is also compatible with programs downloaded from the BBC Iplayer. the software thats designed for samsung players is emodio, wich i found easy to use there are a few bug when i am running it on windows vista, it is well worth buying just be carefull of the buttons because if they annoy you just wide them with a cloth and make sure your thumbs are not sweaty aswell.
This MP3 player looks like a James Bond gadget, its small, quite slim and sleek, (feels quite heavy in the sence it feels of good quality) but there is something lacking in its useability. The keys dont always respond to my touch (dont know if i have cold hands or something?!) so it makes it a little bit tiresome to use. HOWEVER, this is one of the better MP3 players i have used, better than my old Nano, and the sound quality is VERY VERY VERY good. (even when you crank up the volume to let people listen to the song your talking about from your headphone speakers! You know you do it as well..)
In terms of price, it was quite a lot of money as you can get very cheap MP3's from even supermarkets, but this one looks GREAT so i think its worth the extra money.
One final thought though, i have dropped it a few times, and it scratches easily but hasnt broken so its sturdy!!!
