      Very helpful

The first thing that struck me was just how thin this plasma screen is - its approx 1/2 the thickness to our older lcd screen.
the second is the reflective nature of the screen, if you have a lot of sunlight in your room this maybe an issue, we resolved this by purchasing the recomended bracket at around £15 on here - this allowed us to angle the screen so there is less reflection in bright sunlight (its also only takes a secont to re adjust).
Another thing - when you set it up put the machine to dynamic picture settings, its a lot brighter during the day the default setting are very dim.

The tv is only 720p - but it will happily play 1080 - you wont notice any difference, I have a couple of smaller full hd tvs in the house and this machine is by far the best quality out of all of them when viewing a bluray disk.

But the best part about it is the usb reader WILL read NTFS formatted drives, this brings FULL HD RIPS into the equation. When researching this tv i could find very little information on what formats etc it could read, well it has played flawlessly for me, avi (divx and xvid mp3 / and aac), mkv (file concered is 13gb in size) 1080p DTS x264 (this blew me away as my xbox cannot play this natively without windows media center extender running)it has played every type of format i've thrown at it
One thing i suspect but haven't tested is a hard drive, i suspect that the usb port wont support these passport drives as though experience standalone media players such as the samsung bluray are never able to supply the current needed to run the disk, but with flash cards now so cheap and large this isnt a issue anymore for me.

One thing to watch out for is if your wall mounted and coming from an older Samsung unit check the side of your current cables input, on our old tv the cables were on the opposite side, this i didnt realise until i had hanged the tv on the wall, because of this i had to re invest in new longer hdmi cables and optical leads, no big deal but a royal pain when you only want to set it up and walk away.

Overall at the price here this tv is a steal, if you have a big enough room (as this tv is massive) - this will be a very welcome addition to any home
