I purchased this Panasonic tv a few years ago for around £900
It's a 50" inch plasma tv
The picture quality is excellent, I understand that some plasma TVs can have problems with pixel freeze and other display problems but have never experienced any such problems with this TV.
The setup menus are very easy to use, allowing you to choose the various picture/sound settings according to your preference.
The sound quality is also very good, however it is easy to set up additional sound systems if required.
There are various different input sources available on the tv, allowing you to connect to cameras/camcorders/pc/games consoles etc. It is easy to select the different input sources using the AV button on the remote control.
As a side note if you are a frequent user of ceefax the text button allows you to split the screen into 2 sections so you can still watch your tv programme while checking the text.
In terms of the aesthetics of the television, there is not much that can be done to hide the fact that it is a larger set. However after just a short period of time you get used to the size and it doesn't appear as large as it did when I first brought it home. The frame around the screen at the top and the edges is about one and a half inches so it is relatively small and the frame doesn't stand out too much. The set can be wall mounted, however with the size and weight, I prefer to have it on a stand.
Overall I am very satisfied with the performance of the television and I feel that it is a good quality tv for the price
