Roll up, roll up and hear the amazing story of the disintegrating tampon, made by Sainsburys called Liberty Tampons and available in various sizes. I've used Libery for a few months now as they are reasonably priced and as good as any other higher priced tampon.....or so I thought! On the day in question I was using the regular tampons for medium flow, and after about 3 hours I decided to change my tampon for a fresh one as I'm always very consious of leaving a tampon in to long. To my horror the tampon had disintegrated into bits and clumps, which were difficult to remove. Feeling rather worried what with toxic shock syndrome I decided to have a bath to try and prize the remaining bits out. After a very long soak and a jet of water to the offending area I am now clean and free. But I won't be using Liberty tampons again thats for sure. I an in the process of complaining to Sainsburys and will update this opinion when the result of my complaint is completed. I just wanted to warn other Liberty users of the dangers so that they dont have to worry as I did!!!
