handy sanitary bags I could not live without!

I am not particularly open for discussion about my routine at the certain "time of the month" but these are a product I cannot live without! I just can't do tampons or anything as I feel awkward inserting stuff inside me (sorry for the graphic detail!) so I am simply a sanitary towel kind of girl.

Of course with us ladies, having our "time of the month" is one thing I want to keep as discreet as possible and everyone else around me doesn't need to know whats going on. So for me disposing of these products as hygenically as possible is top of my list. That's where these bags come in!

They are essentially a little purple plastic sanitary, of compact and versatility for disposing of such items easily. Similar to the concept of a nappy bag, but they are purple and fragranced. They have a tie handle so they can be tied to lock in any unpleasant smells and be thrown into the bin without giving away what's inside. (Unless if you read this review and see one you now know full well what's inside!)

These bags are really durable and don't tear at all, and with all my years experience (I started my menstruation at a particularly young age) they haven't failed me at all. Although they are purple they can be seen through but not to the extent you can actually see what's inside. I always double wrap them anyway, with a wrapper of a new towel and then into this bag so as to completely disguise the thing inside! The fragrant is really pleasant, not overly powerful to fill the room with a scent but if you were to smell the bag you wouldn't smell anything gross lol! The smell is just a lightly floral perfume smell really.

They come in a small, purple rectangular box which has an oval shaped hole in the centre, where some of the cardboard can be removed, and it is easy to withdraw a bag one by one. They are folded and sometimes I find I accidentally pull out more than I need but it's not a biggy I just shove the extra one in my handbag as I like to have one bag and one of these towels in my bag at all times should the onset catch me off guard!

The bags cost 90p for a pac of 50 which really is good value. I have seen superdrugs stiff competition as they had their brand as 50p for 50 bags and a box was buy one get one free! However when I do my usual shop in sainsburys it is always my reflex to buy their brand as I've only ever seen them elsewhere once or twice.

Overall, I find these fantastic and would definitely recommend them. There's nothing to fault them on and they really are my little saviour when that unpleasant time of the month arrives!
