I picked up the PX21 MW3 Edition a little while ago, and I fell now as if I am ready after a couple weeks of usage to review this product.
Style and Comfort: This headset has a very sleek and stylish design. The MW3 edition is a great choice. The green highlights look great against the black. The leather on the top looks nice and provides comfort for the top of the head. The ear cups are reasonably comfy, I will have to take them off after a couple hours because it starts to become uncomfortable at that time. I do wish that it didn't feel so flimsy. I'm afraid that with enough force it could break. The mic has very strong build quality though.
Price: I picked this up for 40 Euros, which is about $52 US Dollars. This is a very reasonable price for what you get.
Sound: This headset has stereo and not surround sound, but that makes sense due to the price. The sound quality is still very detailed though. The bass is incredible for the price though. When a grenade goes off in Battlefield 3, it feels like a grenade just went off next to you. The bass is so amazing that I would suggest not putting it on max to make sure it doesn't burst. It is very helpful being able to control the bass, volume, and chat volume from where you are sitting.
Mic: The mic is amazing. The build quality is sturdy and won't be falling off anytime soon. As long as you don't stomp on it, you're good to go. The overall sound quality is very impressive. It's very good for the price.
Long-term: It's a great first headset, and it will last awhile. A great thing is that if you wish to upgrade it later, you can buy the DSS from Turtle Beach, and it the PX21 instantly becomes a high quality, 7.1 surround sound headset. This is great because you can get a great sounding headset without having to spend as much compared to getting a whole new headset.
Overall: A great pick-up. I would definitely recommend this headset.
