I was plugging my camera into the computer with the lead in order to transfer the pictures because I had no managed to get hold of a micso sd card adapter. I decided that I had best buy one as it would make the process of transferring the pictures much easier. I did not realise how cheap you can pick them up, this cost more in packaging than it did in price.

I bought my micro SD card reader from eBay and I paid a whopping £0.99 with a cost of £1.10 delivery. This was brand new and unused so I was pleased with the bargain.
This is a small device, a little bigger than the standard SD card. There is a small gap for you to insert your micro SD card and then you can slot it straight into the card reader on the computer. In effect it, it makes the small card the same size of the larger one. The whole thing is light, small and for all intents and purposes it looks like an SD card. It is labelled up with the logo on the front.
This is great! So simple in construction but it does exactly what it says on the tin. Most laptops and card readers only take SD cards so having a device to convert the small one into a large one is excellent. If I am honest, these micro SD cards are a pain. So fiddly and frustrating, the standard SD card is small enough. Soon things will be invisible!
I am pleased with this device, it is simple and easy with absolutely no issues. It has worked every time, it does exactly what it is supposed to. I was most pleased with the price too, I really did not want to have to spend a fortune on a micro SD card and then lots of money on a device that would convert it into something that my computer could read! I keep this device with the camera in the case, it is small enough to tuck it into the pocket and then I do not lose it. I would say that people with large hands may find it a little fiddly sliding the micro card into the tiny slot but unfortunately that is one of the downsides of us having an obsession with little tiny things!
