      Ipad case

Cygnett iPad cover With a new iPad it was vital that I got a new case to keep it covered. I didn't want a big bulky one or anything fancy or incredibly expensive just something which would keep it protected. There were a few I saw online at the apple store which were quite reasonably priced and not over and above what I wanted to pay, including this one which seems to retail for £20. However, a recent trip to the Metro Centre had me finding the very case in hmv reduced to £9.99 so a real bargain! The case is available in pink and also in a kind of teal colour which is the one I bought. The style of the case is a folk design in at it opens up and the iPad is slotted into the cover and then the top is folded over so its completely cover when not in use. It is made of a sturdy canvas fabric which looks stylish and which also means that it doesn't get to look dirty or scratched because its not matte and shiny like some covers. On the inside of the top cover of the case is a place where bits of paper and other small items can be kept although because of how slim it is its not great for anything thick; a few bits of folded up paper at the mose. If too much stuff is put into this sleeve then I think the case wouldn't close effectively. This is one of the creatures of the case which I think is really effective. It's a magnetic function which snaps the case shut and because it has a sleep and wake function, even if I forget to switch off my iPad, when I close the case it immediately goes into sleep mode. Similarly when I open the case completely, it wakes up, and this function really helps to increase battery life. The case is a nice snug fit and my iPad doesn't wobble about or feel as tough it's going to fall out, and even though its fabric, it does feel sturdy. Hen the case is on my iPad I also have full and easy access to all of the features and anger good thing is that I can charge it even when the case is on, so no having to take it off before charging. Available online and certainly in HMV, it's worth checking around for a good deal. VERDICT... This is a good value iPad case. I like the colour and it does a great job of keeping my iPad protected and scratch free. It has a number of handy features and whilst the space in the sleeve isn't big it's great when it goes into sleep mode just by being closed. Recommended for anyone wanting an iPad case Thanks for reading Daniela xx

The Alumni is covered with classic hard-wearing canvas fabric that protects the iPad from wear and tear. Opening or closing the case automatically activates the sleep/wake function, while concealed magnets keep the case securely closed when the iPad is not in use.
