      Protect your phone in style

I recently got a new mobile phone which I love so I wanted to buy a case for it to keep it in tip top condition.

As a huge lover of Cath Kidston things I knew straight away that I wanted a Cath Kidston phone case for my pretty new phone.

After looking at the different designs available I chose the Mini Shooting Star patterned case. The case is dark blue in colour with various stars on it which are repeated through out the material, the stars are in different colours which makes the case quite striking to look at . It has a contrasting red piping around the seams. Towards the bottom of the case on the front is a small rubber badge with the Cath Kidston signature on it, this is stitched onto the case rather than glued on so there shouldn't be any worry of it falling off.

The material of the phone case oilcloth which is 100% PVC coated cotton, this means that if you accidentally splash the case with liquid then you can just wipe it clean and it won't soak through onto your phone. The case is lined with polyester which has a look of suede about it, this is nice and soft against your phone and shouldn't cause any damage to it.

One of my favourite things about the case is the strip of ribbon in the middle of it, which come out of the back near the top. The end of the ribbon has a little strip of velcro on it which sticks to another piece of velcro on the front at the top middle. When the velcro is fastened together the ribbon stops smaller phones falling out. When you place your phone into the case it pulls the ribbon down making it shorter on the outside. To remove your phone from the case unfasten the velcro and pull on the ribbon and it slides it out of the case. I think this is a great idea especially as my phone is quite a snug fit in it, and it saves me getting even more finger marks on the screen. My mobile has a headphone jack at the top of it, which I can still use when it is in the case because of the ribbon fastening on the case.

As I've just mentioned my phone (HTC Wildfire S) is quite a snug fit in the case, and with mobiles seeming to get bigger again it would be worth checking whether it will fit if you are thinking of buying this.
Externally the case measures 12cm in height and is 7.5cm wide. My phone is 10cm tall, 6cm wide and about 1 cm thick. So if your phone is this or smaller then it should fit perfectly.

The RRP of this case is £15 which if I'm honest I'm not sure whether this expensive or not as I didn't look at any other brands of case before buying this one. I did however manage to get mine for £12 from John Lewis so I did make a little bit of a saving.
You can buy this from Cath Kidston stores, online at the Cath Kidston website or as mentioned John Lewis.
