      Advantages

      Disadvantages

A fun kitchen accessibly that could really get you into baking, if you have room for it.

This handy thing is not a necessity but sure helps out in the kitchen, whenever I feel like baking I plug this gadget in, and know that everything is going to turn out great.

This device nullifies all the boring tedious muscle cramping tasks when it comes to baking such as whisking, kneading, mixing, anything, and will more often than not leave you with a better result that you could ever achieve anyway.

Having this device leaves you to simply add the correct measurements of ingredients, and adjusting to make sure you have the correct attachment on the kenwood; this is essential, if you look in the right places you can find a multitude of various attachments made for performing specific tasks, the good ones are made of non stick rubber as the mixture can tend to slick annoying to the more fiddly whisk like attachment.

The kenwood mixing machine comes with a dial for speed settings, I swear this thing could create a small tornado if ever set to maximum. The whole top of the kenwood folds back using a secure clip and locks down the same way so that getting the bowl out is an easy task.

This gadget plugs into a standard socket so you will need to have it nearby one so that it can be used, there is no external charge available.

Using 300 watts makes this thing not the quietest thing in the world but its not stupidly loud, so this needn't bother you.

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

All in all a good little addition to the kitchen and offers excellent value for money

This great little machine has cut my food preparation time in half! I have found my pastries and dough are coming out so much better than when I used to do it by hand and in a matter of minutes! The attachments are simple to work with and you can be up and running in no time.

I love to cook but absolutely hate cleaning up afterwards! However I must say cleaning this is super easy! Just soak the bowl and whisk in some soapy water, rinse off the base and it's job done!

Ideally, I wish the bowl could have been slightly larger. I do like to bake and find for larger cakes it was a bit too small to handle all the necessary ingredients. At 300 watts it is not the most quiet appliance in the kitchen but is very well made - a good solid design that will not slide around when in use.

I am a bit of a gadget freak so I love the look of this machine. It gives my kitchen a very 70's look but still you get a sense of functionality. This is clearly the best mixer on the market in my opinion and offers excellent value for money.

          Disadvantages

          Perfect for the amateur chef

I bought this mixer over a year ago on Amazon, at the time getting it for £100, and in my opinion, a total bargain.
If you like baking this is a brilliant addition to your kitchen. From a personal point of view, I had looked at 'old style' mixers for a while and after a quick survey of friends they all suggested to buy Kenwood over any other make as they are built to last.

The mixer is deceptively big so be warned you need to have space, however it arrived fully assembled so really it was a case of plug in and off we go!
The bowl holds 4 litres of mixture, which is more than enough for a serious cake making session for example. You receive a paddle for dough, a hook to hang the dough on, and the mixer blade too.
Also included is an attachment for the rim of the bowl with a 'chute' thus eliminating any worries about using the fastest setting and the mixture going everywhere.
The bowl is brushed steel and still looks as good as new today, after numerous uses.

I mainly make cakes with mine, Kenwood however has a helpful book with recipes included for different things. I haven't used it yet but it's nice to know it's there should I ever want to use it.
The mixer has six speeds and automatically downgrades the speed as necessary when on. It's easy to clean, the main body requiring a simple wipe down
I would definitely recommend this product, in the scheme of prices of mixers, this is competitively priced so the initial outlay is well worth it.
