I've no hestitation in recommending it

There are so many replacement mice on sale the choice can be bewildering and it's often a matter of luck whether the one you select is the right one for your needs. Most of them are cheap enough and after a few bad experiences with unknown-name brands I now prefer to spend just a few more pounds on something from a manufacturer with an established reputation like Logitech.

This M-UAG model is specifically designed for portable Notebook computers. (It's also marketed under the V100 model identifier), and so comes with a relatively short approx 2 foot USB lead. In size it's smaller than many other models but still big enough to be easily held in a man's large hand. In use it's accurate and responsive, the sensor works across a range of surfaces - usually no need for a special mouse pad. Unusually the left and right clicks are implemented through a flexible top surface rather than separate buttons - but they work well and reliably. There is a central scroll wheel, again accurate when scrolling vertically. The wheel is also multi-function, clicking it down on a browser hyperlink for instance opens up a new tab on my system (I suspect this behaviour is user-configurable somewhere) and horizontal scrolling is achieved by pressing the wheel left or right (a function I usually forget it has.)
On both Windows and Linux systems it proved to be plug n' play, coming up for use very shortly after first inserting into a USB socket.
Although designed and marketed for Notebook machines it should also be perfect on any PC where the user prefers a smaller but fully-functioned mouse.
For anyone who doesn't like bright red lights there is a very similar M-UAL120 (aka V150) model which uses an invisible (probably infra-red) laser.

Well this mouse works fine.Except it comes with features that are very unwanted. This very mouse causes audio drivers & cards to malfunction. For some reason the mouse conflicts with motherboards especially while used with notebook computers.

Get with my ASUS notebook. It works perfectly, at large amount of surfaces. Maybe not too comfortable for large hand, but I haven't one :)
