I have bought two of these tables to have in my home. They are so useful and didn't cost a lot of money at all which is a good thing as we have bought them more for practical reasons rather than how good they look.

These come flat pack but not in a complex way. It only took my husband a matter of minutes to screw the legs into position and that was all. The packaging wasn't overly extensive either so it didn't take long to get it out.

The tables were available in various colours. We bought two 'beech' coloured which were a nice mid-brown. They were available in pine and black too but we thought beech would be best for our house.

They are approximately 40cm high and the table is square. It is tall enough to have some little chairs around it. My grandchildren sit at the tables for their lunch and to do crafts. They are perfect in size. They are a little too big for side tables although we do use these to put our drinks on and things when we have friends round but it is more aimed at children I think.

The table is fairly light weight too so it's easy to move to one room to another for me.

The table is wipe clean which is good seeing as the grandchildren make lots of mess!

When we bought this we thought it would be a temporary table for the grandchildren to use until they were big enough to sit at the main table but they still use these despite being big enough now, I think they like having their own little place to sit. I am surprised they have stayed in such good condition so it shows you don't have to pay a fortune to get good quality. I think they cost us £12 at the time and that was nearly 3 years ago so to still be in such good condition is fantastic.

I bought this for my Grandson when he was about 8 months old. He has enjoyed playing with it a lot and now a year on still enjoys bashing away at it to create as much noise as possible. It's great quality and I'm glad I bought it him.

      +++ What is it? +++
This is shaped roughly like a grand piano and is made from a very robust plastic and is very durable. On the top it has a xylophone type design with 4 metal bars with white clips holding them in place. These vary in size, gradually getting smaller and are blue, green, yellow and red. Beneath them, there are keys that are made to look like the keys of a piano. These are big and the same colour as the block above it.

+++ What does it do? +++
The idea of this is to encourage children to see about how when they press a button it makes a noise. Each button makes a noise- a nice chime like a xylophone. When you press each one in turn it actually sounds like the noise of a train announcement starting in a train station! You can also tap the bars at the top to create noise like that too although it doesn't come with a beater but of course you can create your own with something- we often use spoons.

      +++ Fun for children +++
It does seem to be fun for children and I think this is because it's a noisy toy and all children love noisy toys but also because it's very easy to use. The keys are easy to press even for little children. My grandson was able to press the keys down by himself as soon as we bought this for him. They are chunky enough for his fingers to press the right one and light so he doesn't have to apply much pressure. He used to chuckle away as he made it make the noise. He also likes to hit it with a wooden spoon to get the sounds that way too. It's nice to watch him play.

      +++ Education +++
Yes it's an educational toy. You can teach children about colours as these are big and bold. You can also teach children a bit about music by just talking about how one note sounds higher than the other. They will learn skills like listening too and how to use their hands carefully to press the key they wish. It's nice to see them learn like this.

      +++ Quality +++
This is a very robust toy. It has been dropped, knocked over and well loved but still remains in very good condition. The bars have never come out of their spaces and there are no scratches or anything upon this. It is well cased with the robust plastic which makes it really very apt for the age group it is intended for.

      +++ conclusion +++
This is a very good toy. It's nice and chunky so good for young children and colourful so it is appealing for them. Children enjoy noisy toys and this certainly is one although the chimes it makes are not excessively loud so it isn't like some of the very noisy toys that you can buy. I am pleased we bought this, my grandson has had lots of enjoyment from it and it's nice to see him learning too.

My husband bought me this watch for our wedding anniversary. It retails at around £80-£100 so a lot of money but I think you need to pay about that to get a reliable watch.

I usually have a strap which is leather for a watch so this was a very different gift to receive. I wasn't sure if I would like it but I have soon got used to it and really like it.

This watch is made from stainless steel and is a twist design which crosses over so it has nice detail. It has a gold effect on part of the watch which emphasises the twist. The watch face is quite large which is what I like, I do't want something so small that I can't see it. It doesn't have numbers but does have little marks so you can easily see what the time is. I think numbers would look a bit old fashioned anyway. Where the numbers should be on 3 and 9 there are two little diamonds instead and this isn't too obvious, just a nice subtle sparkle which I think is really pretty!

I wasn't sure if it would be uncomfortable to wear but it isn't. It's not at all heavy and you can adjust it by taking out part of the bracelet strap at the back. The clasp is a bit tricky to fasten by myself but my husband helps me and it is a good, firm clasp, I am not worried that it would come undone whilst wearing it.

I find it very easy to be able to read the time on this, it's nice and clear, quite a big watch face without it being too bulky on my wrist. It feels nice wearing this, like I'm wearing a bracelet rather than a watch.

I don't wear it all the time as I feel it is a bit too dressy for me, it's not a casual watch at all.

I really like this, it's quite subtle with just the few diamonds on it and it's not boring either. I am very impressed with my husband's ability to buy me something so lovely. I really do recommend it.

One of my grandchildren is a real worrier. It is as though she can't relax and she gets quite wound up at times especially if she is doing something out of her comfort zone. It has become such a problem that my daughter became very upset about it and took her to the doctor's to talk about it. After having tried distraction techniques, talking it out, changing schools and so forth my daughter was recommended by a friend to try a herbal remedy. I did a little research and read good things about these gummy stars so I bought a packet for about £6.

These gummy stars come in a box of 36 with them all being in individual strips of 3. This makes it easier to just pop them in your bag to take around.

They are advised to be used 'when you need them'. My only worry is that children may become dependent upon them and I would hate for my little granddaughter to feel like she needs to rely on a 'sweet' to make her feel better so I do hope that people are sensible when they use these with children. They are suitable from 2 years old.

The gums are star shaped so look appealing and have a slight orange flavour so do appear like sweets for children. The stars contain 4 drops of the rescue remedy.

These do work. My granddaughter takes them and I don't know if it's because she is now thinking about how nice teh sweets are that it distracts her but she definitely calms down and it seems to settle her nerves. We do not use these regularly but when my granddaughter was starting to feel anxious when we were shopping a few weeks ago and we were in a queue she began to get quite wound up and worried that we would be late home. She was so on edge it was upsetting to see but when she had one of these stars she seemed to relax.

I'm in two minds about whether I like these or not. They do help so that is a very good thing and they are child friendly but it's worrying that children should need something like this, I wish they could all be happy go lucky. If there is an underlying problem don't just try to use these and forget about it, try to tackle the problem so your little one can move on.

I really dislike it when I have a bunged up nose and can't breathe properly, it makes for a very uncomfortable night's sleep so we are always buying medicine to help with decongesting. This is one product that is good to use for the whole family. You do of course have to use it differently depending upon the age of the person using it.

Ingredients include: Active ingredients (%w/v): Levomenthol Ph. Eur. 7.9, Thymol Ph. Eur. 0.7, Chlorobutanol Ph. Eur. 0.5, Terpined B.P. 14.8, Pumilio Pine Oil 22.9, Pine Oil Sylvestris 2.0.

It comes in a little glass bottle. The lid is one of those that you press down at the same time as twist. I find this sometimes difficult to do as I struggle with my hands but at least it means that children shouldn't be able to do it. I still keep this up high out of reach of children anyway just in case.

What I do for myself is I put a few drops of it on the pillow when I am going to sleep. I don't normally count how many drops, it's usually about 5. I find that after a few minutes I can smell it and I am able to breathe through my nose a little better. It doesn't completely make me decongested but I am yet to find a product that does. When I am right in the thick of a cold it's difficult for this to work but it does work a bit. I find this works best when a cold is on it's way out so I am still a bit bunged up and this soon clears the nasal passages.

When I use this with children I put a few drops on a tissue and put it within their bedroom but out of their reach. This usually helps them a bit as the vapours work their way to them.

I find that this hurts if you get it too close to your mouth. On one occasion I've been very close to it on my pillow and when I inhaled through my mouth it almost burnt so be careful where you put it. It also burns if it goes too close to your eyes and makes them water too so be careful.

In conclusion I think this works as well as any other brand but you have to be careful where abouts you put it.

I suffer from ulcers quite regularly and find them very sore. They tend to take a good week to heal and I often catch them whilst eating. I have tried various products to try to help them to heal and to take the pain away and this is the best one so far.

This gel costs me around the £2.50 mark and its worth all that and more!

Before taking any medicines it's important to check the label. You shouldn't take this if you have sensitivity to all sugar types or if you are allergic to lidocaine. It is not certain if this is safe in pregnancy but it is thought that it is... so do check if you are unsure.

Possible side effects include hypersensitivity reactions but aside from that none others are listed as being associated with this gel.

You apply this gel direct to the ulcer and you can keep reapplying it if you need to after every 20 minutes.

I find that this gel is easy to apply, it's very thick and there seems to be something special in it that makes it stay exactly where you put it. Previous products I've used have tended to slip and not stay on the ulcer but this does stay. It provides relief right away, it seems to soothe the pain immediately. I often don't have to reapply it for a while. I find after eating it can become sore again but applying this will stop that.

I do think it helps with the healing of the ulcer as a whole. Since I have been using this my ulcers haven't taken as long to clear up and they have been far from troublesome which is a huge relief.

The local anaesthetic in this really is brilliant for that fast relief you need. It is also suitable for use with denture irritation and sore gums. My husband used it recently when he had a gum infection and he too reported good things.

I really think this is a great product.

This is my second across the body bag by Radley. I really like this brand and this style of bag so having received this as a present was a lovely surprise.

Radley make lots of really good quality bags, purses, umbrellas and other such items which have always been good quality in my experience. They are well known for their trademark little scottie dog which is very cute.

This Across The Body bag is lovely. The bag itself measures around 20 tall and about 10cm wide so it's not a huge bag by any means but it is a decent size to fit your basics in like your purse, keys, phone, tissues and a little space for a few extras. It has a zip up pocket on the back which I find useful for keeping things i need to get hold of quickly like my phone in. There is also a pocket at the front of the bag but I don't use this a sit's open so it would worry me that someone could just put their hand in and take it out or it could fall out. The main body of the bag is fastened with a zip.

This is an across body bag so it comes with a long strap which you can put over your shoulder or across your body. Across the body is much more comfortable for me and it stays put whereas if it's just sitting on my shoulder it can slip off easier.

The material on this is different coloured scottie dogs- yellow, orange, red and grey and they are lovely. I like this design as I think it's very colourful and reminds me of Autumnal colours which is my favourite season.

This bag is really practical as you can easily get to the items you need thanks to the pockets and it is a very reasonable size too. I prefer to take this bag out when I go out rather than a handbag which is more awkward to hold and can be quite heavy and cumbersome. This is a much better option.

I really like this bag and recommend it. It's available in various colours and designs.

I bought these because they were on offer and I'm glad I did! I really like them!

The reason why they are called 'for men' is because the tissues are bigger than those in 'normal' 'women's' tissues! I presume men need bigger tissues because they have bigger noses or maybe it's because a big tissue makes them feel more macho... well whatever the reason they're great!

The box is more 'manly' with it being in bold black, red and white colours. Aside from the colours the box is very similar to normal tissue boxes. It opens at the top and the tissues are dispensed one at a time although every so often you do get two at a time but that's not really a problem!

The tissues are very soft. They definitely do help when you have a cold and a sore nose from so much blowing! They don't irritate your sore skin at all and are quite soothing even though they don't have any balms as such in them.

They are also very absorbent. When mopping up a spilt drink I realised that these are good at absorbing liquid so again very useful!

In my opinion these are really good tissues. I don't actually see them as any different than ordinary tissues except for the size of them which is actually more useful!

I like how they're very soft to touch so that when you do need to blow your nose it's gentle against your skin especially if it's tender.

I am glad that I bought these as the fact they're for men shouldn't mean that only men can use them- at least I hope it doesn't mean this as I've used them many a time!

I think that they are good value for money at around £1.90 for a box which may be more expensive than if you just used toilet roll to blow your nose but toilet roll isn't as soft and soothing as these are. They are available from supermarkets and shops such as superdrug so they are easy to get hold of. Sometimes there are offers on too making it even better value for money!

My husband and I like to do quite a bit of walking but we have found that our walking boots tend to smell. If it's hot then they smell musty like sweat but if they get wet in the winter they smell mouldy like stale water and so we bought this spray. It is quite expensive as it costs £3.50 for 150ml from our local shop, however, it does work so I think it's worth the price tag.

You can apply this to your feet or to your shoes. Seeing as it seems to be the shoes that are the problem and that we can just wash our feet in the shower we apply this direct to our shoes. A good shake and you spray it into the shoe. It doesn't have a smell itself, it just neutralises smells and stops them from forming so you don't have to walk around with a big scent following you around with everyone knowing exactly what you've sprayed!

It does definitely seem to work. It helps to take the nasty smells away and make our walking boots nice to wear again! I found that after the first spray it still smelt a bit but once we'd used it two or three times they were fresh again. We now apply this to our shoes before we go walking even if they don't smell to help stop any smells from building up.

It has antibacterial properties so that's always reassuring as you do wonder what is lurking in your shoes!

I have applied it direct to my feet once when they felt very hot on a sunny day and it instantly cooled them down, it's a nice cooling sensation, so I think in the summer I may well be turning to this again.

It doesn't contain any CFCs. The ingredients are: Butane,Isobutane ,Propane ,Isopropyl Myristate ,Aluminum Chlorhydrate ,Cyclomethicone ,Triethyl Citrate ,Parfum ,Disteardimonium Hectorite ,Triclosan ,Dimethicone ,Propylene Carbonate

I find this a very effective spray and highly recommend it.

This little gym is great for babies and toddlers. It has been a huge hit with my grandchildren who have all had hours of fun out of it. It is designed to last children for a long time which is rare these days! I find with the majority of toys aimed at children from a young age that they will only last a matter of months before they have out grown them but this gym adjusts so that as your child grows up this gym too grows with them.

The settings are great as it means when your baby can't sit up by themselves they can lie underneath it and kick away at the various rattles and things that fall down. The gym will then adjust so that your baby can play whilst sitting up. It then turns so that the kick plate is actually a little stool for your child to sit on whilst playing with the gym. Then the table turns round completely so that it can be used as a table and chair.

It has various settings including a motion one. This means that as your child pushes a rattle or bashes something then music will p lay. This is great for when your child is very tiny as it helps them learna bout how they have created the reaction as a consequence of their actions. The is also a music option in which the music sounds only if the buttons are pressed. The other option is notes. This is where the buttons don't play songs but just one note instead.

There are 4 big buttons in different shapes and colours that light up and flash along with the music. There are also three rattles that hang down and spin around as well as a mirror and a few pictures.

This toy is easy to adjust even I can do it so that is saying something! It is very light which means moving it around the house is easy which makes a change but it does also mean that as your baby gets stronger it can also move it by itself! It is easy to clean as it's just plastic which is a good job as it is well loved.

The gym will move into a little table and stool when they are bigger. This is great for a little one to sit at with some paper and scribble away or you can move the gym around so it's facing upwards so they can sit and play with the gym whilst on the stool.

This phone set is very practical. If you do not want a cordless phone and you require something with a clear screen and large buttons then this is for you. I have found this very useful for me to have beside my bed. When I am tired I struggle to look at a mobile phone and I find them difficult to use so I've needed a reliable phone beside my bed for if i need to contact somebody.

This phone is not cordless which is perfect because I tend to misplace the handset otherwise or if I lose my mobile phone I always know where this one is so I can ring it to find it!

It is a chunky phone, it's about 20cm x 10cm so nice and solid. The buttons are large and it's just a case of pick up the receiver and dial a number and away you go. There is nothing complex about this so easy for me to work when I'm feeling tired. You can make it handsfree if you wish by simply pressing a button and the light will light up beneath it so you can see right away you're handsfree. This is useful although the people who I talk to say it's not very clear. It is easy to put on mute too.

This phone can be more complicated if you wish it to be. It has an electronic address book which can hold up to 100 names and it will also recall the last 30 numbers rang which is useful. I haven't ever added to the address book because it's quite fiddly with the numbers on the buttons doubling up as letters and I find that a bit too complex, if I need to ring someone I can easily just put their number in the phone direct from my paper address book but it is useful to have an electronic one should you need it.

It has an answer phone too which is easy to listen to. It holds about half an hour's worth of messages which is plenty. It does lose your messages though if you turn it off by the wall or if you have a powercut though which I found out by mistake so if you have important messages be careful to jot them down incase you do lose them.

The ring tone is nice and loud, you can alter the volume if you wish.

For me this is a very practical phone which is helpful for both myself and my husband when we don't want to use a mobile phone. The buttons are large enough for me and I'm glad I bought it. It is probably too chunky and old fashioned looking for the youngsters but for myself it is just fine.

I have just been playing with this today with my granddaughter and I must say I was most impressed with it! She does love buttons and things so this was an ideal present for her.

It's bright and colourful, it has many songs and words and it has lights that flash so it's really a toddlers dream!

There are three settings on this laptop which all promote education but in a fun way. There is a song setting so that every button that is pressed plays a different tune such as 'Go to sleep' 'twinkle twinkle' etc. The other setting tells the baby what shape they have pressed and what the object it is that it relates to at the top screen. The other setting talks about the picture on the shape and the picture on the screen these are things like a bath, a horn, a book etc. There are sound effects too such as splashing water or the sounds of a book turning.

What is very refreshing about this noisy toy is that there are lots of tunes that are played. With a lot of baby toys I find myself getting a little bored of hearing the same songs over and over but this has a good variety which helps stopping both myself and my grandchildren from getting bored. I like also how it is educational with having shapes and objects and sounds too.

It cost us £15 and I think that is very reasonable indeed as it does such a lot. It is very substantial which is agood job as it has taken quite a bit of a battering today from my granddaughter who has taken to trying to press the buttons with her feet!

It is quite stiff to open the lid although now my granddaughter i s18 months old she is able to open it herself but up until recently she did need help. It says "Shutting down now" if the keys haven't been pressed for a while which helps to get their attention back to the toy!
I am very impressed with this toy and I know my granddaughter is too as she really enjoyed playing with it today. I think for £15 it is a bargain. It's educational, fun, colourful, noisy and tough so great for children to play with and enjoy!

This baby walker is great! The typical kind of baby walker you may picture as one of them low lying plastic tables with wheels on which your baby would sit in and scoot around, banging into furniture and having a great time! Well now these walkers encourage your baby to be more upright, to have more freedom whilst walking and to not just be sitting down all the time. These are meant to be safer and better for your toddler.

They are available in various different colours but this is the one which we have as it's neutral so great for either of the grandchildren without it being an issue if it was geared towards one sex or the other.
There are various activities on it including buttons, lights, spinning things and this does detach so that if your baby can't reach it whilst it's upright then you can take it off easily and lay it down. This means that you can use this toy for more than just a walking aid, you can buy it before your baby is up to this stage and just use it as a little toy so you certainly can get your money's worth! We like to take this off for our little grandson to sit with on the floor and play with as if he tries to play with it whilst still attached to the wheels it often moves and he can stumble. He particularly likes the phone that comes with it!

It was easy to assemble and now it's put together we don't need to put it back together again so that ws a one off. The detachment is also easy although not for a child.

I think the negative of this is that it's quite noisy and repetitive tune wise so be warned you may develop a headache! The batteries last a long time we've only had to replace them once.

I think this is a great toy and at just £25 it's a bargain because you can use it for much longer than just the 'walking aid' age. It's brightly coloured and plastic so attractive to children and easy for us adults to clean!

We bought ours from Toys R us and I have seen them available in many other shops. I think they're a great buy so definitely recommend them to help give your child the confidence to walk and also a lot of fun time playing!

A note of caution though, I don't think that babies or toddlers should be left playing with this unattended as it is easy for them whilst they are so unsure footed to fall and they could bash themselves on this.

This pushchair we bought for when the grandchildren come to stay a few years ago,. We thought it would be a good idea to have our own pushchair here to save my daughter always having to bring one. We wanted one which would collapse small so it was easy to store, was lightweight for when we had to carry it and was reliable. We chose this one because it fitted the bill! This one is an OK pushchair although now we have changed to a different one i can see that this doesn't measure up compared to a different brand.

The pushchair looks really good. For a start it isn't one of them tiny strollers with a tiny seat, instead it has lots of space in the seat for your toddler and it is actually quite well padded despite being just a pushchair!

To strap your baby in it's easy and extremely safe. The straps extend with ease and come over both shoulders and secure between the legs. This is fine and it's extremely baby proof as it can't be undone by the babies as it's so stiff it's even difficult for me to do! I do think this is a bit of a let down actually as it is really very difficult to do especially if you are not used to it.

The seat reclines and although this is useful it isn't as good as the Silver Cross pram we now have- when it reclines all the way back it is extremely flat which is just a bit too reclined! When it is upright it isn't actually all that straight either especially not when compared to the silver cross pram.

The pushchair is very light weight so it's easy to lift in and out of the car which is really very useful it does also mean you have t obe careful when you are doing things like taking the baby out and it has a bag on the handle bars- because it is so light weight it is easy to tip up so be careful!

When collapsed it is very small but long and wouldn't fit in the boot of our polo so we ended up having it on the backseat which isn't ideal! I do wish we had checked this out first! It fits fine in our other car and I just assumed it would be fine as it looked so small!

It comes in a variety of colours and patterns. We had a red and black one so it was unisex but there are plenty of other ones too.

There is a useful basket under the seat to put a few bits and the handles on this seem at a good height.

The way this steers is very easy and it is quite a smooth ride despite the wheels being so small. The handles are separate so not a bar that goes straight across and this is useful for hanging bags on.

In my overall opinion I will give this a 3 which is a shame as it could have been so much better. It looks good and it's safe and it's very comfortable in my opinion. I like that it is easy to collapse and is light enough for me to carry. I however, do not like the reclining positions or the upright position and i'm not happy with the fact it's difficult to unstrap the baby!

I am new to the Zanussi brand, I usually stick with brands I have heard of but I heard many good things about this particular washing machine and so was keen to try it. I am glad I did as it is a super machine which works really well and is well worth the money that I paid for it. I highly recommend it to you.

I was quite alarmed by the price of £400 but from my experience with large electrical items like this if you pay that bit extra then you generally get a machine which is much better in quality and I am pleased to say in the case of this machine it certainly is true.

The washing machine is white so it goes well in any kitchen/laundry room and is front loading so it is easy to get your clothes in and out of unlike the top loading ones.

When I first got this home I was rather afraid of it as the programme setting is done through a computerised screen and I doubted my ability to be able to work out how to make this machine work but the instruction booklet was very straight forward and programming the machine itself is actually so simple that even someone as hopeless as I could work it out (I don't even know how to get a DVD player to work!)

There are many different cycles on this machine. When I had my other washing machines I just tended to stick to the same old setting, "Numer 5" and actually there has been psychological research carried out which shows that people tend to just stick to the same washing machine cycle as they're afraid to try anything different. With this machine I do actually use other settings as I understand what they do and how they will benefit me.

The cycles are great- there is a special one which is called "Super Rinse" which I use when washing the grandchildren's clothes. This ensures that the washing is rinsed thoroughly to help remove all of the washing powder which can really help people who have allergies and sensitive skin. It is such a good idea. Perhaps my other machines have had something similar but I've never been aware of it?!
Another cycle it has is a special nigh time cycle where it will wash but not spin so that it creates less noise. That being said though this machine isn't that noisy. Some washing machines can create lots of noise but I've found this one to be quieter than the other machines I have had before and never really notice this one.

It can spin up to 1,600 which is great, the more spins it does the dryer the washing is so the less time you have to spend drying it. It's fantastic!

The cycles vary in length but the machine computer display will show you how long it will take and you can alter this if you think it's going to take too long you can subtract various things like the amount of spins so it will be shorter. I really like the fact you can plan ahead with this, knowing how long it will take is such a useful factor which I never realised I lacked on my other machine until I had it on this. Now I really rely on it! There is also a time delay too where you can leave it up to 9 hours before going on, I sometimes choose this when I load the machine before bed and make it so it comes on first thing in the morning.

It holds a lot. It is 8kg capacity and takes huge loads. It will take your duvet too and even has a duvet cycle wash so you can clean your duvet without having to take it down to the laundrette!
The shortest cycle is 30 minutes but most cycles take around 45 which is super fast, my old washing machine was double that! It has a cycle which is AAA energy rated too so even though you are not taking as long washing the clothes it doesn't impact upon the amount of energy you are using- this surprised me!

Another 'green' fact is that Zanussi have a special feature- it can calculcate how much water is needed per wash. This means that it will only use the essential amount so it won't use excess water. This is great for your water bill and also shows how clever the machine is.
Oh it also has a child safety feature where the door won't open unless the cycle is finished- this will stop water spilling out onto the floor!

I am very happy with this machine. My clothes come out very clean as you would expect and hope from a washing machine and the fact that the cycles are so straight forward and easy to programme means that I do actually use them and it does make washing a variety of items much easier.
For £400 it is worth the money. I highly recommend this machine.
