In 2006 the fourth accessories pack was released for the game the Sims 2. This package is totally devoted to the holidays. This expansion contains only new objects, so no new neighborhoods or careers. You get 60 new objects which all have something to do with the holidays and you get all sorts of fun items as Christmas presents underneath the Christmas tree and even Santa Claus comes along! Plus you get objects to decorate your entire home and garden. For example you get the option to make a snowman in your yard, to put reindeer decorations and to decorate your entire house. You can now have a big bow on your door and snow on your window decorations and of course Christmas flowers. The package gives you Christmas items from around the world. You can also have Russian objects and such as a decorated cactus! The holidays are not complete without .... the right outfits. Yes you can also dress your Sims in traditional old-fashioned clothes, but how they (apparently) dress in Japan, India and other countries. This package is simply a joyous expansion in the sign of the holidays. It is also not too expensive and you have it for anything from five pounds. I always wonder whether these extensions are reallyworth something and I actually think that they should offered this just free via their website. But nevertheless just a nice extension. Unfortunately the objects are not interactive and you can for example not pick up the presents under the Christmas tree! Three stars.
The HTC Incredible S is most noticeable by its distinctive rear. The back of the phone is not completely flat, but in my eyes lies more comfortable in my hand. The back feels strong with the matte plastic and certainly not like it's going to break. On the back you will find the 8MP camera, a dual LED flash and the speaker. The front is less obvious but no less beautiful. It features a 1.3 MP front camera, a speaker, an LED light for notifications, a light sensor and a proximity sensor. You can also find the 4 buttons: home, menu, back and search. The special feature of these buttons is that they are only visible when the screen is on, and that they rotate as you rotate your phone. This phone has a 4 "super LCD screen. The resolution is not extremely high, but still more than adequate for a normal user. The colors are really vivid and the viewing angle is quite good. On the left you can find the volume keys and the micro-USB connector for charging and connecting to the PC, at the top is the 3.5mm audio jack with the button to switch the screen on and off. At the bottom side you can find finally yet an opening of the microphone. The HTC Incredible S comes with Android 2.2 Froyo. Yet it is possible to update the device to Android 2.3 Gingerbread. The navigation is smooth, no hitches in the graphics. There are 7 home tabs available to all your favorite (HTC) widgets and shortcuts. In the Android Play there are thousands of different apps to find all suitable for this phone. Also you can find alternative apps for the default apps that HTC offers. The text messages of this phone are very clear and easy to view. Maybe a little too boring for those who prefer some color. But it is possible to have an alternative app. All messages are sorted per person conversations. The display is similar to the display on an iPhone, like many smartphones. You can also synchronize your contacts with Facebook so you see the photo of your contact. There are different ways of typing. You can choose a standard mobile phone keyboard, a full keyboard (like on the computer), or a limited keyboard (a full keyboard with 2 letters on 1 button). This phone has 2 cameras, one front and one rear. The front camera can be used for video calling but also to take ordinary photos with. This camera has 1.3 MP and doesn't take the best pictures, but is handy in certain apps. The camera on the back has 8 MP and can therefore take so much better pictures. This camera has an autofocus, which you also can setup and it has a dual LED flash. Also you can take videos in 720p with this camera. The camera app is pre-installed, it is quite useful and good quality. So you can apply effects, adjust light sensitivity, zoom, switch between the cameras. This phone has the standard Android browser installed. This looks very basic, but is still very convenient and fast to use. The phone has both 3G and WiFi to connect to the Internet. Also, this phone serves as a wireless modem. He can turn the 3G signal into WiFi, which in places without WiFi is handy so you still can connect to the internet on your PC. The music app has me a little disappointed. The possibilities are quite limited and some features are also very difficult to find. You can have music by artist, album, playlist and genre, but I still have not found how you can find just a song. The music quality is fairly high, the phone therefore has SRS software to make it a little better sound. The radio is always very useful, but only available when a headset is connected, because that is used as an antenna. About the battery is not much to tell. It is a 1450mAh battery, which is not extreme, but still not really enough. In normal use you can last around all day. This mobile phone has surprised me with regard to price and quality. I really like the design of the back and the sleek design of the front. The performance is more than enough for my expectations. The 1 GHz processor with more than 700 MB of RAM ensures that each app runs smoothly and that the device also responds quickly to all. The screen is also really great, the colors are stunning and the touchscreen is very sensitive and precise. Only the music app has disappointed me
Sims Free Time Sims 2 is all about creating so-called sims, which you can control. You control their lives with making friends, getting into a relationship and having a career. This is the same as the first part of this game. But the biggest changes were nevertheless that Sims could become old and the woman could get really pregnant. Back in Part 1 the sims retained the same age and people could only have children after they romantic way interacted (kissing and hugging). The woman didn't became pregnant then, but the phone rang asking if you wanted a child. Not realistic. In part 2 sims can really get pregnant after they have gone to bed together and allows your baby to grow up to an elderly person and even death. Sims 2 Free Time With this expansion pack your sims can really enjoy hobbies. Your Sims have access to a variety of creative, intellectual or active leisure activities. They can even share their interests and expand their social relationships. Your Sims can develop skills while they are enjoying. The ten hobbies included in the expansion pack are fitness, cooking, music / dance, sports, nature, science, movies / literature, games, crafts and arts / crafts. Each Sim gets a predetermined favorite hobby that cannot be changed by the player. You can just do other hobbies only your sim gets here less satisfaction. Your sims can develop skills in their hobbies. So you get a new meter that shows how well your sim gets at his hobby. Real rewards when you get better aren't really there but you get some new possibilities. It itself is very nice thought the idea that your sims suddenly can you hobbies, but in fact my sim is already busy gathering skills he needs to move up to get in terms of work and in addition, he was busy with making and keeping some friends. The idea is nice, but in reality it adds little. You can gain little from these hobbies. In my view disappointing and not very innovative product.
Sims 2 Pets Sims 2 is all about creating so-called sims, which you can control. You control their lives in making friends, getting into a relationship and having a career. This is the same as the first part of this game. But the biggest changes were nevertheless that Sims could be really become old and the woman really pregnant. Back to Part 1 they maintained the same age and people could only have children, after much together in a romantic way interacted (kissing and hugging). The woman was therefore not pregnant, but the phone rang asking if you wanted a child. Not realistic. In Part 2, your Sims can actually get pregnant after they have gone to bed together and allows your baby to grow up to an elderly person and even death. The Sims 2 Pets is an expansion pack that should be added to the original Sims 2 on the computer. You need the original Sims 2 game to have this extension installed. This game does best on fairly fast computers, if you have a slow computer, the game is very frustrating to play as it would take forever to load, because it's rather a large game. In this expansion pack you will be able to keep your own pets! Cats, dogs, puppies, guinea pigs, birds and fish can all be kept in your house! You see your animals growing up really such a puppy into an adult dog and will even die. When making your family in the beginning, you can now create their own cat or dog and as if you want. You are able, for example to change the coat color, eyes, personality and more. The personalities include how smart, independent, cowardly, hyper and lazy the pet is. Your Sims can interact with the pets. They can they walk the dogs, bathe, play with them, love / attention, promise or punish them. The pets do everything a normal pet in real life can do. Example, they can tear up your couch, sleep on the couch, aggressive toward others and a lot of barking. Always remember that your pets needs to eat. If you let them starve then they will die! They also need to occasionally bathe or otherwise their hygiene is very low which in turn has a negative effect on their behavior. Make sure you have a good relationship. If your sims are struggling with the financial side of life, your pet can help! You can give your pet a job just like an adult! This can be a job as a guard or example in showbiz. They can also come in higher by training them and then they earn more money! Well this is a really good extension. Finally a time not just some silly items like nothing to add. This expansion really adds to the game and what almost literally change the lives of your Sims. A pet can be an essential part of the life of a sim. The interaction with the animals is greatly improved compared to part 1 and pets look like a real sims. They can even get a job! It makes the game more complex and realistic.
Unplugged (Live Recording) - Corrs (The) The Corrs is a Celtic rock band from Ireland consisting of the three sisters and a brother of the Corr family. In 1995 they released their first album called "Forgiven, Not Forgotten and scored reasonably well here. In 1996 they really broke through with a performance at the Olympics. Since then they have released five albums, all well-received around the world. Already for some years it is very quiet for The Corrs. They have taken a break, especially since three of the members want to spend time with their family (children) and one wants to pursue her solo career. The Corrs are known mainly for their musical talents and so does each family member plays an instrument and they all sing. With this Unplugged version you can really see how good they are. There is also the DVD version of this album. Only When I sleep is actually an interesting opening of the CD mainly because it is a slow song. It is a ballad with beautiful lyrics and they really show of their vocal ability. The chorus is definitely catchy and very nice use of the instruments. The song 'Radio' is perhaps the best song on the album. The song starts with a strong beat of the drum / guitar and Andrea then begins to sing. From that moment you are hooked. The beat is infectious and soon you start singing along and tapping with the rhythm. Again you notice the cheerful Irish influence on the song. Sharon plays during the song the violin and that gives a nice cozy / rustic touch to the song. Forgive Not Forgotten is a song where the Irish background is certainly evident. During the song, the piano and violin certainly come forward, but also the electric drum beat. As the song continues it transforms itself into a more upbeat rock song where the vocals are powerful. "Queen of Hollywood" is one of my favorites, when I first had to get used to it. It is a dramatic ballad in which the rate remains slow. The use of instruments is minimal and it gives you almost a floating sensation. The vocals are beautiful. So young is more of an up tempo song where the Corrs are certainly known for. The vocals come back to the fore, but also the guitar. The song is like good fun and has a more dramatic piece in the middle with violins but is certainly contagious. If you're a fan of The Corrs then this album is definitely recommended. It is a beautiful collection of songs they've released so far, but the best about this album is the acoustic. I have been to a concert from The Corrs and then they are simply the best. You can notice that they are one family and they work well together. They clearly have fun during the show. The songs are well chosen and even more than 10 years later I still listen to this album occasionally.
Katy Perry is an American singer and she writes her own music. Her debut single "I kissed a Girl ' was a huge hit, especially because of the lyrics of the song and music video. She was launched around the world and received international fame. Despite its challenging single, she grew up very religious. Her real name is Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson, but she has changed the name because looks too much like Kate Hudson. Self she indicates that the band Queen and Alanis Morissette has the biggest influences on her music. Katy Perry's second album, 'Teenage Dream' is an unstoppable force on the charts. While her debut was admittedly a bit patchy, with a few standouts, this album is really refreshing and I did not feel to skip the songs. The album is inspired by euphoric joy of pop bands such as Abba and The Cardigans. Katy Perry herself has written the songs on the album with the help of others of course. The album begins with the title track, the warm romantic 'Teenage Dream'. Inspired by her ex-husband, Russell Brand, the song is about the joy of finding your partner with the same feelings of your first love in your childhood. The soft guitar and drum beats are a bit standard for the producers of this song Dr. Luke and Max Martin, but the sudden rush of the chorus gives you tend to quickly adjust the volume. 'Last Friday Night (TGIF)' is again a standard Max Martin and Dr. Luke, because the production sounds almost identical to Pink's "Raise Your Glass' song. But the saxophone solo in the middle and Katy's quirky lyrics help the song for sure. It is certainly a good party song with a good beat and some humor, which certainly makes good to listen to it. The third song needs no introduction. "California Gurls" with Snoop Dogg was a big hit in 2010. Katy Perry wrote it as its own spin on Empire State of Mind, through her own dedication to California. The production by Dr. Luke has the song very mainstream by light autotune vocals and a bit too artificial production. "Firework" is already became a huge worldwide hit, and it is not hard to see why. It is a club-friendly track with a good beat and a catchy chorus but one that I had heard several times in order to appreciate. I first heard this song with a live performance. It is especially a loud song, but a nice happy upbeat song with occasional quiet moments. 'The One that Got Away "is pretty standard in the field of production, but for me it is one of the hidden gems of the record. It feels more autobiographical and more seriously, a good break from the more up beat songs. It a surprisingly subdued pace and a nice melody which is certainly an addictive effect. A surprisingly good album from Katy Perry. As mentioned earlier that I expect she would not long sustain and that only her first album would be a success, but really glad she continues with releasing good songs. It's a nice pop dance album and very catchy songs. It is an album that actually there is really no songs that I skip when listening. The songs fit well with each other here and there a few slow songs, but otherwise mainly good up beat songs. Five stars for this album by Katy Perry.
Rihanna was born in 1988 in Saint Michael Barbados. Really a nice childhood she seems not to have had and was mainly affected by the drug addiction of her father. She already began singing at age seven. In 2003 she met producer Evan Rogers where she auditioned along with two classmates, but she was the only one who made a real impression. Only two years later and after completing her high school education Evan Rogers went with four demos of Rihanna along to the record companies like Def Jam Recordings and they were sold. Since then she is still affiliated with Def Jam Recordings. In total, they released six albums. This album is the 6th studio album! Not bad when you think that she is around 23 years old. This album was released in november 2011 and has received generally positive reviews. Rihanna brought a very strong first single from the album that was one of the best songs of the year. The album is a mix of dance, electro, R & B and reggae. All songs on the album are very individual and different from anything we have heard from Rihanna. The album is quite short with only 11 tracks and a total playing time of 38 minutes. You Da One. The album kicks off with this fun, pop song which was released as second single. For me, this song is a bit slow and boring to listen to. It has a reggae vibe that I love, but it's a bit whiny and repetitive in some parts of song. I'm not really mad at Rihanna's voice and in my opinion it is not one of the strongest songs on the album. We Found Love. We Found Love is the familiar first single from this album. This song, in my opinion, is one of the best she has ever released. It has very catchy lyrics and had an amazing artistic video. It has a great beat and is more up tempo and a great dance song. Talk That Talk. On this song she has collaborated with Jay-Z. This song remains away from the pop / dance genre and is just pure R & B. Personally I think this kind of music just fits better and it's a great song on the album. It reminds me of how Rihanna sounded on her album Rated R, more R & B. Birthday Cake. The title already sounds vague and that is the song. It is certainly a less song on the album. Cake is a word which comes up about 1,000 times in the song and sounds like a mess. Definitely one to skip. Drunk on Love. Rihanna's emotions are evident in this song. It is certainly a strong song and is more instrumental. The song is about love and that you only need it in life. Towards the end of the song is more a dance beat that's surprisingly close to the front. Generally this is a reasonable album, but it flies in all directions. You have nice dance songs, beautiful ballads and songs about sex. I'm a fan of Rihanna, but this album strikes me somewhat of a disappointment. Normally she is very consistent, but with this album she comes across as hurried. There are however a few very good songs on this album, but the combination with the other songs they almost fade. I think 'We Found Love "is absolutely the best song closely followed by" Farewell. " Three stars for me.
The Corrs is a Celtic rock band from Ireland consisting of the three sisters and a brother of the Corr family. This is the second album by Irish band The Corrs and released in the year 1997. It is an album that had some success internationally and has been released in America. With this album, they have focused primarily on live performances and on television and three years later came the next album. Below is a discussion of some songs. Only When I sleep is actually an interesting opening of the CD mainly because it is a slow song. It is a ballad with beautiful lyrics and were the Corrs really show off they voices. The chorus is definitely catchy and very good use of the instruments. "When he's not around" is the second song on the album is a more relaxed summer song. There is good use of the violin and is nice especially with the catchy vocals of Andrea emerges great. A good song on the album, but not the strongest song. So young is more of an up tempo song where the Corrs certainly are known for. The vocals come back to the foreground, but also the guitar. The song is most part just fun, to a more small dramatic part with violins but is certainly contagious. "Queen of Hollywood" is one of my favorites, when I first had to get used to it. It is a dramatic ballad in which the rate remains slow. The use of instruments is minimal and it gives you almost a floating sensation. The vocals are beautiful and you are well involved in the song. A pretty good album with The Corrs more clearly on their way to go pop and rock and Celtic Irish influences are more on the background. The album has very few instrumental songs as on the previous album. It is a musical family where everyone plays an instrument. I love the Corrs with the more cheerful Celtic songs and this album generally remains too slow for me. Not a bad album, but reasonable.
Madonna - Celebration It is the third Greatest Hits album by Madonna and is also available as DVD. The album also contains three new songs and the album contains 18 songs total. The Deluxe version contains 36 songs. This is the standard version. The songs are focused on pop and dance genre. Below is a discussion of some songs: Hung Up Hung Up is one of the new songs of Madonna. When you listen you will recognize the tune of ABBA's Gimme Gimme more. It is a good dance song with a good up tempo beat. It's a bit overproduced and especially the voice of Madonna's is electro-like, but it certainly sounds good to my ears. Music This number is equal to the electro pop music influences and the song begins with a male voice saying: 'DJ put the record on. I wanna dance with my baby. "Then comes the whole clear electro beat to the fore after about 20 seconds, the voice of Madonna is soft and the infectious beat is clearly there. It is a more mid tempo song which certainly sounds good. Like a Virgin One of the most famous songs of Madonna's Like A Virgin. The obvious younger Madonna has a much rougher voice that certainly fits well with this song. The song is a mid tempo song and what is primarily a teasing number. Even now it would be good fit in the top 40 with a minor change. Definitely catchy song. Like a Prayer A nice dramatic song Like a Prayer with church influences as the organ. Madonna begins the song with a calm voice after dramatically the tempo goes up. Quite dramatically the song has a choir in the background. A good original song that definitely should not be missed on this album. Ray of Light Ray Of Light is an song where Madonna clearly struck a somewhat different way. It still has the electro pop influences with a dance background, but it's also kind of esoteric. It shows again how good Madonna has grown and funny enough you can hear a big difference in her voice. The rawness is definitely gone. Secret With secret comes suddenly the guitar and dance electro influences are all suddenly gone. A very laid back song with mostly just the guitar and the voice of Madonna. A pleasant change. A nice song. Erotica I think the title of this song says enough. The song sounds a bit teasing and Madonna has a sexual voice again. The explicit lyrics fit the song title and the groans here and there of course fits well with. A fairly good song with a nice mid tempo beat. Express Yourself Another classic is the song Express Yourself. It's a nice happy upbeat pop song and really a song to dance to. The pace remains good throughout the song good. It has electro influences, but they are still more the drums beat what the states. Just a nice upbeat song. Conclusion It is a good collection of songs from the last few albums from Madonna. The last released songs like 4 Minutes and Hung Up make the album more modern, but I'm glad there are old songs like Like A Virgin and Like A Prayer. The album clearly shows the difference of the Madonna then and now, yet you recognize certain elements to say that they are typical Madonna songs. I certainly was not disappointed with this album and it's a nice collection.
Hard Candy is the eleventh studio album by Madonna realeased in the year 2008. It was the last album that was released by Warner Bros. record label. Records where she was for 25 years. On the album she has had cooperation of famous people like Justin Timberlake, Timbaland and Pharrell Williams. The album has pop, dance and r & b influences. Below is a discussion of some songs: 4 Minutes (featuring Justin Timberlake and Timbaland) The song begins with Timbaland singing 'I'm out of time, I only got four minutes "repeated about ten times until you hear Madonna. It is an up tempo song with dance and hip hop influences where you mainly hear a kind of drum corps (marching band) in the background. You also hear Justin Timberlake on this track. It's reasonable number, but contagious. Give It 2 Me Give it 2 me go on a somewhat faster pace than the previous songs and has a fast beat in the background. It has more dance and electro influences with a sort of ticking (looks like a cow bell) in the background. It is a nice up beat song, but little original. Incredible Incredible is a somewhat fuzzy song with a clear beat, but Madonna's voice sounds a bit strange and more in the background. During the singing her voice remains a little blurry and the beat is more to the foreground. Madonna raps almost more than singing and hip hop influences are clearly present. Not really my song. Dance 2night (featuring Justin Timberlake) Justin Timberlake does it again with this song and his style is clearly heard. The song has a slower beat but also a funky feel to it. It is a laid back song with both Justin and Madonna singing. The song will remain the entire time more mid tempo and sounds delicious. Spanish Lesson The number has the Spanish Latin influence and has a good start with the guitar. I like Madonna singing in Spanish but then she gives the translation of what you is singing. It sounds a little childish and I would have preferred more serious lyrics. The guitar sounds good. A reasonable album primarily with a few good songs like 4 Minutes with Justin Timberlake and Give it 2 me. In addition there are some weaker tracks that do not really come forward and what often sound the same. The electro pop is again evident and this often works for me but only with the up beat tempo songs and not the slow songs. In the slow songs the beat dominats too often. A reasonable album, but had expected better. Three stars.
Dragon Age: Origins takes place in the country Ferelden. This is on the continent Thelas. The world is, roughly speaking, similar to the fantasy setting of the books of The Lord Of The Rings. So you have people like dwarves, elves and various evil beings. At the beginning of the game you choose a character. You choose a human, elf or dwarf, and adjust the face and hair of him or her. Also choose a class, namely the warrior, mage or thief. Based on this choice you can choose 1 or 2 background stories. This choice is especially important for the first 1 to 1.5 hours of the game. In total there are six of these aperture settings, making the different for some else to play. One example is an elf. You can choose to play as a elf with a background as a nomad travelling around or an elf who lives as a slave in the city. Dragon Age: Origins looks rather old-fashioned. It looks like all the Middle Ages. You can find some stones and wooden settlements in the world. You visit frozen ruins, a castle, dark caves, dangerous forests, etc. By means of a map can be reasonably travel freely between these locations. So you can largely choose where you first go and often you can also revert to an earlier location. These sites can be populated with enemies, but also normal people where you can accept assignments, trade with or get information. A major difference between the PC and console versions is the camera. On the console version, the camera is behind your character. The PC version you can also do this, but the camera is above you, and you can also zoom in and out. The PC version has for me a better view during battles. You start with a single character, but you'll meet several characters who for various reasons want to go with you. Some may refuse you now or later, only one character is always with them during the story. You can take up to four characters at once when you are on the go. The rest sit in the waiting room. You can choose who you take with you, but a good balance between mage, warrior and thief and a character from 1 of these three classes is useful. You can change the game play in various modes. With the easiest mode it is possible that you focus especially on your own character and let the computer automatically control allies to do their thing. Harder settings require more tactics. First you have to choose what a character who you do not control can't or can do during the game. For example you can say that a magician should always keep his distance and a magician can also be set as a healer and a warrior should be more aggressive. You have mainly traditional weapons such as swords, clubs, knives and bows and arrows. Magicians sometimes use staffs. A good mix of weapons for near and far is recommended, though any character sets carry two types of weapons. For protection, various types of armor can be found or purchased, but also lighter clothing such as a garment care. The fighting may well be chaotic, because you will sometimes have about 20 enemies against you. Especially the little magician with life energy and little protective clothing can quickly die. There are several types of enemies in the Dragon Age world, like bandits from the different races can come, but also demonic creatures, skeletons, ghosts, dragons and giant spiders. These enemies have their strengths and weaknesses, such as sensitivity to heat, ice, etc. This allows you to choose the right weapons and items to defeat an enemy. Some enemies are fairly easy, others difficult. Dragon Age: Origins is more than just fighting. Whole sections of the game you're talking. Unfortunately the main character during the dialogues does not use his own voice, but you see in the form of texts several options. These options are very noble or even malicious. Also your speech skill affects the dialogues with the characters in the world. Choices you take during the dialogues, can affect parts of the story, as if some characters no longer want to be with you if you're too evil. On the other hand, your characters fall in love, while another character then gets jealous. Besides the main story there are several small stories you find particularly by exploring the world. They can provide hours of extra playing time. Around 50 hours in total you can play this game I would say. Since the game can be replayed with a different race, background and style of play you can easily play the game again and again. It took years before I finally bought Dragon Age: Origins. The game has a good and compelling story, with good dialogues with the characters which can affect the story. I noticed that I often used the same characters because they are more my style with their skills. There are some minor setbacks. So the world looks a bit old, but fortunately diverse. I had also wanted the main character had a voice during the dialogues. Also I find that sometimes you have to fight too long or dialogues are too long. Overall four stars.
Something to remember is a compilation album by Madonna released in the year 1995. The album is totally different than her previous albums and contains more ballads, but there are also three new songs and some old songs not previously appeared on her albums. These are softer songs of Madonna. Below is a discussion of some songs: I Want You I want you is the first song on the album and begins with a kind of knocking sound after another and quickly an electro beat begins to play. It has a somewhat vague beginning and the song remains in a slow tempo. You hear violins in the background and a sultry voice of Madonna. It is a kind of ballad only by the obvious beat sounds a little harder this time. Not one of my favorites. I'll Remember This song begins on a much happier note and a good guitar beat. Madonna's voice still sounds soft, but what goes halfway through the song a little harder. The song remains at a mid tempo, but it is certainly contagious which gradually the drum emerges. Definitely a lot better than the first number. Crazy for You Crazy for you is a slower ballad with the use of the guitar and even a bit of Spanish influence. It remains a slow song with Madonna overall a soft voice. The song feels a lot more personal and I like the voice of Madonna certainly at this song. Certainly not wrong. Live to Tell Llive to tell begins somewhat dramatic but in a gentle way with the drums and especially here and there like electro pop sounds. It's a classic Madonna and I like this song. It is a calm song but again Madonna shows another side of her. The song has much more soul and substance, and it sounds certainly not wrong. Forbidden Love Forbidden Love by Madonna yet again goes back to the sound like the Erotica album. It is a somewhat sultry song and especially the voice of Madonna sounds tempting and soft. It is about love and you get lyrics like 'In your arms and in your eyes. " The quietly sultry song with no clear beat and where it is more about the voice of Madonna. Conclusion This album shows Madonna clearly a softer and sensual side of her. For this album she had more of a particularly shocking and sexual image. The song certainly shows a softer side of her and there are mainly ballads on this album. No over-produced tracks with an obvious beat, but more laid back songs that are sure nice to hear. Not a bad album, but here and there a bit too sweet.
When you're talking about pop music than you quickly talk about Madonna. Born in 1958 they call her the Queen of Pop. This American singer has sold more than 300 million albums and is considered the best-selling singer at all time. The first album was released in the year 1983. She is not only busy with music but is also an actress, director and has many more things. Simply put everyone has ever heard of Madonna. True Blue is the third studio album of Madonna and was released in 1986. Funny to think that I was only three years old. The album is about love, but also about work, dreams and disappointments. There are unfortunately only nine songs on this album, but again hats off to Madonna who has co-written every song. The songs fit the pop, dance and some rock genre. Below is a discussion of some songs: Papa Do not Preach A famous song of Madonna is Papa Do not Preach. It is a somewhat synthetic pop song with a nice drum beat. You hear some raw, clear young voice of Madonna that fits well with the song. The chorus is pretty catchy and it sounds good where the rate goes up slightly. In general it is a great mid tempo song. Live to Tell Again this song comes with clear pop influences, but it is generally a slow song and almost a sort of ballad. Madonna's voice is more in the background and sounds soft. What halfway through the song she sings more powerful, but it remains generally calm with the song includes the use of the drums and the guitar. La Isla Bonita A more Hawaii like good happy song. It is a mid tempo song with Madonna's voice a little softer. The song remains generally fairly slow with a nice beat. Love Makes the World Go Round A more electro-pop like song. It is especially in the beginning the song is more up tempo and the voice of Madonna also sounds a lot rougher and harder. It is a song that here and there becomes faster. A nice up tempo song but not one of the strongest. Conclusion An album with clearly more pop rock and dance influences. It's a nice cheerful album with some good up-tempo songs, but I must say that the slow songs certainly sound good. Especially Papa Do not Preach is a more rock-like song. The songs each have their own identity but fit well together and you have a good variety of somewhat fast and slow songs. It sounds generally less pop-like and that is certainly not wrong. Four stars.
Madonna - You Can Dance This is the first remix album by Madonna released in the year 1987. The album features songs from her first three albums: Madonna, Like A Virgin and True Blue. In addition there is also a new song called Spotlight which is also released as a single in 1988. The rest of the songs are all redesigned and now fit more into the dance genre. Spotlight With a nice drum beat the album starts well. The synthetic pop sound comes to the foreground and it's definitely an 80's dance song. Madonna's voice also sounds more synthetic but it fits with the song. It is a nice mid-tempo song, but the song lasts more than six minutes and towards the end it is a bit long. Holiday The famous Madonna song Holiday revamped, but you certainly recognize the original. The beat beneath the song sounds a lot louder and more present in the foreground. Madonna's voice is still the same and the lyrics are not changed. I thought it was a nice mid tempo song. Everybody Everybody starts as with a singing Madonna but she is more present in the background and the drum beat is more to the fore. This actually continues throughout the song making it for me monotonous. Here and there you'll hear some more synthetic sounds, but he takes too long for me with almost seven minutes. Physical Attraction The song begins with a nice synthetic pop beat that you hear throughout the song. Madonna's voice sounds here and there rawer than the previous songs and sounds good. The song is upbeat and keeps the pace pretty good. Conclusion An album with only a few good songs, but most songs are almost all around the seven minutes, so you have more than an hour of music. The problem for me is however, that if you do not like a song, it still lasts seven minutes. Also songs quickly sound monotonous by the length and the synthetic pop sound. I prefer the originals songs. Three stars.
The full name of Birdy is Jasmine van den Bogaerde. Birdy is a fifteen year old girl born on 15 May 1996. When you hear her music you would not think that she is only fifteen years. At twelve she won a talent contest and three years later she came out with her first single. This single was a good success in England and some other countries of Europe. Birdy is her first album released in 2011. Birdy - Birdy The first album from Birdy has exactly 11 songs and the duration is about 36 minutes. You can buy the CD in standard and deluxe version. 1901 Birdy plays the piano and the instrument is also evident on the album. The number 1901 also begins with this instrument and after about 20 seconds you hear the warm soulful voice of Birdy. It's hard to imagine that she is 15 years. It is a fairly slow song, but not a ballad. You can hear the piano, drums and occasional guitar. It is a nice laid back song. Skinny Love With the song Skinny Love by Birdy she really became famous. Again the piano is also very present and the only instrument used. This makes the number very pure and especially Birdy's voice shines on the foreground. It is a beautiful ballad led by the voice of Birdy here and there and rate increases and becomes a bit loud, but generally calm. A beautiful pure but powerful song. People help the people People help the people has been released as a single end of 2011, and fits with the two previous songs, but is slightly more powerful. Again plays the piano key role in the voice of Birdy. Birdy's voice is powerful, emotional, and here and there screaming in the positive sense. Halfway through the song the pace and you can hear the drums. A pretty powerful song. White Winter Hymnal The song White Winter Hynmal begins with a cheerful piano and the song quickly feel at all that woolly. Birdy's voice sounds in a kind of chorus, so the voice sounds fuller and reinforced. I can not say that I really like it sounds here and there I find the song loud in voting. One of the lesser songs for me. District Sleeps Alone Tonight One of the few songs that starts with the drums, but soon the piano again deployed. These two tools work wonderfully together. The full voice of Birdy soon begins to sing the song and gives the song some soul that it needs. It is a slow song with here and there that the pace and take the voice of Birdy also increases. Conclusion That Birdy is only fifteen years is very difficult to believe because she has a beautiful voice filled with power and soul. I would rather believe that she is at least twice as old. Her soulful voice makes this album a success. I'd almost compare her with an artist like Adele. She also often makes use of instruments like the drums and the piano. It is a pleasant change of artists often use synthetic pop and beats. This album of Birdy is very laid back and therefore here and there too slow for me. Especially towards the end the numbers are a little too slow and a bit less. It is an album for the evening to have with a glass of wine to enjoy it. Great album and four stars.
