The tefal actifry is amazing!! Using only one table spoon of oil it can make your choice of chips with a capacity of 1 kilo of chips(enough for a family of 4-5), both fries or fat chips. A massive advantage of this is that it is easy to clean as it doesn't contain a gallon of oil which then needs to be thrown in the drain which also wastes your money. The internal part of the actifry is non stick which again makes life a whole lot easier for cleaning.
This is great for your health and reduces the amount of times you need to go to the chippy. The taste of the chips are brilliant, there not too dry and are crisp on the outer side and soft and fluffy in the middle. It also has a more purer taste than buying chips from the local fish and chip shop as the oil you use is not fried a million times before, its fresh and clean oil thus leading to the perfect chip. It also keeps its shape in the rotating drum in which the chips are cooked which I was shocked about.
1kg of chips can be cooked in around 20 minutes and once the oil is added and the tempreture is set you can just forget about it as it will turn the spuds and do all the work for you. You can pick up this fryer for around £90 now whereas I bought it for £120 a year ago.
Don't just think that this is just for the humble chips, you can make great flavoured chips by sprinkling garlic, herbs and spices. This also makes great sweet potato chips, wedges and parsnip chips so its quite versatile. And tis the season for roast potatoes!!
The avatar blu ray is a two disk dvd and blu ray package so that you can compare the picture quality, it also comes with two cases ( a card outer casing and the typical plastic blu ray box casing). The running time is 155 minutes or the extended version is 171 minutes. Altogether this makes a lengthy 8 hours of material in total. This movie is truly epic, with an amazing story line it has won 3 oscars.
In the cinemas it was a unique experience to watch such amazing graphics in addition to it being in 3D. The blu ray version is currently not available in blu ray but as it stand, its the best blu ray I own. The 1080p resolution shows avatars bright and wonderful colour and amplifies it.
Apart from comparing with the blu ray, the dvd version that comes along with it is not useful. The director is the globally known James Cameron who also directed great movies such as Titanic and The terminator. The story is similar to Dances with Wolves. The cast of avatar is great, Sam Worthington(Terminator salvation), Sigourney Weaver (Alien) and Zoe Saldana(Star trek).
The sound is also as crisp and clear as the picture and its available to watch in several languages such as English, Spanish, Portuguese and French. Its region 2 so its compatible with the ps3 and all dvd players in Europe.
I suggest that you wait for the 3D blu ray which will be released in the coming months. Now that I look forward to.
I received this dell quiet key keyboard with my desktop pc last year. Being only £10-15 its reasonably priced however I cannot say that its good value for money as its the complete opposite. The keys are big which makes this comfortable to use. I also found that its not very quiet as when you type it makes the annoying keyboard sound, now thats okay but when a keyboard claims to be quiet and then isnt, thats a bad product. It also has very large spaces between each letter, this makes it unhygienic as a lot of dust and bacteria can get into those spaces and spread.
Now this keyboard broke down on me just one month after using it. One month!!, I keeped it in good condition yet its fails. This is ridiculous, I have had experience with bad keyboards in my time but this was on another level bad. The size of the keyboard is huge, both in thickness, length and width hence the appearance is also not good as its too bulky. The proccessing is good and its also easy to use/install. I believe that there are much better keyboards out there for the same price as this. I have ditched this keyboard and I strongly urge you not to buy it.

I got the breville vtt205 last December on the boxing day sales for £25. A toaster is a toaster at the end of the day, its job is simple: to toast bread. This and all other toasters in the world do this perfectly. This toaster has a few features available such as toasting a frozen slice of bread and warming bread without much toasting. The time can be adjusted to your requirements for toasting bread. I use it for waffles(sweet), muffins and potato cakes so its not just for the humble bread.
It has 2 compartments in which food is entered and once the foods are toasted it pops up(like nearly every toaster ever made). Hence the title, the toaster only has two compartments so its good for small families whereas a four compartment toaster would be more convenient but none the less you can make two batches of two toasts(it will just take longer). The toaster I have is different to the one is the picture, same model, same features but different appearance. I have checked the model number located underneath the toaster and it is definitely the vtt205. My one is a shiny black and when its toasting it has a blue led light that comes on which is appealing. I personally prefer the black version as this one looks dull. The toaster crumb tray is easy to remove and to clean. The toaster itself is easy to use.... its a no brainer. As far as toasters go this is flawless. I strongly urge you to purchase it if you are looking for a great toaster on a cheap budget.

I bought the logitech c160 webcam last April in order to keep in touch with my sister in manilla via skype. I managed to buy it for £10 from ebay which was a bargain at the time. The appearance is decent, its not too big and can be clipped onto laptop or desktop screens easily. Its really easy to set up and to install, it lasts long without giving any problems what so ever. Its got a snap shot button located on the top of the webcam, the webcam is wired and doesnt zoom in.
The picture quality is great, the colours are vibrant and clear. Its obviously not hd camera but will do the job of video chatting. The camera is also fast, it shows live video without much delay. The microphone included is good but not great, it has a fuzzy sound in the backround so I recommend buying a seperate microphone(which is only about £5). It sits perfectly on top of a LCD monitor, the clip snaps on perfectly on my monitor and even laptops.
Coming from logitech theres no doubt that this is reliable and made of great quality. If your looking for a good webcam on a tight budget then I strongly urge you to give this a go, you wont regret it!

I bought this phillips juicer for my new apartment at £65 on a christmas sale last year. The juicer looks great and is made of the best materials to ensure that it lasts long. The size of it is big but not too big, the machine itself is very powerful (700w) and the juice that runs out is super clear without any bits what so ever. The nozzle that the juice runs from can also be pushed slightly upwards to reduce spillage.
The machine can take in whole apples without the need of peeling and coring which is marvelous and time saving. In fact the input whole is so big that it can take in nearly all fruit or vegetables without cutting(of course not melons and papaya).
The juicer truely extracts all the juice out of the fruit/veg as I have squeezed the pulp and its really dry, to minimize wastage I use the apple pulp and preserve it with sugar and make an apple chutney, its perfect as its dry.
Its fairly easy to clean as it is suitable for dishwashers, but if like me you do not own a dish washer then this can be a nightmare to wash. The razor sharp blades are very small and require patience and extreme precision to clean as it can cut your hand( yes it has happened to me in the past). There are a lot of compartments to clean, but its well worth it if you bulk-juice it. I juice a lot of fruit and veg together and keep it in a sterilized bottle and it lasts me up to a week.
I recommend to try this recipe:
2 inches of ginger
half a cucumber
a handful of blueberries(to add antioxidents)
This will pack a punch and also its fiberlicous, you will feel great the next day. Pour into a jug and top up with orange juice to increase its sweetness if you prefer.
I bought this york bench as I already had the barbell with weights and needed to work out my chest. I purchased this item for £80 at the time (1 year ago) and this is not cheap nor expensive for a bench. Its great for sit ups and other aerobic exercises but its not very good for bench pressing which is the main exercise I wanted to do but it fails on delivering. The bench itself is not stable and feels like its about to collapse when benching moderate weights so I choose not to bench heavy weights which makes this product useless. I'm not comfortable with using it while its creaking and wobbling so I wouldn't recommend to anyone, even beginners shouldn't buy this as eventually they will progress onto heavy weights and the bench will not be able to hold it. This product looks physically appealing, but the fact that it cannot hold big weights makes it rubbish. Ditch the bench I say, invest a few pounds extra and buy a decent bench.
I bought the york chin up bar a couple of months ago and its been very effective for workouts. This product is available for around £10 if you have a good look around which I think is great value for money as it works out your forearms and bicep a lot aswell as your triceps. But this isnt the only reason I love it, the small stick is so compact as it can extend to fit any doorways thats the reason I love it! The product is made by york so you know its a brand you can trust. Its also durable to heavy weights as its made out of a heavy metal(it can manage to hold upto 100 kg). Its easy to use and to store not to mention that you will be ripped after just a couple of months of use, what more could you ask for? Thanks for reading this review, hope it helps.
I bought the ipod nano 4g as it was on offer and was also an apple devotee. I wanted an mp4 Player that can play music and play videos, now the ipod nano certainly delivers but it does it badly. The device is very boring. The only games available on the device are rubbish and hard to play with the turning button on the ipod nano. The videos that can be viewed requires to be converted into a specific file type (which takes forever) and then the screen size is small so its not very suitable for watching videos or movies. I think that for the price I bought it for which is £70(two years ago) this is definatly not good value for money. You can buy great ipod touch and other branded mp4 players for less money and I can bet you that it will be 10x better than this nonsense. And if that isnt enough to convince you, the headphones are terrible as they have poor sound quality. I hope this review has helped
When the Iphone 4s was revealed I was shocked at apple and was expecting the Iphone 5. It did not look very good when its features was revealed, just a few minor tweaks. It is nearly identical to its predecessor Iphone 4 and is available in white. Being a huge apple fan I ordered my 4s ASAP just after it was revealed for my upgrade.
The Iphone 4s in white looks amazing. Simple yet so elegant. The shiny white back against the metallic silver aluminium side and then the rock solid, "indestructible" screen that is scratch proof. I highly recommend getting this in white.
32 gb is more than enough for me as I never even go past using 10 gb. I simply don't have that much apps and music to store. I also find that storing too much data on the Iphone makes it run slower. The Iphone 4s is of course 7x faster than its predecessor so in this case this does not matter.
The camera is so amazing that the words I want to use cannot be used as it will be breaking dooyoo's rules. 1080P camera and recording. I can confirm that this is the best camera on a phone EVER, my mate has the galaxy s 2 and we compared and contrasted both and have both prefered the 4s. The colours and resolution come out brilliantly.
Siri is awesome. Talking to siri is very useful when driving and some might argue that its a gimmick and a useless app. Well I beg to differ. Its similar to Iphone 3gs and 4's voice control but 100x better. It makes calls, emails, messages and logs events into your calender aswell as minor things like play your requested music. Using Siri whilst driving is not illegal whereas texting and using your phone is, this is useful for making important text messages, calls or emails.
The thing I hate about the phone is that they only made two tweaks to the all new Iphone 4s whereas when the 4 was released it had several new features released along with phone. I remember a time where the apples Iphone was the greatest phone ever and now the other androids are keeping up with it and in samsung galaxy s2's case it surpasses the 4s in my view. This is a great phone but I believe that this year it has failed to beat all other phones.
I have had this laptop for 4 years and it has never let me down once.
The dell latitude d630 is great, here are some pros:
The appearance is stylish, its a metallic grey with curved edges.
its not too heavy
Overall the laptop is durable and reliable.
The screen size is average and has a clear and bright screen
Its available for cheap
Good value for money
Great for people who want to work at home as microsoft office works great on here with the fast speed.
The keyboard is comfortable to use and the keys are well spaced out.
The touch "mouse" is good, its got just the right sensitivity.
And now the cons:
The laptop takes around 45-60 mins for a full charge which is average but major disadvantage I find is that the battery life is not great at all, it lasts a poor 4 hours.
Its not a entertainment laptop(videos and movies are poor both in sound and picture), although I mainly listen to music with my headphones plugged in so its not a problem.
It does not physically look appealing.
Now the pros outweigh the cons and I truly believe that this is a great laptop. This is easy to use and there are not many features to be honest. I need it for university work that I receive and I find it great for typing and working on tasks due to its brilliant proccesor. Although the laptop could be better if it was also an entertainment laptop. The screen size is very small for watching movies or videos at only 11.6 inches. For around £200-250 this is a brilliant laptop as I have seen other laptops that are slow and that have not many good features for around £500. This is a great buy and I hope this review has helped.
I purchased the tom tom xl 2 iq 2 years ago for getting to university as I was a rookie to the roads and did not know how to get from A to B thoroughly. I thought the satnav was great, with a variety of voices to choose from, a huge screen to look into and the ability to navigate to anywhere in Europe... This is the work of Gods.
The touchscreen is okay, its no Iphone but its decent. Not sensitive enough for me. The battery life is really good as I only have to charge it after 3-4 uses making it very convenient for me. The maps load quite fast and downloads information onto the receiver quickly. The appearance to me is not very appealing however. It looks like a black brick and is quite heavy for a tom tom( maybe because of its extra large screen, who knows?)
Personally I have not used the tom tom to drive to Europe, but the option of having all the European roads on there is a big bonus. For £100-110 this is good value for money.
Hope this has helped, thanks for reading.
I received this camera as a birthday present 2 years ago and have been using it on my travels around the world. I can say that it is durable as it has survived a few drops. Its available for around £70-80 so it is defiantly good value for money.
The ultra slim Samsung st60 is great not only in its appearance but also the features it has. The amazing digital camera from Samsung is a wopping 12.2 mp that takes great pictures and is great for holidays. The compact design allows the user to carry the camera around in your pocket. I love the shiny metal exterior casing making this a stylish and sexy looking camera.
The 4x zoom is great although the more you zoom the more blurry the picture looks(as with all other cameras). It is very easy to use and there is a instructions manual that comes along with it to help along. The pictures taken on the camera appear to be bright and vibrant in colour. The digital camera also records video(although not great quality) as with nearly all digital cameras these days. The battery life is really good as it lasts long but needs to be charged for quite long (2-3 hours) and recording videos can decrease its battery life rapidly.
If you are looking for professional photography then this is not for you, although the pictures are great they are not perfect and does not have all the features a professional camera has.

I bought a 2.5 lbs pair of ankle weights earlier on this year to tone my legs. I grabbed myself a deal at only £5 on January and have been using this around 2 times a week for long walks or for jogging. I have got to say that I have seen good results but I cannot give all the credit to just the ankle weights as I also go to the gym 4 times a week.
The ankle weights are not too big and can rarely be noticed whilst wearing jogging bottoms. They are filled with a grainy/sandy textured material similar to some plastic dumbbells. The appearance is not too appealing to me, its an aqua coloured weight and seems to feminine for my liking. The sandy material also can leak/spill easily as there is only a thin material holding it in place but I would say that for £5 this is defiantly good value for money as I saw others for around £20.
Hope this has helped, thanks for reading.
I got my apple earphones with my Iphone 3gs a year ago and I have to say that this is without a doubt the worst earphones that I have had.
The physical appearance is not so bad. The white and grey plastic covering the wires actually look appealing however the earphones appearance does not make up for the fact that the sound quality is extremely poor. The headphones are not comfortable when inserted into the ear and I find that it tends to often fall out. The sound is really fuzzy and not crisp and clear as for instance beats by Dr.Dre. The headphones also leak a lot of the sounds due to the small wholes on the outside of the earphone, this lets strangers eavesdrop onto your conversations and may disturb others in a quiet environment. The earphones are clean and nice at first but after several uses later the white plastic will become grey and its very difficult to remove marks from the wires and the earphones themselves. However the headphones are extremely cheap, they are available for less than £1 on eBay. The newer apple headphones also have a volume control attached to the wire of the headphone which is very convenient when your phone is tucked into your pocket and you want to adjust the volume. As with nearly all headphones, these are clearly marked with the left and right earphone symbols. The headphone wire is long, this is a big advantage as you can use it at home on the laptop to watch movies if you wish. It also has a clip on the wires to make the two earphones bond and become closer which makes them "knot" free when you use them next and its more convenient to have the two wires running adjacent rather than the wires dangling all over the place.
Hope this has helped.
