Not A Very Good Way To Work Out In My Opinion

My dad brought these Push Up Grips home from work a few months ago, he's got an old injury on his shoulder and thought they might help. After a couple of uses though he realised they was making the problem worse so he asked me if I wanted them as I'm working out more at home just lately. I said yes I'd give them a try because they are mainly to work out your upper body, and at the time this was the area I was concentrating on.

They are just 2 disks about the size of my hand with handles on. You put them on the floor and use them for doing push ups, another way to use them is to hold them against the wall and push yourself off the wall using just your hands and arms.

A good thing about these is that they are made from 2 plates which will rotate, this helps you to avoid putting loads of strange pressure on your arms and shoulders and also lets you move in a more natural way as you are exercising.

The Push Up Grips are madly awkward to use to start with, it took me at least 10 uses to feel comfortable with them and even now I've had them a couple of months my hands still feel proper weird when I'm holding them.

I don't think that exercising like this is all that good for me actually. The stress they put on my shoulders in intense and after I've used these as part of my workout they will actually start hurting and usually leave me with a painful burning sensation. I think they are probably more suitable for men who naturally have stronger and broader shoulders, I'm not mad on doing push ups anyway but these just make it too hard to do...... I'm not into that "No Pain No Gain" thing because I think exercise shouldn't actually HURT but this does.

I think they're a brilliant idea though and I know that when I've gone to the gym instead of exercising at home I've seen blokes using these as part of their workout.

For me though they are too hard to get a decent grip on and also make exercising much too painful. The Grips are made very well and look like they will last for ages, the part that rotates is good because the action is smooth and as they move round as you push up on them it will definately stop any excess pressure on your shoulders.

Not recommended..... not for girls like me anyway, I reckon blokes will probably have a better time with them though.

A Wicked Set Of Headphones That Make Me Look Like A (Feminine) Footballer!

I won a pair of these WESC headphones in a competition online a couple of months ago, mine are the exact same ones as the headphones in the photo Dooyoo have got up. The colour is called Vibrant Yellow and they are bright but not stupidly bright so that people can see me coming down the road! I think they are a gorgeous colour and stand out nice but definately don't look over the top.

I'm used to wearing in-ear phones so it was a bit of a shocker the first time I came to use these. They are comfortable but feel big time tight after a bit, I thought it was just me because I don't think I've ever worn cup headphones but when my mate tried them she agreed that the band holding the headphones together does hold them a bit too tight to the ears. It doesn't bother me all that much because I still prefer my in-ear phones so it's not like these really get all that much wear.

The sound from these headphones is brilliant though and I can definately see the difference when I am wearing these to when I've got my normal iPod earphones in. You can feel the cups cushioning around your ears and that holds the sound in, with these headphones you can hear and feel a bassline that you didn't even realise was in the song before putting them on!

When I'm wearing these headphones I've noticed I can turn the volume down slightly on my iPod and I'll still get an amazing sound, they feel a bit bulky because of me being used to wearing the in-ear type and when I first wore them my dad said I look like a footballer! Hope he wasn't referring to my thighs there! Anyway these are pretty dainty so at least I don't look like Jermain Defoe who wears headphones that look nearly as big as his head!

The cord on these headphones is 0.5 metres but you can extend this to 1 metre. I've never had to extend it because my iPod is normally pretty close to me but it's dead easy to do and because the cord is covered in fabric it's dead comfortable even against my bare skin and doesn't feel irritating or itchy like some plastic cords can.

The technical details mean naff all to me so all I can do really is tell you that the sound is brilliant and that they are comfortable to wear. Like I said they do get a bit tight after you've been wearing them for a while and when I was on a longish journey last weekend they actually made my ears hurt a bit after an hour but that's probably because I need to get used to wearing this style of headphones.

These are available in a few different colours, the yellow is the nicest I think though looking at them so I'm glad this was the colour I won. You can also get them in black or white for a bit more of a traditional look.

Here are the technical details if you can decipher them!

        * 30mm power drivers
        * 20 to 20 001 HZ
        * 3.5 stereo plug

(See, it's just a list of random numbers!)

Recommended..... these headphones look cool and give an amazing sound whatever music you like to listen to!

The Best Looking Camera Case I've Ever Seen!

I'm quite lucky because I don't see my aunts and uncles all that often, but when I do they bring me presents! I ended up with this camera case at a family wedding a few weeks back, my aunt actually took her camera out of it to give the case to me because I said how gorgeous it was and how rubbish my case looked next to it!

It's made out of a shiny wet look plastic, I think if you was to start peeling it away it would be something cheap like a cardboardy case covered in like latex or something.... I'm not going to start digging at my case though because I love it and I don't want to end up ruining it!

It opens and closes with a zip, the zip starts halfway up one side goes round the top and then comes halfway down the other side. That means the case doesn't open up all that wide but it's enough to slide my camera in, there's a special cuff that is made of the same material of the lining that protects cameras from being scratched by the zip.... it's the same idea as when you've bought a zip up toddler outfit and you get that little tag to stop the zip catching on their chin.

The lining isn't all that thick so the case relies on the rigid outside to protect your camera. It does seem quite sturdy even though it looks more like a fashion accessory than anything else.

This won't hold massive cameras, mine is a Sony Cyber Shot and they are very small. I think you'd get a slightly bigger camera in the case but there isn't much room so I definately say you should check the size of the inside of the case before you buy it. Looking on Amazon the internal dimensions are 9.5cm x 5.6cm x 2.5cm so you should be able to work it out from that.

I think this is a gorgeous little camera case and I loved it as soon as I saw it. The only problem I've got with it is that there isn't a strap attached to the actual case, you can slide the wrist strap of your camera through the zip part but it's a bit fiddly and actually I'd rather just stuff that strap into the case with the camera and have a strap that is on the case. That would make things a lot easier but it's not a big problem just something that would be nice to have.

        Recommended.... gorgeous!!!

          A Rubbish Exercise Bike!!!

When I was looking for an exercise bike it took me AGES to find the right one, I wanted something a bit more stable than those mega basic folding bikes BUT I still wanted a folding one because it was going in my bedroom and I still wanted to be able to move round the room.

I got this one on Amazon after reading a few reviews about it, it seemed perfect... but it actually isn't all that good at all and I'm thinking about sending it back while I still can.

The bike was dead easy to put together, it took me about half an hour and I did it by myself. Usually I have to ask my dad to help with stuff like this but by following the pictures on the instruction sheet (the words are soooo confusing!!!) I didn't have any major problems.

Using the bike is rubbish. You are supposed to be able to change the resistance as you're peddaling but whatever setting you have it on it's too easy to pedal. I know that sounds stupid, the easier the better right???? Well no, with exercise bikes you're supposed to start off easy and then work up the resistance levels so that your legs get stronger and eventually you are working to the very best of your ability. There doesn't seem to be ANY resistance on this bike and sometimes the pedals just go round and round without me putting any effort in at all.

The little computer display thingy on the handle bars isn't much good either but actually I don't hold this against this bike in particular because a lot of the cheap bikes have naff computers that don't work. This one shows the calories burned, your speed, how long you've been peddaling for and the distance you've ridden. The problem is that the numbers don't mean anything because they go up and down all the time, I can see why this happens with the speed but how can I have burned 60 calories one minute and then only 26 the next???

The actual bike itself isn't brilliant quality either. It doesn't fold as flat as it looks like it's going to and because the handlebars stick out I don't actually think I save much room by going to the effort of folding it up. And it IS an effort because the bike is madly heavy for such a small item and the base is very bulky as well which means it's awkward for me to be able to lean it against the wall.

The seat height adjusts but not all that much, I'd say this bike is for short people..... so it's good I'm a short-arse! Actually I could do with the saddle going down a bit more but I've set it at the lowest height it will go to so there's nothing else I can do about it. The seat is very comfortable and I was surprised about that because it looks hard and isn't very well shaped.

Not recommended...... if you want a folding exercise bike you can get a better one than this that is a lot cheaper. I paid £65.00 for this and feel majorly ripped off because it's no good for exercising and parts of it don't work at all.

Wicked Batteries That Will Last Forever!

These square shaped batteries are usually called 9 volt batteries, they can be used for all sorts of devices but the main thing I use them for is my clock radio.... and we also get through shedloads of them on my sister's toys but that's another story!

At one time I used to buy the cheapo supermarket own brand 9 volt batteries but eventually I realised they weren't lasting as long as they should so one day (when I was rich!) I bought a pack of Duracell Plus MD1604.... or 9 volters to be a bit more easy!

They are LOADS more expensive to buy but I swear I can see a massive difference in the amount of these square batteries I am having to buy. A wicked example is my clock radio, I run it off the battery because I've already well overloaded the plug sockets in my bedroom. Because I also use it as a radio during the day I realised it was draining the cheap batteries much too fast and in the long run it was costing me a fortune.

Now though I've had this Duracell battery in for about 3 months and it's not showing any signs of running out, the supermarket batteries would have definately needed replacing at least a month ago so even though these are a bit more expensive in the long run it will work out to be a cheaper way of powering the clock radio.

I know clocks aren't exactly the most heavy duty product available so I'll give you a better example of just how BRILLIANT these batteries are. My 3 year old sister has got this bear that walks and talks and everything, it's remote control and takes 2 x 9 volt batteries in the back of the bear to make it work. The supermarket batteries were lasting about an hour in it and my sister was getting more and more annoyed at this gorgeous bear not working properly, it ended up in the cupboard because we just couldn't keep replacing the batteries at such a rate.

When I put 2 of these Duracell Plus 9 volters in though it powered up straight away and the batteries only died YESTERDAY, that's 6 weeks later than a supermarket brand battery would last for!

I think these are brilliant batteries, they keep their charge just about forever and even though they are quite pricey they work perfect and aren't going to leave you in the lurch by running out at a bad time.

AND you can stick your tongue on the 2 metal prongs and get a bit of an electrocution buzz running through your mouth..... bonus!!!

              A Wicked Google Mouse Mat

I've got a bit of a thing about mouse mats, I wouldn't actually say I COLLECT them or anything like that but I've got sooooo many that I need to have a bit of a sort out in my PC Bits drawer because mouse mats are taking over the place!

I bought this Google one from a car boot sale a couple of weeks ago, I like mouse mats that have got brands on them and I really wanted this one because I use Google ALL day long so thought it would be kind of cool to have.

The mouse mat I've got is exactly the same as the one Dooyoo have got up, it shows the standard Google logo with the coloured balls that are sometimes used when Google goes a bit trendy and changes its logo around. The guy I brought this off had got about 6 different Google designs on the mouse mats though so it's worth having a look around before deciding which one it is you want.

It's just a basic mouse mat, standard size and everything like that. One of the things I like about it is that even though it feels pretty rigid it's quite thin. For me that's perfect because I like using thinner mouse mats because I think they're a lot easier to use, I've got a Barbie mouse mat that I use sometimes and that's soooooo think that I always feel like my wrist is on too much of a slant when I come to use it.

The surface of this Google mouse mat is smooth but you can feel that it's covered in loads of tiny ridges to give the mouse a good texture to hold onto. I think the mouse is very smooth and comfortable to use when I'm using this mouse mat, the mouse never misses a click or slides further than I want it to and that's important because some cheapo mouse mats are just too smooth and that makes the mouse much harder to control.

The bottom of the mouse mat is made out of a sticky sort of foam. I don't mean it actually FEELS sticky but it grips onto the desk good and I've never had it start sliding around on me or anything like that. It's quite a thin layer of foam so it doesn't make the mouse mat feel spongey to use.

Recommended..... a mouse mat that looks cool but is also lovely to use!!!

These Toadstools Won't Make You Sick..... Except The Price Maybe!

I bought this fish tank ornament from the Pets At Home website a couple of months ago and it looks so good in the tank that my dad is going to the shop today to see if they stock them offline so he can buy another couple for our 5ft tank.

I didn't notice when I ordered the ornament that there is a choice of colours and was a bit annoyed when it arrived because they had sent me an orange one, the main thing that caught my eye when I was looking at their website was the inky blue of the one they are showing (the same as in the photo Dooyoo have got up) so I was disappointed not to get that.

It's not such a drama though because the orange actually looks brilliant in the tank, I positioned it under one of the tank lights and the way it collects the light and stands out from the green plants round it is wicked. It's only about 12cm tall but it draws your attention big time and definately brightens that corner of the tank up.

The fish love it because they can swim and play in between the toadstool stems, I like the way they've made it as 3 seperate toadstools because there are plenty of different ways the fish can play with this ornament. It's obvious that the main thing they're going to do is swim through the little gaps and tunnels that the toadstools make, I love watching the fish because it's better than most of the crap that's on TV at the minute and think it's mega sweet to see them playing together. We've got some tiny little silver fish in the tank, they're so small we've got about 18 of them (they swim too fast to count!!!!) and they're always together in a pack. They LOVE this Coral and watching the whole pack of them flow through the gaps as if they was just one fish instead of 18 is brilliant. I can't remember what these fish are called but will ask my dad as soon as he gets in.... it's doing my head in now actually because the name of them is on the tip of my tongue!

We're looking after a baby catfish at the minute for my uncle, it's being picked on by one of the bigger fish in his tank so we said we'd look after it until it's big enough to give that bully fish a smack in the mouth! The catfish loves sort of lying on top of the biggest toadstool and it looks so sweet there because you can see it watching the rest of the tank being active and he's just chilling.

When you first get this ornament you should give it a wash because all of these Pets At Home ornaments are a bit dusty when you first get them, really you should wash everything new that you put in your tank to be on the safe side but you can actually see these are a bit grimy and dusty. Once it's in your tank though you won't need to clean it any more than the other stuff you might have in there, our tank is due a clean soon so it'll get a wash with the rest of the ornaments and fake plants and that'll be it until next time.

Recommended.... the orange one looks gorgeous when the light hits it and the fish love playing around the ornament!

A Cute Watch For Anyone Who Loves Squirrels!

I've always had a thing for squirrels and when I was a kid would collect pictures and ornaments of them, I grew out of collecting stuff but a good mate who I've known since I was 5 bought me a GORGEOUS Xmas pressie last year. It was this Squirrel Time watch from Swatch, she got it from a little shop in Merry Hill but you can buy exactly the same watch from Amazon for about £27.00.

I normally quite like Swatch watches because of how cheap and cheerful they are, but this one I can't make my mind up. It's lovely and sweet, but every time I wear it I feel like I'm wearing a kids watch..... that doesn't usually bother me because I've got skinny wrists so have got quite a few kids watches but this one feels waaaaaaaay too kiddified for me.

The watch has got a plastic strap which is coloured beige and shows some cute fat squirrels eating acorns and sitting by some toadstools. The face of the watch also shows a squirrel sitting on an oak leaf with acorns and toadstools around him. It's mega sweet..... even if the squirrel doesn't look all that much like a squirrel! lol

I actually think it would be brilliant for kids instead of being a womans watch because the numbers on the face of the watch stand out proper good. They are printed in black and the numbers themselves are quite big and bold, the only problem with giving this to a kid would be that 2 of the numbers are missing where the squirrel picture covers them and I think that would be a bit confusing for a child who is just learning to tell the time.

Most Swatch watches have got plastic straps but this one is majorly sweaty, more than any other strap on a Swatch watch..... and I've got quite a few of them so know what I'm talking about! I know the first time I wore this watch was to a party I ended up taking it off after about 3 hours because the sweaty feeling the strap left made me think I was coming down with a rash!!!

This watch tells the time perfectly and doesn't lose or gain any minutes, when it was brand new it had a bit of a problem and the minute hand would stop going round and then get jerky when it started again. I told my mate who brought it for me and she took it back for a replacement because NO WAY could I or anyone use a watch that had such a weird jerky fault. As soon as I got the new one though it was fine and I've been using it on and off ever since.

Recommended.... a cute watch but mega itchy!!!

If Your Using Them For Your Camera Don't Forget To Take Some Spares With You

When I needed some batteries ages ago I had to go to the expensive shop by us for some because I needed them in a bit of a rush. The only batteries he had in were some mega cheapo ones that should have been in the pound shop but he was charging £3.99, and then he'd got packs of these 12 Philips Power Life batteries for £8.99. Disgusting rip off but there you go!

They are AA batteries so would fit most things, I mean there's not a lot I can say about the size because they're pretty standard and you either need them or you don't!

I've used them in a few things and they've been fine, they're not all that good in my digital camera and I noticed they didn't last half as long as the brand new rechargeable batteries I've been using for the past couple of weeks. They was fine for a day out but I made sure I took extras and it was a good job I did because the batteries died an hour before we was due to come home and I'd have missed some cracking snaps if I hadn't taken spares with me. I noticed that once the low battery light came on the batteries were quick to die as well and that was annoying.

The other stuff I've used these batteries in have been loads better, I put 2 in my bedroom clock the day I bought them and the clock is still going strong even though it drains the batteries I usually put in it from Poundland. None of them have died actually apart from the ones I put in the camera, that's not bad because a couple went into a toy of my little sisters that plays loud music and they're still working..... that one usually EATS batteries as well!

Recommended..... decent for anything except days out with a digital camera, don't pay mad prices for them like I did though!

You can buy Hello Kitty in 1 and 2 slot versions, this one will only toast 1 slice of bread at a time so I've got it in my room because it takes up less room than a full sized toaster.

It's not the sort of toaster I would have picked for myself but my mum got it as a present, it's kind of useless for in the kitchen with 5 of us all loving toast but for me to keep in my bedroom it's wicked. The toaster looks exactly the same as the one in the photo Dooyoo have got up, it's mega cute looking and ANYONE who likes Hello Kitty will love this.

The slot is quite wide but when you push the toast down it closes in to fit whatever bread you're using. I've used Toastie bread, thin slices of teabread, bagels and all sorts of different thicknesses and they always toast fine. You can set how brown you want your toast to be and that's quite responsive, the darkest setting isn't TOO dark but if you set it to the lowest then your toast will come out still more or less white.

The clever thing about this toaster is that is toasts the shape of Hello Kittys head into the toast, that's cute but you know what???? After the first about 5 slices you'll stop noticing the head on the toast because you'll get so used to seeing it there!

It pops up good and has never got stuck. One thing I have to watch is that if I've put a bagel in it sometimes the pop isn't quite strong enough to get it all the way out, that doesn't bother me because you can only toast half a bagel at a time so I don't usually bother with that!

The plastic case of the toaster stays cool even after you've done a couple of rounds of toast in it, it's stayed surprisingly clean as well and hasn't got any brown marks on it like a lot of white toasters do. The crumb tray works good and is easy to pull out, it's quite a deep crumb tray as well so it's not very often I get a crumby mess under the toaster.

Recommended.... I love this toaster, not because of it toasting a Hello Kitty head but because it makes delish toast one slice at a time!

These Star Fish Will Look Wicked In Any Fish Tank!

I had a discount voucher for Pets At Home, we've got one of their shops just down the road so I wouldn't normally bother ordering off them online but this was a proper generous voucher and I also got free delivery.

One of the bits I ordered to make up my minimum order was a Star Fish ornament for our fish tank, I got 2 actually and it's a good job because it's TINY compared to how it looks in the picture on the website and just one would have looked proper naff!

They do look nice but only measure about 11cm across, I should have checked the measurements before I brought it but I was majorly disappointed with the size of it because it wasn't all that cheap at £3.49 each.

We got 1 in green and 1 in blue, they are ornaments really but on the Pets At Home website it says you can use them to cover filters and stuff like that. I haven't done that because the star fish look good just arranged on the gravel and you can't hardly see our filters round the plants anyway. Actually I don't think the middles of them are big enough to hide any of the mechanical bits in the tank, and I don't know why you'd want to cover them up anyway!!!

It's made of plastic but the plastic is rough so that the ornaments look like they're made out of stone that has been outside for years. They sit nice because are weighted good and neither of ours have been disturbed even when the fish swim into them. The fish haven't took much notice of the star fish ornaments, a few of them went over and had a sniff when they first went in but ever since they've not bothered about them.

When I first got the ornament I thought it felt a bit dusty so I gave it a wash before I put it in the tank, it's probably best to do that with anything you're putting in your tank but this ornament never felt very clean when it was new.

Recommended.... a bit expensive for the size but they look nice in the tank!

A Wicked Alternative To Having To Empty Poo Out Of A Potty!

When my sister was potty training it did my head in because I HATED emptying the potty after she'd done a poo. I've changed probably as many of her dirty nappies as our mum so it's not the poo itself that gets me and I'm happy to wipe her bum after she's been to the loo..... there's just something disgusting about getting little kids to poo into a container and then having to empty it away. Get them on the proper toilet ASAP I say!!!

So one day when I was shopping on the Mothercare website I saw they sold a load of different Comfi Trainers, loads of people said how good they were so I brought one to try. A Comfi Trainer is a mini toilet seat, it's padded with a hole that is much smaller than usual. Underneath the Comfi Trainer there is a ring of hard plastic, you just place the plastic ring into the hole of your big toilet seat and just like that you've have the toilet a lot smaller and took away the stress for a little kid of falling down the loo.

It's made to fit most standard toilet seats and because it just lifts on and off that makes it easy to take out with you if you're going out somewhere. Even though it's padded I don't think the Comfi Trainer is majorly bulky and I have taken it out loads of times with me, it'll fit in a carrier bag easily and would even go into most changing bags no problem.

The Comfi Trainer is very easy to clean, I just got into the habit of wiping it over with a baby wipe every time my sister used it and then giving it a proper clean with hot water every few days. It's never got DIRTY but that will keep the germs off it, the padded part of the seat is sealed good so that even if a kid has an accident on it it'll still be easy to clean without having to worry about ripping or bursting the cover.

There's one problem with it and that's the fact that sometimes if my sister is sitting with her legs too close together she'll wee and instead of going down the toilet it will sort of rise up and start running down her legs. It's not all that funny to me but she laughs like a mad thing when that happens..... she hasn't sussed out that wee is dirty yet and doesn't actually care if she gets it on her. Kids are sooooooooo disgusting sometimes!!!

There are a few different Comfi Trainers to choose from, I got this one because at the time my sister was still mad into Iggle Piggle. It looks good in the bathroom when it's not being used and even though my sister goes on the big toilet now the Comfi Trainer is still propped up against the wall in the bathroom. Well it was until 10 mins ago when I went to get it so that I could write this review, it's not going back up there either because the seat is being passed on to our next door neighbour tonight for her little boy.

Recommended..... but watch out for stray streams of wee!!!

A Brill Fitness Product From York

I got these vinyl weights off my mate for my birthday, she knows I prefer working out at home instead of going to the gym and because she liked the look of them herself she got me a set..... we've got the same sort of taste on things like this so she knew I'd like them!

You get 3 sets of different sized weights in black case, they are made of nice smooth plastic that is comfortable to hold and don't take up too much room because you store them in the case that they come in.

You get 2 x 1kg weights, 2 x 1.5kg weights and 2 x 2.5kg weights. The different pairs are different colours so that you can't get mixed up with what weight you're picking up, I mean that's not very likely anyway because they are different sizes but at least the colours look nice!

The bar that you hold is very comfortable, it's smoother than I thought it would be and I thought that would end up being a mistake but even though I've been using these weights for ages now they've never slipped around in my hand even when my skin has been mega sweaty during or after a good work out. That's probably because the vinyl has got a bit of a sticky feel to it, that helps me get a good grip on the weights but actually I'd prefer the bar to have ridges to help the grip instead of the sticky feeling.

The weights are balanced good, I mean and so they should be because they cost £20.00 and there are cheaper ones available! I think they're mega comfortable to hold and are brill to use when I am working out to one of my fitness DVDs at home. I started off using mainly the 1kg weights and worked up to using the 2.5kg ones, there's a shiny wallchart in the case which I haven't actually used but it gives you a good idea of how to use the weights and different exercises to do.

The case is a good idea, it's shaped so that you can fit all the weights into it..... the only trouble is that it's a bit heavy to pick up when you've got all the weights in it together! The good thing is that it keeps them all in one place and means I haven't got to pair them up on the floor and risk kicking them and busting my toe again..... I did that a couple of years ago and it killed!

Recommended... not mega cheap but a wicked set of weights that come in their own case so you haven't got weights all over the floor!

Perfect For When You Forget Your Digital Camera

I've got a brill Sony Cybershot camera which I love but on the spur of the moment me and my mate decided to go down to the Hagley Road to see if we could see the pope in his popemobile! lol Well we thought the main thing at Cofton Park was happening 2 mins away and the roads all round our houses were closed so we might as well see what all the fuss was about. I didn't even THINK about taking my camera until we got close and saw that everyone else had got them and then it was too late! lol

We popped into the shop on the way to the Hagley Road for some munchies and when I saw he was selling these basic Kodak cameras I bought one because I thought it would be nice to get some snaps.

It ended up that we didn't see the pope because we got there waaaaaaay too late and there was a tonne of people who had been standing there waiting for HOURS. I saw the top of the popemobile and held the camera up into the air, when the photos come back there's a bit of a shadow in the window that might be the pope.... or one of the other men in the car.... or even just a reflection! lol

Anyway, the camera is fine. It's a dead basic disposible camera that takes half decent photos. Kodak say that this camera is made for taking photos in the daytime but that's only because there's no flash on it! I loved how basic it was to use because there's no messing about with it at all. The camera is always on so when you're ready to take a photo you just wind the winder round and press the button.

The button to take the photo is good, you don't have to force it down like when you use Boots disposible cameras and other cheaper cameras. It feels just like pressing the button on an old film camera, it's not as soft feeling as using a digital camera obviously but I think it has still got a nice feel. One good thing is that with this camera as soon as you press the button you take the photo, not like the annoying delay on my digital camera that means I sometimes miss perfect shots.

I got the photos developed today because I'd took some of me and my mate that I wanted to see. The photos have come out brill, I got them developed as normal sized photos and they are dead sharp and clear. The only thing is that the colour is a bit washed out compared to photos I print out from my digital camera.

Recommended for if you leave your camera at home!

A Wicked Fish Tank Ornament That Is Well Worth The Money!

We've got a massive 5 foot fish tank and I'm always buying bits and pieces for it, this Urn from Coppet was the last thing I brought. It was from Pets At Home and cost about £5, the urn is only about 11cm tall so it's not all that big but I still think a fiver is about the right price for it.

It's made of polyresin and looks EXACTLY the same as the one in the photo Dooyoo have got up. I know it looks a bit dull but once it's in the water with all the fish swimming round it it looks wicked. There's a large urn available as well that I'm thinking about going back to buy because the one will look cool arranged next to this one.

The urn feels like stone even though it's not and it stands up nice in the gravel at the bottom of the tank because it's heavier than it looks. The hole that goes through the urn is a good thing because the smaller fish in the tank love swimming though it and one of our baby Angel Fish even sits in it to hide when she's getting picked on by another Angel Fish!

The fish that loves it the most though are the Mollies, they kind of play tig through the hole and round the urn and I've also noticed that some of the tiny fish we've got who usually hide in among the plants have started coming out a bit more since this went into the tank. They swim round the shadowy parts of the urn towards the bottom and that stops them having to be out in the open, it's weird because they've never been like that with any of the other ornaments we've added to the tank.

This ornament hasn't needed cleaning since we've had it, looking at it though I reckon it would be easy enough. We clean our tank out regular so no mess or grime gets to stick to the urn, but when I do come to clean it I think hot water and a scrubber will be all that's needed.

Recommended.... only a fiver and this urn brightens the tank up brill and also gives my fish a place to play hide and seek.
