      Yummy Chicken Breasts!

We had these for tea the other night because we all fancied chicken but couldn't decide what sort to have. The usual price for the 4 fillet pack that you can see in the photo Dooyoo have got up is £5.00 but we paid less than that because they was on special offer. They are chilled and it says on the pack that they have been frozen before but thawed out in a special way so that you can still freeze them at home yourself. The chicken breasts are quite big and don't shrivel up while you're cooking them, you get a bit of fat come out of the chicken while they're in the oven but not much and it must come out of the breadcrumbs because the chicken isn't greasy at all. They take about 25 mins to cook in the oven and you can't eat them straight out of the pack because the chicken is raw. When they're done they've got a proper nice taste, the chicken tastes proper fresh and as long as you remember to turn it during cooking it will cook through nice and go wickedly tender and moist. The breadcrumbs don't go very brown but don't stress about that because if you leave them in the oven for too long the chicken will start drying up so you're better to have good chicken and underdone breadcrumbs I reckon. The chicken is good quality and there was no bone or gristle or anything in the piece I had. The breadcrumbs have got a nice taste and actually taste like bread and not them fake orange breadcrumbs they put on fish fingers and stuff like that. I don't think the chicken is EXACTLY like fresh chicken but they are proper chicken breasts and not chopped chicken like you get in a lot of food like that. Each Breaded Chicken Fillet has got 310 calories and 11.6g fat in it, that's quite a lot of fat compared to what is in a breast of plain chicken I think. For the price we paid which was about £2.79 I think they're pretty good value but I wouldn't want to spend a fiver on them because you can get fresh chicken breasts for cheaper than that and with a lot less fat in them! Recommended...... if you can find them on special offer!!!
