* I want a pony *
Went to the Urban Decay counter and noticed they had new products so I saw this box and thought I must buy this product as I love urban Decay eyeshadows. Now this box comes in 2 designs for some reason but I think this was the nicest one. These are such high quilty products .
* Packaging Design*
I love love love the packaging for this one , I think that this is one on UD's finest work , On the front it has sketchs of 3 girls with cool hairstlyes and make up, the sktechs go all over the box and even the inside is covered. this box just flips open and is sealed with an invisable magnetic strip.
so this little box come with a sample sized primer posion like they all do and it comes with a glide on eye liner pencil which is allways usful. Then it has 6 colours of eyeshadows which include:
1.smatch - This is a light golden shade which is very pretty and great for a naturalish look.
2. mildrew which is a pretty dark grass looking green , it will be for a perfect for a smokey look.
3.Flash - which i have a double of in another pallete and it's a very pretty purple shade.
4. Painkiller - I lovely blue shade very bright i have to mention.
5. smog - a dark golden brown
6. toasted which is a toast colour.
you don't need to use much product with these shadows as the colours are pretty intense and the pigmentation is really good.
I think this may be a limited addition pallette and i'm sure it was around £16 - £17 I can't remember.
Another great product from urban decay!!
Urban Decay Show Pony Shadow Box ****
I love urban decay eye shadows so much so when I saw this on a recent shopping trip I had to get it.
Urban decay is quite a high end brand and all their eye shadows are at least vegetarian friendly with quite a lot of them being being suitable for vegans to wear.
This particular box actually has the exact same colours in it as the preen shadow box,with the only difference being that they have different designs on the front. They are both the same price and are designed by the same person.
As you can see by my other reviews I own quite a few urban decay palettes already so my main reason for buying this was (apart from the packaging) that two of the colours in this are exclusive to this palette and as much as I wanted the alice in wonderland one I had all the colours already(boo hoo).
This comes in quite a compact box with 6 colours in it. When you open it up the top has a mirror-which is a decent size and the whole packaging is covered in drawings. The drawings are of faces and they all have really bright make up on.
I think the two limited edition colours in this are painkiller and snatch.
Painkiller-A very vibrant blue colour. The shade of blue you want your pool to be on holiday.
Snatch-A light sandy colour,it goes really well with painkiller.I like using this as a highlight colour.
Mildrew-A smokey green colour. I like using this on night out( I have a mac colour that is the exact same so when I remember I will say what it is)
smog-A bronzy colour
Toasted-In between smog and snatch on the colour wheel.
I would recommend this pallete even if you have all the others!!!Urban decay is a great brand and at less than £20 its a bargain.
