I got my first smudge stick in a beauty box and liked it a lot. It was a black ("Stingray") shade and that is the colour I mostly wear anyway. Then I got a second one in a set with some lip glosses and this one was brown or "lionfish" as it says on the actual pencil.
These are skinny pencils with no need to sharpen as they are just a twist up pencil which is good and definitely less messy. The pencil is all plastic and covered in silver stars which is pretty.
I use my pencils to draw in winged eye liner and sometimes use the brown one on the lower lashes, just lightly to frame my eye.
What they say
This highly pigmented, waterproof eye liner glides on to deliver intense, vibrant colour with staying power. These easy to apply, eye liners have it all: Long lasting, waterproof and easy to apply. No sharpener necessary, simply twist and apply the instant colour-release formula for fuss-free, fade-proof pigment
Marks & Spencer sell the smudge sticks for £13. They are probably worth that.
These are high quality pencils and really easy to use. I like them but hate it when I go wrong as you really have to start again! I like to draw the line then soften with either a cotton bud or a make up brush.
I am pleased with my Stila eye liners. I still have others I use (like felt tip liner style) so I'm not completely sold on them but I do use them at least once per week.
One of my mottos in life is that a girl can never have too many eyeliners! My reason for this is that I constantly lose them, buy another to replace it and find then find the ones that I lose so I have a rather large collection of them!
This I bought ages ago from a local market stall that was selling alot of Stila make up really cheaply. This can be found online and in stores for around the £13.00 mark per eyeliner however I paid £2.50 for mine and being a fan of Stila make up was aware of the steal I was getting at the time!
The eyeliner reminds me more of a pen in style than a pencil. The coour is housed in plastic casing and the colour twists up and down and has a matching lid that goes over the nib and down the side of it we are clearly told what it is and who it by and that's about it really, it simply looks classy.
This comes in 10 shades from light grey to green, purple to black, and me I have the black shade in this as thats the colour I tend to favour the most.
Its a moist colour, but is a pencil but never needs sharpening which is great. It has no scent this one, doesn't drag and is smooth when applied on the eyes. It comes off the pencil thinly but of course you can add more colour as you go for more definition to which this still doesn't cake on or feel heavy.
This is smudge proof once applied though you can give it a smudgy look when applying it if you want to of course and it is really waterproof. It removes with my usual make up routine but prior to that simply stays put where you want it to vibrantly and without any flaking or anything at all.
All In All:
I think this is really good product and would pay out the full retail price for this if say I felt I needed it for when I went to the gym or swimming or something not that I'd personally feel the need to work out or train wearing slap! It does what is promised from it and with total ease and has never once agitated my sensitive eyes and all in all its a great product!

I am a huge fan of Stila cosmetics but often feel put off by the price as although the products are great quality I feel a little guilty buying expensive make-up when I already have a make-up bag full of mac products!
One of my favourite Stila products is the eyeliner - it's amazing and worth every penny! I've had mine for at least six months and there's still lots left and the nib hasn't dried up or gone gloopy like some eyeliners do. It retails at around £13.00 for a 0.28 gram pencil and it's available from a variety of shops and online retailers - I bought mine from Boots.
The eyeliner is available in six different shades ranging from brown and black to green and blue. I've got dark hair and naturally pale skin and I usually wear black eyeliner but I decided to buy the brown shade (which is called 'lionfish') as it's a nice and rich shade of brown which really defines my eyes but it is a little more subtle than black eyeliner, making it suitable for day to day wear - not that black eyeliner isn't, but I just think that this shade looks more natural and it suits me better than black.
I don't fill my eyebrows in much anymore unless I am going out clubbing or to a friends house and this comes in handy for giving them that extra definition. The eyeliner comes in a long, thin plastic tube which has a twist mechanism - when twisted the pencil nib comes out of the top. I am not too keen on this design and I much prefer a basic pencil design as I find that if I twist it out too far it feels like it might break off if I apply any pressure to it. The stars on the plastic casing are a nice touch and although simple the packaging is quite expensive looking.
The eyeliner nib is a good size and slightly pointed while the texture is soft and waxy while still being durable and firm enough not to break easily. The nib is very precise and I find two coats of this is enough as it's very pigmented. The eyeliner is smooth and doesn't clump up at all and the finish is great - no pacthiness at all. I apply it on my upper lid just above my lash line and occasionally for cat eyes and I also use it on my waterline. It looks very neat and precise but if I want a slightly messier, grungey look it is easy to smudge with a blending brush. The eyeliner definitely makes a noticeable difference to my eyes - it defines them and makes them look bigger and more awake.
The staying power is excellent and it lasts all day without fading or smudging. It's waterproof as well so if I get caught in the rain when I'm wearing it it doesn't run down my face which is always an advantage! Overall I give this eyeliner five out of five stars and highly recommend it - it's long lasting, good quality, very well pigmented and good value for money.
Makeup/beauty product lovers will have probably seen the various subscription boxes that are making the rounds in the UK. The boxes are monthly boxes and cost, typically £10+around £3 postage on top. The boxes each contain around 4-5 different samples or full sized products in them. In the US there is a similar service that was started a long time before these boxes started becoming popular in England; theirs is called the BirchBox. I quite like my eyeliners and was really happy to see that in the GlossyBox I'd been given (from my other half - how sweet!), there was a full size Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eye Liner included! I only have this in one colour, but it is probably the one I would have chosen anyway from their line!

~~Current Price and Other Information~~
These eyeliners can be purchased from FeelUnique.com for £13 each at the moment. There are also 6 shades available, including the one I own which is Moray.
The eyeliner has a really long cap - it takes up over a third of the length! The length of the eyeliner is 13cm in total with the cap accounting for nearly 5.5cm of that length! It's a really slim eyeliner at between 0.5-1cm in width and is really easy to carry around in your handbag or makeup bag. The product comes out after you twist it gradually. It's quite pretty and aside from the general Stila logo and manufacturers information, there are several small stars decorated around it. The colour of the stick matches the colour of the product - in my case, it was a nearly accurate representation.
I was really happy with the colour that I got - the colour is called Moray and it's a dark green/brown colour with shimmer. I don't own anything that is this colour, so this was the first product I used in my GlossyBox. It's not a colour that I thought I'd like, but having tried it, I really, really love it. I noticed that when I applied this colour initially it looked black with multicoloured shimmer, but under movement you can definitely make out this dark green/brown colour.
They just glide on the eyes and are even creamier than the urban decay eyeliners, which I love. The pigmentation is also really great - one or two strokes of this and you're ready to go. You don't have to sharpen this product at all since it comes out from inside, but this also means that it is REALLY soft and therefore easy to snap off. Unfortunately once you push this product out by turning the tip, you can't turn in the opposite direction to push this product back in so be careful! Despite this eyeliner not being solid and really soft, you can still use it for more precise lines since the end is a little tapered so you can control the stick quite well.
The shimmer and colour is really flattering on the eyes in my opinion, and it is really easy to smooth out for a more sultry smokey effect. I really enjoy using mine, but I think that it lasts about the same time as many of my other go-to eyeliners like the urban decay one, so I'd say over 3-4 hours. There is more risk of this product giving me the panda look... but with primer on I've been quite happy with this eyeliner. I don't apply it on my waterline, so I can't comment at how good it stays on there. Unlike many other eyeliners, the colour doesn't fade into nothing as you wear it. It really has great pigmentation.
I'd recommend these eyeliners - they are super smooth, super pigmented, and really easy to use. I dislike that it's easy to break off and that the packaging doesn't allow you to push the eyeliner back in, but these are minor really. The range of colours isn't that big, but they have the really wearable colours like brown and black!
