I picked up this Rimmel Special Eyes Precision Eye Liner Pencil at my local Superdrug store. Out of all the make-up products in my cosmetic bag I'd have to say that I use eye liner the least, simply because I don't have the time or patience to get the application right. However, I do like to use eye liners for more dress-up type occasions and I therefore have a few different liners in my collection. I was specifically attracted to this one because it was only £2.99. I also use a lot of other Rimmel products which I find usually give great value for money and so I trust the brand.
I have this pencil in the number 6 colour 'Black Magic' which is a deep inky black colour. The pencil is also available in two other shades which are brown and blue. The net weight of the pencil is 0.004 oz or 1.2g. I have sharpened my pencil since buying it but the length is quite good and is around 4 1/2 inches long. The pencil shape is thin, thinner than a graphite pencil and the outside edges are round and smooth. I find the pencil easy to grip and move whilst applying.
Rimmel call themselves a "crayon eye-liner expert" and they state this pencil can provide "precise colour definition" and produce a "well defined line". They also promise that this pencil is "smudge-proof" and "fade resistant" for up to twelve hours. In regards to the application and wear Rimmel state the pencil has a "smooth texture" and will be "comfortable to wear all day". The pencil is also dermatologist & ophthalmologist tested (tested for safety and comfort for skin and eyes).
I find the pencil easy to use as it's light weight and slender shape means I can move and flick it with no problems. I do find that with this pencil I have to sharpen it prior to using if I haven't used it in a while otherwise the liner becomes dry and then I have to press down harder to apply. It can feel like it's too dry and when this is the case the lines tend to look smoky and less defined than I'd like. However, with a fresh, sharp nib the pencil effects a much bolder finish. The line can be made thin or thick depending on whether the nib is sharpened or not. Application definitely does feel soft and smooth and I can easily achieve the look I'm after without much effort. I would describe myself as someone who can often struggle to get the look right with eye liners but this one doesn't cause me much trouble unless, as I mentioned, the nib is a bit dry after not having used it in a little while.
As well as using in the standard way I have also doubled this up as an eyebrow pencil and it works well there too. It actually defines eyebrows without making it look obvious that you've used a pencil to colour in any patches, which is exactly the look I'm aiming for. It's also possible to alter the pressure on application to achieve a softer, more grey and misty line rather than a sharp dark black line.
This pencil is long lasting and once it's in place it doesn't smudge or fade or rub off until you remove with eye make up remover. Using a pad and liquid remover it's easy to remove the liner.
I would probably buy this again although I'd describe it as being average to good in terms of quality. I have used other pencil eyeliners that were perhaps a little glossier though, although the fact that this isn't as soft/squidgy a pencil as others means that it's staying power increases somewhat. The cheap price tag is also something that appeals. I would recommend this for ladies who use eye liner regularly and who are looking for something that is long lasting but easy to take off at the end of the day/night.

I mainly tend to stick to Clinique when using make up but I do have a few other brands which are cheaper and I think do the job just as well. The one item of make up which I can't leave the house before applying is eyeliner and I have tried a good selection of eyeliner pencils before finding one that I really liked. This Rimmel Eyeliner pencil is one of the ones which I preffered although still not my favourite.
It comes in a black pencil with a lid which is pretty much standard with any eyeliner pencil so it doesn't look like anything fancy and there's nothing technical with the way you use it. It is black and has white writing on the side and a black lid without air holes at the top. The lid comes off easily with just pulling it off and popping it back on again there's no screwing and unscrewing required making it very simple to use. The lip does fit onto the back of the pencil too so whilst you're using it you can put it there to save it from being lost- I find this very useful as I'm always managing to lose the lids off things even within a few seconds (they must go to the same place as all the odd socks!)
The pencil comes ready sharp so the khol inside is ready to be used right away. The tip is sharp but the crayon is soft so it doesn't hurt your skin applying it. When the pencil wears down you do need to use a sharpener to sharpen it again which can be a bit messy but it's easy enough to do. I have found though that it is very difficult to get it as sharp as it was originally. If you drop this pencil on the floor then sharpening it will become very hard as the crayon inside will keep snapping which can be a bit frustrating and the pencil is pretty much redundant.
When applying the eyeliner you should only need to draw on line and then that is it, it's soft enough to apply like this without you having to go over and over the line to emphasise the darkness. It is easy to apply because it is soft, I really do not like eyeliners which require you to apply lots of pressure onto the skin to be able to get a dark effect as this really irritates my eyes and makes them sore. The skin around the eyes is so sensitive that you do need something to be soft on it.
The result after applying this is good but not the best which is why I'm giving it four stars and not five. I have found that compared to others the effect isn't as powerful and I have ended up needing to reapply this after about an hour which isn't really very practical to have to keep touching it up throughout the day. It does look good but it just seems to not be as vivid as others and that it can smudge very easily and soon end up half way down your cheeks so isn't ideal if you're emotional, it's raining or if you're hot!
I still have this in my makup case but tend to just use it if my other one is blunt. It is a good crayon but just not as good as others that I have. You will like it if you're looking for something relatively cheap as it costs around £4 and it is easy to apply it just doesn't have very good staying power!
I have always stuck to the more 'luxury' brands when it comes down to cosmetics. However, when it involves eyeliner or Mascara I tend to buy Rimmel products as I have found despite the low price they have been just as effective as the more expensive luxury brands.
Eyeliner is something I wear everyday without fail, well I say everyday but I do tend to have one day off every now and again where I try to be make-up free... this day involves staying in and not facing the world!
I tend to opt for a black eyeliner but I have experimented with allsorts of colours in the past including gold and plums. As much as I do like trying new colours I do like the classic black eyeliner look more.
The eyeliner is called 'The Special Eyes Eye Liner' the shades available in this eyeliner are: Black Magic, Rich Brown and Azure Shimmer. I purchased the Black Magic one as like I said previously I do tend to like the black eyeliner look the most.
I have been using the Special eyes eyeliner for about 6 years now and I use this eyeliner on my water line, then I apply my 'Clinique' gel liner to the top lid. I prefer to use a pencil for my waterline and it Is generally recommended because gels tend to come off and also it isn't meant to irritate your eyes as much.
Well the eyeliner is a pencil so it is basically a black pencil with the information about the product and the Rimmel logo. You will need to sharpen the pencil once it becomes blunt. There are eyeliner pencil sharpeners available in boots or Superdrug. I must admit I do tend to use a sharpener In the house if I can't find mine... which isn't recommended and is just very lazy of me.
The eyeliner is £2.99 which is a very reasonable price. It lasts a long time which means you aren't going to have to spend too much on this part of your make-up routine. Save the pennies when you can if you are someone who likes to spend money on make-up products like foundations more so.
The eyeliner is very effective at defining my eyes and making them look dramatic. Eyeliner is something that is so diverse in a way because you can apply it in so many ways to give so many different looks whether its on your top lid, bottom lid just below the water line. It's all about experimenting and finding out which suits you the most or if in some cases all do.
I'm pleased with the results the eyeliner gives me and due to the price and the results I will continue to purchase this eyeliner.
One thing I use everytime I go out is an eyeliner. I like to make my eyes 'pop' and prefer a black eyeliner as a general rule. This I found in a local independent chemist and it cost me £2.99 and I had three colour options to choose from which were Rich Brown, Azure Shimmer and I went for Black Magic. All of the pencils are just that really, very long and thin pencils with a long lid to the top covering the nib and down the sides of it we are clearly told what it is and who it is by, the size is stated which is 1.2g and contact details for Rimmel are given.
It comes sharpened at first of course so the nib is pointed and to sharpen this you simply need to use a small pencil sharpener as it is made of wood, I have a cosmetic one. My colour is a rich jet black and it is slightly moist. It is easy to apply and gain precision with, it sets fast and I can't feel it on my eyes at all. It stays put as fresh as when I first put it on and stays put for hours and hours. It does smudge if you give it too much of a rub but I just avoid doing that. It isn't waterproof as such but will take a tear or two without making you look like a clown and it is easy to remove with my usual make up removing routine.
All in all I rather like this eyeliner. I don't have to sharpen it very often at all even with using it often and you do get a great long size for the money this seems to retail at however it isn't an easy one to get your hands on however if you Google it you can find it to buy with ease it just not easy to find in stores.

Eyeliner is an essential item for me as I wear it pretty much daily - even when I can't be bothered with mascara etc.
I'm always picking up new ones whenever I spot a bargain and I bought this Rimmel eyeliner a few months ago from Superdrug as it was on offer at the time. This retails at around £2.99 but I managed to get mine for around a pound less, which I was really pleased with as even at the full price it's a bargain! The eyeliner is widely available and it can be found in various shops eg Boots and Superdrug as well as online via websites such as Amazon and eBay.
This is described by Rimmel as a precise eyeliner which produces a well defined line. They state that it 'accentuates the eyes with an intense, fade resistant colour finish.' There's no mention of lasting power on Rimmel's website so I'm not sure if they claim that this is long lasting or not, so it's worth mentioning that it isn't - nor is it fade resistant like they say it is. I've found that this looks nice and precise for a few hours but by mid day the black has faded to a dark grey and it looks old and worn - not a good look.
Reapplying it is obviously a simple solution but as it gets so patchy and messy looking it is not always practical as I find it best to remove the eyeliner completely before reapplying. As the eyeliner is not waterproof it is easy to remove with a make-up removing wipe or even a baby wipe. The eyeliner has a quite a soft (but firm) pointed nib which glides along my skin gently - I've never had any problems with this irritating my eyes or feeling unpleasant/harsh against my skin. Applying the eyeliner is quick as only one layer is needed for intense colour and it instantly defines the eyes.
It's very precise and the line it leaves is thin and subtle rather than over the top or ridiculously thick however it's easily buildable and it's very easy to manipulate with a smudging brush due to the soft texture, so it's perfect for a smoky eye. I would not recommend wearing this if you're going clubbing though as it is not waterproof nor is it very long lasting so it will more than likely melt off and fade, or run down your face. I have the eyeliner in black and the colours obviously very dark and well pigmented, although when compared to a few of my other black eyeliners this looks more like a very dark charcoal grey. It still looks nice though, so I'm not complaining.
Overall, I give this eyeliner 3/5 stars. It's not as intense in colour as some of my other eyeliners and it isn't very long lasting. It is cheap and looks nice from when it's freshly applied until around 3 hours after application though, so I do recommend it.
I have a wide and varied selection of make up simply due to buying new products at any given opportunity because I 'think' I need them whereas in fact I don't and could quite easily cope without them! However, I do have several staple items which I tend to wear on a daily basis and will therefore have several different versions all of the same item. One make up product I use generally on a daily basis is an eye liner. Not always the same colour but it is an item that I continually buy.
Despite having varying colours of eye liners the one I wear most is black and although I currently have a few black eye liners in my collection one which I have been using for years is the Rimmel Special Eyes Eye Liner which I changed to from just the Rimmel Kohl Eyeliner. The Special Eyes Eye Liner comes in Black Magic, Rich Brown and Azure Shimmer. I own the Black Magic variety although I have had the Rich Brown before.
An eyeliner is all about giving definition to the eyes and to create a more sultry look if desired. Fact of the matter is with an eyeliner for it to look good it needs to be applied correctly as if applied poorly you can end up looking like a drag queen! Rimmel advise that this eyeliner in particular has been designed to accentuate the eyes whilst giving a precise finish. I have been using this eyeliner for years which to me means it does the job it is intended to do without any problems!
The eyeliner looks just like a slim pencil which is black in colour and has a plastic top to protect the nib of the eyeliner. Packaging is very simple as it just comes as a pencil which can be picked off the shelf in the Rimmel stand. There is various information about the product on the slender pencil itself including the product name, Rimmel logo and contact information for Rimmel should you feel the need to write to them. The eyeliner is enclosed within a wooden pencil so you will need to purchase a separate pencil sharpener should you not already have one.
To apply the eyeliner (the pencil is already pre-sharpened when you purchase it) you simply need to gently apply to the eyelid. To get a slim line you tend to use the nib of the eyeliner but if wanting a thicker look then you can press slightly harder when applying and instead of using just the nib point you can use the wider part of the nib. It really is just like drawing a line across your eyelid but you do need to be careful doing it to get an even look on both eyes. On a day to day basis I tend to have the eyeliner just half on my eye lid starting off thin and getting a little thicker, just to get that definition without being over the top.
Rimmel do advise that this specific eyeliner offers a fade free colour and I can confirm that the richness of the black doesn't fade throughout the day which is obviously great and therefore there is no need to re-apply to keep the colour. However, what I have noticed and it is more when I am on a night out so wear a thicker line of eyeliner that if you are not careful you can get a second line in the crease of your eyelid where it touches your line of eyeliner by your lashes but this is something I have experienced with other eye liners too and is only noticeable if you close your eyes for long periods of time which on a night out you tend not to do!
Rimmel Special Eyes Eye Liner is incredibly easy to remove whether using an eye make-up removing liquid or a simple make up wipe it is easily removed. It certainly doesn't stick to your skin even when used over a primer. I also find it incredibly gentle to use and to date it has not once irritated my skin which is great as I can have sensitive skin around my eyes.
I really cannot complain about this eye liner and the fact that I have been using it for years should speak for something as if it was awful I'd have stopped using it long before now! It is incredibly easy to apply and gives a lovely rich colour and can offer either a sultry, sexy look or the day to day definition that many women like to have. This is a product that I will still continue to use and to buy for as long as they still make it. Definitely a recommendation! 5 stars.
~ Useful Information ~
Price: Around the £2.50-£2.99 mark
Availability: Rimmel stockists such as Boots, Superdrug etc
I went through a phase of wearing more vibrant colours (usually metallic) and ended up purchasing several to try out. I spotted the Special Eyes pencil in Azure Shimmer whilst shopping and realised that I didn't have such a colour...cue, impulsive purchase...The colour is a lovely medium, metallic blue colour.
(Superdrug) Special Eyes Eye Liner Pencil delivers a precise, sharp and perfectly placed line. This wooden eye pencil can be kept sharp with a standard size makeup pencil sharpener.
Superdrug currently sell them for £2.99.
Weight: 1.2g/0.04 oz
Lasts: 30 months
Packaging: The eyeliner looks pretty standard and measures around 13.5 cm with the cap on. The lid is the colour of the eyeliner, so mine is a rather pretty blue. The cap doesn't really reflect the colour since it's quite a bit darker than the eyeliner colour. There is a lot of writing on the eyeliner body in white on a black background. The barcode itself takes up a lot of the body since these eyeliners don't come boxed up.
The biggest selling point for me was definitely the intensity of the pigment. The consistency isn't hard nor soft, but you don't need much force to apply. To get the intense blue though I did have to go over the same line several times; this didn't bother me though. This eyeliner also smudged quite easily, which is quite nice if you want your eye makeup to look softer. The colour remains quite vivid after smudging. The colour isn't completely uniform, but there was no blatant flakiness like the Khôl & Contour eyeliner I reviewed before. Staying power wise, it wasn't so great and did not last that long, which was disappointing since I did want to like this eyeliner.
Nice colour during initial application, but wears off pretty quickly. I wouldn't repurchase it and will give it 3 stars out of 5.
Rimmel eye liner
I needed a new eye liner as I tend to lose them quite frequently, so when I was recently in Boots, I bought several different types, ready for the inevitable loss.
**Product and Packaging...**
As with most eye liners, this is bought as seen, and not in a box or in additional packaging, so it's worth checking that the product hasn't been tried out by someone else. This product looks like a pencil, with a pull off lid and the name of the product on the side.
When I pull off the lid and try out the product on my hand, I am pleased to note that it glides on nice and easily without tugging at my skin,so if I get this effect on my eyes I will be more than pleased.
The eye liner can be used to achieve different looks, and I am pleased to find that it glides onto my eyes easily and leaves soft lines which can be easily smudged for a softer effect. The colour is very dense and a real true black and once applied, it does last for several hours so doesn't need to be reapplied too often.
To remove it, it's best to use a make up remover and when using one formulated for the eyes I find that the eye liner is very easy to remove.
**Price and Availability...**
The eye liner costs £2.99 and is widely available online and instores; I bought mine from Boots. Considering the cost of many similar products, this one is very reasonably priced.
I have the black eye liner but in total it is available in 9 shades (including black): Sable black; Denim Blue: Jungle Green: stormy Grey; Royal Blue Purple Passion; Green Shimmer. There seems to be a colour for almost any kind of look you would want to achieve, so great for anyone who wants to experiment with colours.
I like this product. It is easy to use , and reasonably priced. When I apply it, the line I get is quite thick and easy to blend, so I don't have to keep going over the same bit of skin. Long lasting, easy to remove, this is a recommended product for anyone wanting an eye liner.
Thanks for reading
As a lover of make up my one essential product is my eyeliner, I cannot go anywhere without putting a bit on, without it my eyes lok so bare and I always look like ive just woken up or something. So when I brought this rimmel eyeliner for 4.99 I was hoping that it would give me the effect that I wanted.
And I can honestly say I absolutley love this eyeliner its so easy to apply and gives my eyes great definition when putting it on. Its also very good for doing the little flicks at the end which I like to do once in a while to make my eyes look wider. I find with other eyeliners that they seem to rub off very quickly and give that kind of smuged I didnt take my make up off before I went to bed kind of look. However this rimmel eyeliner stayed in tact for most of the day and I was pleased that I didnt have to go top it up or gives my eyes a quick wipe incase it smudged.
Am very pleased with this product and will definately be buying it again would say its great value for money.
First of all let me say that I am a big fan of Rimmel products. Since moving out from home and not being able to use my mums make-up anymore I realized just how expensive all these little goodies can be. As a student it is virtually impossible for me to spend 10 or more pounds on a good quality eyeliner. Unfortunately I love using eyeliner and go through them very quickly - Rimmel is the answer here with the Rimmel Special Eyes Eye Liner being available for only 2.99 pounds. The price is more than reasonable for this great product that lasts for ages and I instantly bought 2 different colours of it.

The eyeliner is available at most beauty stores like superdrugs and I think even in most supermarkets. With 2.99 it is one of the cheapest eyeliner available and it comes in 3 different shades (black, brown and azure). I only bought the first two so I cannot comment on the azure one. Both colours thoroughly convinced me with their intensity and I'm sure that I will keep buying them once I run out - which will be a while as you get quite a lot of product for your money.
Using the eyeliner is pretty straightforward. The tip is fairly soft and the colour easily applied - a big advantage is that it is very intense right after the first application. I hate eyeliners with which I have to go over and over until the colour is deep enough. I mean, if I buy a black eyeliner I want it to be black and not some kind of gray. Anyway, the Rimmel one is great and especially the black is very intense. As it is easily smudged it is great to create the smoky eyes effect for a big night out. The brown is a lovely and natural colour that highlights your eyes during the day without being to glam and intense. I prefer brown eyeliner during the winter months as I go terribly white and my eyes just look ridiculous with loads of black around them. Brown is a much more neutral colour that does not make you look more pale than you are.
My only criticism is that the eyeliner (especially the black one) smudges very easily. As I said above that is great if you want to create certain effects but not that great if it is hot or you are tired and rubbing your eyes. But I guess that is the price that you pay for such an intense and rich colour.

I can thoroughly recommend the Rimmel Special Eyes Eye Liner to anyone and would award it 09 out of 10 points.

Thanks for reading and rating my review!
This eyeliner is a simple black pencil with silver lettering.
I bought this as it's a little cheaper than my usual eyeliner and thought i would give it a try to see if it performed as well. I found that the eyeliner was fairly easy to put on, only requiring one or two strokes of the pencil to get the desired effect and the colouration it produced was nice and dark. I also found it quite easy to smadge this eyeliner when creating the smoky eye effect so i was initially quite pleased. However, as the day wore on i found that this eyeliner smudges ridiculously easily, i am quite used to wearing eye makeup and dont often rub my eyes but i found this product simply would not stay put! As a result of this smudging i had to reapply this eyeliner a couple of times over the day which really isn't convenient. I feel it is worth paying a few pennies more for a product which won't smudge and fade over the day as Special eyes does.
Although I don't stick to one brand when it comes to most of my make up products there is one thing I won't change as I don't feel other brands work better for me. My all time favourite eyeliner has got be Rimmel Special Eyes.
I have used various colours in this eyeliner and each work equally as well. I have used similar shades in other brands and have encountered problems which never happen with Rimmel's version so for years now I have been loyal to this particular brand.
I have been using eyeliner for years, but a lot of them have caused me problems, I even ended up with an infection in both eyes from one I was using but I soon found Rimmel Special eyes and have since really enjoyed and appreciated it's good quality.
This pencil eyeliner comes in a black coloured pencil, the shade of the eyeliner though can be recognised by the colour of the lid. I have used the black and azure mostly. The azure version is a shimmering blue shade.
The eyeliner glides on smoothly, leaving no smudges or marks, it doesn't irritate my eyes nor infect them which is a bonus lol! The colour appears clear and defined from the first glide, I don't have to keep re applying it every 2 minutes either as it lasts quite a while and remains just as subtle or as bright as you've applied it. The blue colour I was using wasn't cheap or tacky, it worked well with my eyes and really enhanced my blue colouring without leaving me looking like a clown. Whilst applying the eyeliner the colour applies to your eyes instantly so I don't have to keep smearing the pencil over them. Using these pencils I can create near enough any look I fancy, I can create a defined and strong style to my eye make up yet I can also produce a shadowy effect, maybe even a mellowed out and gentle look to my eyes. Either way the pencil is brilliant to use, really easy to apply and creates some lovely looks depending on preference. For anyone looking for a decent eyeliner in various shades I would definitely reccomend this one.
Rimmel Special Eyes Eye Liner
I have been using eyeliners for ages, and I have tried so many eyeliners in the past. I am also a really big fan of Rimmel but I am not too sure on this product. I usually use the loreal one which I have previously review (which is amazing, well as far as eyeliners go). I have the shade 16 black magic.
Firstly the packaging is really nice and simple like most of the other rimmel london products. And the eyeliner applies really easily on to my lid and it also applies really easily on to my waterline. I usually only put the eyeliner all around my waterline and some times eyeliners are not safe/suitable for the waterline, but this one left me with no irritation or anything there.
Some eyeliners I have tried have not been easy to apply or the colour has not been easy to make strong but this one is so easy to use and control. The colour is almost instantly strong and defined so I don't have to keep going over my waterline with the liner - and because of this it is less time consuming.
But it smudges really easily which is good if you want a smoky eye look but for the waterline it is not really good as it does not stay in place very long and it can be taken off easily which is not good if you want it to stay in place most of the day!
*Very very easy to apply and easy to control, so I can create quite strong defined lines/flicks
*Nice simple packaging
*Very strong deep colour - not fain colour like some others I have used
*Cheap - about £2.99 from superdrug
*Great for smoky eye looks
*Lasts for ages with out needing to sharpen it
*Does not last all day on the waterline
*Can smudge quite easily - which is good if you want the smoky eye look but not very good if you want it to look sharp and defined all day
Thank you for reading my review
I have been wearing eyeliner since,, well, ever since I can remember! I always choose black as I believe (or like to believe) that is makes me eyes look sharper and the white of my eye look whiter.
So the other day when I popped into my local Boots I spotted this Rimmel 'Special Eyes' eye liner and honestly, I was drawn to the name of the eyeliner rather than the eyeliner itself or the brand.
I figured that Rimmel is a trusted brand so it couldn't be that bigger mistake picking myself one.
It set me back around £3, so I felt that if this worked it was a nice little bargain as they normally cost me somewhere between £5 - £8 each.
It came with no packaging as such, just a clear peice of cellophane to cover the clear lid and then just a black pencil.
To apply I was very happy, unlike other eyeliners where you have to cross it over your eye 3 or 4 times until you get a nice solid colour, with this one just one nice clean sweep is enough.
It does not feel scratchy to apply and neither does it have some flakiness to it, which is wear it begins to come out blotchy. It was soft and smooth to apply, which made it all the more easy to apply it in one short, single stroke.
I really like the colour too, it is a very solid, dark black and unlike some of them I have had does not fade into a greyey colour, but instead keeps this colour.
If you wear it on your upper eye then I found that I did not need to reapply throughout the day. As with other black eyeliners that I sometimes wear it did not smudge either and stayed put.
When I wore it on my inner eye it lasted a decent time, it did rub off a bit, however all eyeliners that I have applied to my inner eye do this. I found that when wearing it on my inner eye I only needed to apply 2 times though, as with others it may have been 3 or 4 times.
Overall I would highly recommend this eyeliner as it really did do a good job, better than most I have used. At such a bargain price I shall definitley be purchasing it again!

I tend to always use eyeliner on a daily basis and always go for black as I think it gives the sharpest look.
However the thing that I find is that they always seem to smudge, which doensn't give the desired look.
The other day when shopping I picked up this Rimmel London one which cost me £2.35 which was a very reasonable price. Before buying I used the tester on my hand and was satisfied with the results as it came out a very dark black and not that cloudy blacky/grey coulour which they sometimes do.
To apply it feels smooth and it doesn't irritate my eyes or make them run, which sometimes happens with others when I apply them to my inner eye. I was pleased with the result as I only had to move it across my eye once to get a solid, black line.
This was great as it meant I did not have to go back and forth across me eye, which would have irritated it, before it was covered properly. Also due to the smoothness of it makes it easy to apply to the eye.
I also found that it lasted near enough all day without any smudging, if I was going to wear throughout the day and then into the evening then I may reapply just to keep it looking newly applied and sharp.
It was also just as easy to remove as it was to apply, just a quick wipe over it came off, which required no extra rubbing or scrubbing.
Overall I would highly reccomend this as it does exactly what is required of it at a great price!
